I called on Your name, O LORD (יהוה) (Yahweh), out of the lowest pit. You have heard my voice, “Do not hide Your ear from my relief, from my cry for help.” You drew near when I called on You; You said, “Do not fear!” O Lord (אדני) (Adonai), You have pleaded my soul’s cause; You have redeemed my life. Lamentations 3:55-58.

This I recall to my mind; therefore I have hope. The LORD’s lovingkindnesses never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I have hope in Him.” The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him. Lamentations 3:21-25.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

Are you a dawn watcher? By that I mean do you wait and watch for the sunrise each morning, just to see its sheer beauty? Does it not strike a note of hope in your heart as you see first just a sliver of glorious orange light, the edge of the sun, coming up on the horizon and then suddenly the full circle of the sun so that you can no longer gaze upon it because it is too bright for the gaze of physical eyes? Once you have experienced the expectancy and excitement of watching the sun rise you want to watch it again and again, and the wonderful thing is you can, every morning. Great is My faithfulness. And just as the sun gives light to every person and no one is excluded who wants to exult and find warmth in its light, so too am I. Each morning My mercies and lovingkindness bless and renew in your life. But just as many people care little to watch the dawn, so too, many refuse to come into My light. “The Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.” John 3:19-20.

But My lovingkindnesses never cease. My sun shines on the bad and the good, My rain falls on the just and the unjust, giving seed for the sower and bread for the eater. For while the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8:22. And My mercies and compassion never fail. Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved, all who call in truth, for no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except by the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Truth. My Word is truth and it sanctifies you. Receive the implanted Word, it has the power to save your souls. Cultivate it and let the Son shine on it.

Nothing but fungi can grow in the dark. All others need light. Sunlight makes photosynthesis occur in the leaves of the plants. Photosynthesis is a process I set up in plants and other organisms to convert light energy into chemical energy that can later be released to fuel the organisms’ activities. It is energy. Power. Strength to operate, not to faint in weakness. Solar power. Jesus is the Sun of Righteousness that has risen in your darkness with healing in His rays. “His coming is as brilliant as the sunrise. Rays of light flash from His hands, where His awesome power is hidden.” Habakkuk 3:4. And in His hands there is healing, compassion, protection, and provision. The laying on of hands imparts power and the Holy Spirit to another from a Spirit filled believer also.

For you who believe in My Son, I AM your portion. You are My people and I am your God. You are My children and I am your Father, and as a father has compassion on his child so I do on you. As a father desires good things for his child and gives him all the good he has, so I do for you. My people are filled with My goodness. Jeremiah 31:14. Taste and see My goodness. Those who seek Me want for no good thing. Every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down from Me, the Father of lights, in whom there is no darkness. James 1:17. And I am your portion. I am your inheritance. Seek Me and your reward is very great. It is the Kingdom.

Therefore I give you hope. Tikvah. A cord that draws you into the Holy of Holies, to My throne of grace, where you can come with absolute confidence to receive mercy and find grace right when you need it. Hebrews 4:16.

Why? “The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him.” Lamentations 3:25. Do not give up. Fight the good fight of faith and you will obtain the promise in My Word that you are relying upon. It is impossible to please Me without faith, for to come to Me you must believe that I AM and that I reward those who seek Me. Hebrews 11:6.

And how do you fight the good fight of faith as you wait for the promise in My Word to come to manifestation in your physical body and your life on earth? For you know that in Christ you are already blessed with every spiritual blessing and have been supplied with all you need for life and godliness and for the good deeds I prepared for you to do in advance, you just have to pull them out of the Spirit realm to the physical realm by faith. And faith speaks—believe in your heart and speak with your mouth. But not just anything. “Who is there that speaks and it comes to pass unless the Lord (אֲדֹנָ֖י Adonai, which signifies God and man, it is the term used for Jesus, as David did in Psalm 110) has commanded?” Lamentations 3:37. You must rightly divide Scripture and when you note in your English or other translation that there is LORD, all in capitals, and Lord in lower case, they are different words in Hebrew, and when you see “Lord God,” and Lord is not all in capital letters, then it is Adonai Yahweh  but translators do not like to put Lord LORD. But if you see LORD God it is Yahweh Elohim. My Covenant name for those who are in Covenant with Me and My Name as creator and judge for those who are not. David told Goliath that I, the LORD (יהוה), would deliver Goliath into David’s hands, being that David was in Covenant with Me, and the then the whole world would know there is a God, the God (אֱלֹהִ֖ים Elohim), in Israel. 1 Samuel 17:46.

But do you see? What you speak will come to pass when you are in agreement with the High Priest of your confession (homologia in Greek, which the New Testament was written in, which means speaking the same Word), who is Jesus, as He presents your words to Me and you know that I watch over My Words to perform them. Jeremiah 1:12. If you are speaking My promises and making them your own words, those will come to pass. But if you are speaking desires that are contrary to My Word, they will not. “Who is there that speaks and it comes to pass unless the Lord (אֲדֹנָ֖י Adonai) has commanded?” And the holy angels, the angelic host, that ministers to the heirs of salvation responds to the voice of My Word, even in your mouth when spoken in faith. According to your faith.

Examine yourself, your words, your actions, your thoughts, “Let us examine and probe our ways and let us return to the LORD.” Lamentations 3:40. How? “We lift up our heart and hands toward God in Heaven.” Lamentations 3:41. Ask Me to enlighten you with where you are allowing the curse to alight though you are redeemed from the curse in Jesus and teach you to profit and walk in the victory Christ won for you—the life of good deeds I prepared for you in advance that you might live them with joy.

And what do you do if you have gotten yourself, or, like Joseph, someone else threw you, into a pit? Go to My word and find out. “I called on Your Name, O LORD (יהוה) (Yahweh), out of the lowest pit. You have heard my voice, ‘Do not hide Your ear from my relief, from my cry for help.’ You drew near when I called on You; You said, ‘Do not fear!’ O Lord (אדני) (Adonai), You have pleaded my soul’s cause; You have redeemed my life. O LORD, You have seen my oppression; judge my case.” Lamentations 3:55-59.

This verse is the treasure vein for those who want out of a pit. Take a careful look and discern how to apply it in your life. First note, you call upon Me when you are in a pit, no matter how deep or dark it seems and how impossible to climb out of. When Jeremiah wrote this he had already been thrown into a miry cistern by his enemies and he was starving there. Your situation may seem horrible but it may not be that bad. He called My covenant Name, YHWH. He was in covenant with Me by virtue of that he was a descendant of Abraham, with whom I made Covenant that was for him and  his descendants, and also the Mt. Sinai covenant with the Israelite nation. You who are in Christ are descendants of Abraham by your clothing in Christ and are heirs of all the Covenants of promise, but best of all you are in the new and everlasting Covenant in which the others all merge and culminate as perfectly fulfilled. And when those in Covenant call, I hear. Remember? The Israelites cried out to Me in their slavery in Egypt and because of My Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, I heard and came down to redeem them. Exodus 3:6-22. And that is when I gave Moses My Covenant Name forever. LORD (יהוה)(YHWH). I tell you in Psalm 91 that I will set you securely on high, because you have known My name. Psalm 91:14.

And what do you cry to Me for? Read the passage. Relief and help. I helped David wherever he went. 2 Samuel 8:6, 14. Why? He called on Me as his Helper and Deliverer. He sang that I was present as his helper. He drew near Me so I drew near him. Draw close to Me, I draw close to you. When you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me right there with you.

And what do I say? What I say so often throughout the Bible, “Do not fear.” Do not fear, it is I. Jesus told that to his frightened disciples on the stormy sea of Galilee. And when I send My angels with messages that is what they always tell the one to whom they are giving the message, “Do not fear.” Do not live in fear, little flock, it has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom. And that says it all. All that you need or desire is available to you in the Kingdom. And that is where your citizenship is when you are born again.

And why do you have nothing to fear? Read the next line, “O Lord (אדני) (Adonai), You have pleaded my soul’s cause; You have redeemed my life. O LORD.” Jesus, your Adonai, your Lord, your great High Priest ever lives to make intercession for you because He saves you to the uttermost. He is always pleading your cause, making you holy and blameless, beyond reproach before Me. In Him, I have found a ransom for you, and by His blood you have been redeemed. I gave His life for yours. I have redeemed you in the everlasting Covenant of love. “You have redeemed my life, O LORD (YHWH).” Yes, I have. I am your rock and your redeemer. And it is up to you not to allow your heart to be troubled or afraid by reminding yourself of these things and taking the peace which My Son gave to you. Cast all your cares on Me because I care for you. I will take care of you.

“You have seen my oppression; judge my case.” Lamentations 3:59. I have judged your sins on Christ Jesus and freed you. I have acquitted you, so who can bring a charge against you? There is no condemnation now for those who are in Christ Jesus. I have made you righteous with My own righteousness, and established in righteousness, you are far from oppression. No weapon formed against you can prosper and every tongue raised against you, you shall prove false, for your vindication and righteousness is from Me. Know that I am on your side. Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. I have judged and condemned the devil already so the verdict is for you.

And I promise you many times to pull you out of pits. “Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom’; Let his flesh become fresher than in youth. Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor. Then he will pray to God, and He will accept him, that he may see His face with joy, and He may restore His righteousness to man. He will sing to men and say, ‘I have sinned and perverted what is right, and it is not proper for me. He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, and my life shall see the light.’ Behold, God does all these oftentimes with men, to bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of life.” Job 33:24-30. “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.” Psalm 103:2-5. “He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their pits.” Psalm 107:20.

And Jesus once said to those accusing Him of violating the Sabbath by healing on that day, “What man is there among you who has a sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will he not take hold of it and lift it out?” Matthew 12:11. In Jesus, I pull you out of the pit. And where do I put you when I pull you out? Like Joseph, I took him from the pit of the dungeon to the palace. I take you off the ash heap to seat you with the Prince of Peace. I put your feet on the height and a new song in your mouth of praise.

I love you. Do not stay in your pit. You are a new creation, no more condemnation so no more lamentation but only jubilation. Jesus brought the jubilee. He is the jubilee. Debt cancelation and total restoration. He has pulled you out of the pit to the palace, the many mansions in Heaven.
