When I passed by you and saw you squirming in your blood, I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ Yes, I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ Ezekiel 16:6.

I will not die, but live, and tell of the works of the LORD. Psalm 118:17.

“For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live.” Ezekiel 18:32.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

Never give in. Never give up. Never let go of your hope (Tikvah, which means a cord). Never let go of your lifeline. Never cut the rope of your anchor.

I am going to tell you the secret of life. Live! Many people do not like life because they have never lived. You are alive, I have willed you into being and filled you with life, so live. You live because of Me and for Me. “If we live, we live for the Lord.” Romans 14:8.

It is time you grabbed hold of and lived the life that is life indeed. 1 Timothy 6:19.

Death and sorrow entered the world through Adam, but life and joy entered the world through Jesus Christ. The angel told the awestruck shepherds in the fields of Bethlehem the night of the earthly birth of the Messiah, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which is for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11. Good news of GREAT JOY. He came that you might have life and have it abundantly. He came to give you the life that is life indeed. The life you were born to LIVE.

My Words are Spirit and life. I have the Words of everlasting life. There is life in My Word. In My Word is eternal life.

Being in fear, pain, blame, shame, offense, anger, addictions, sickness, poverty, hunger, thirst, captivity, abuse—these are not life but death. But Jesus told you, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them and cast them into the fire and they are burned.” John 15:4-6. In Jesus you will find the abundant life that is true life. “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.” John 11:25-26. You will not be among the dead, but among the living, like Jesus. “Why do you seek the living One among the dead?” Luke 24:5.

As a descendant of Adam according to the flesh when you are born you are born into a life under the law of sin and death. I describe this to My prophet Ezekiel: “As for your birth, on the day you were born your navel cord was not cut, nor were you washed with water for cleansing; you were not rubbed with salt or even swaddled at all. No eye looked with pity on you to do any of these things for you, to have compassion on you. Rather you were thrown out into the open field, for you were abhorred on the day you were born.” Ezekiel 16:4-5. But when I passed by you and saw you flailing in your blood, I said to you in your blood, “Live!” Yes, I said to you in your blood, “Live!” Ezekiel 16:6.

And I helped you to thrive like a plant in the field. You grew up and became a beautiful jewel. Your matured in strength and development, but you were still naked. And when I passed by again, I saw that you were old enough for love so I spread My kanaf (wing, corner of garment, end of a cloak) over you, and covered your nakedness; indeed, I swore an oath unto you, and entered into a covenant with you, says Adonai Yahweh, and you became Mine.

Then I washed you with water; indeed, I thoroughly washed away your corruptible blood from you, and I anointed you with oil, the oil of joy. I clothed you with embroidered cloth, and shod your feet with fine leather, and I girded you about with fine linen, and I covered you with silk. I gave you the garments of salvation and the robe of righteousness. I bedecked you also with jewelry, and I put bracelets upon your hands, and a necklace chain on your neck. And I put a ring in your nose, and earrings in your ears, and a jeweled crown upon your head. Thus I bedecked you with gold and silver and your raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and embroidered cloth; you did eat fine flour, and honey, and olive oil; and you were exceedingly beautiful, and you did become royalty. And your name went forth among the unbelievers, among the nations, on account of your beauty; for it was perfect, through My splendor which I had set upon you,” says Adonai Yahweh. Ezekiel 16:4-14.

How to you pass out of death into life so that you really live? I tell you quite plainly the answer but there are few who truly use it continually or even understand the power that it generates unto life that is life indeed, life abundant that overflows, beyond all you can think or imagine. And what is the answer so you can take hold of that life and LIVE? You will find the answer in many Scriptures but My beloved John understood it well when he concluded his account of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, the Gospel according to John, “Therefore many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book, but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name. John 20:30-31.

The life is in His Name for there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which you must be saved. Acts 4:12. Saved from death to life. He who has the Son has the life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. 1 John 5:12. Whoever calls on His Name will be saved. Romans 10:13. “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” John 5:24.

When you have His Name, you have Him. “Where two or three have gathered together in My Name, I am there in their midst.” Matthew 18:20. “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:13-14. Call His Name and He shows up. And faith in His Name releases His power to save, heal, and deliver: “These signs will accompany those who believe in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18. “Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.” John 16:23-24.

What is so great about that Name? “Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the Name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:8-11. I bestowed that Name on Him for He saved you from your sins, Matthew 1:21, and He inherited it: “When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.” Hebrews 1:3-4. On Pentecost when the people who witnessed the event of the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the believers, they asked how they too could be saved. Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38. Baptized in His Name. He is the way, the truth, and the LIFE.

“Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.” Acts 10:43. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23. He came that you might have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10. There is life, His life, in His Name. And you have it who believe in His Name. But it will life dormant if you never use the Name as He told you to do. You have the power to cast out demons and raise the dead to life in that Name. With that Name you can give people life so they may LIVE.

Watch it applied. After Pentecost, Peter and John were going up to the temple at the three o’clock hour, the hour of prayer. And a man who had been lame from his mother’s womb was being carried along, whom they used to set down every day at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, in order to beg alms of those who were entering the temple. When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he began asking to receive alms. But Peter, along with John, fixed his gaze on him and said, “Look at us!” And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!” And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened. With a leap he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. Acts 1:1-8. They did not pray over this man, they used what they had as believers, which you have too, they applied the Name, and Jesus took care of the rest. John 14:13-14.

And when the astonished crowd ran to see how this great miracle had happened, Peter explained: “And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the Name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16.

But that was not the end of it. On the next day, the rulers and elders and scribes were gathered together in Jerusalem; and Annas the high priest was there, and Caiaphas and John and Alexander, and all who were of high-priestly descent. When they had placed them in the center, they began to inquire, “By what power, or in what name, have you done this?” Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of the people, if we are on trial today for a benefit done to a sick man, as to how this man has been made well, let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by this name, this man stands here before you in good health.” Acts 4:5-10.

And even the unbelieving rulers had to acknowledge that it was in the Name of Jesus this mighty work had taken place that brought the lame man from a life of living death to the life that was life indeed. Peter and John had given him LIFE abundantly by the Name of Jesus. So the rulers conferred, saying, “What shall we do with these men? For the fact that a noteworthy miracle has taken place through them is apparent to all who live in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it will not spread any further among the people, let us warn them to speak no longer to any man in this name.” And when they had summoned them, they commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. Acts 4:16-18. But of course, that put no stop to their using the Name of Jesus, for He had given them, and all believers, authority to do so. And you have that authority too, you who believe in His Name.

My early followers understood the power in the Name. It was the Name they preached. And the authorities were angered at this and some time later again warned them not to use the Name of Jesus. “We gave you strict orders not to continue teaching in this name, and yet, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.” But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:27-28.

May I ask you: How are you born again out of death unto life? By confessing the Name of Jesus as Lord, Romans 10:9-10, for no one can say Jesus is Lord except in the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:3. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death, for if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. For when profess faith in the Name of Jesus, My Spirit dwells in you, I, who raised Christ Jesus from the dead, will also give life to your mortal bodies through My Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:2, 10-11.

This is My commandment, that you believe in the name of My Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded you. The one who keeps My commandments abides in Me, and I in him. You know by this that I abide in you, by the Spirit whom I have given you. 1 John 3:23-24.

You have died to death in Jesus and in Him I have raised you to life. “Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4. “But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.” Hebrews 2:9. “Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.” Hebrews 2:14-15.

I love you and I have given you eternal life and it begins now to that you may LIVE. And that life is in Jesus for all who call upon His Name. I have given you His Name, use it with faith, reverence, and awe, and watch death turn into life. And something else too, faith in that Name puts you in the Lamb’s Book of Life forever, giving you access to My Kingdom. Revelation 21:27. And now that you know the secret of life, choose life that you and your descendants may live life. Death and life are in the hand of your tongue.

The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your Name.” And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.” Luke 10:17-20.
