Death and life are in the power (hand) of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21.
For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, as it is written, “A father of many nations have I made you,” in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things not existing as existing. Romans 4:16-17.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Faith, your faith, is the victory that overcomes the world. Faith in what? My Word. And what is the spirit of faith? You believe in your heart and speak with your mouth. And that is where the victory is won, you just have to call it in and walk it out. Nothing is impossible for Me and all things are possible to those who believe that. And I do everything, make everything, and call everything into being only one way, and that is by My Word. And you, who are in My image, do the same.
It is written for your instruction and edification the way that My promises are manifested in your life. It is through faith but it has certain laws that work and it is mirrored in the physical world also. My Word comprises the perfect law of liberty. James 1:25. Where My Spirit is there is liberty. 2 Corinthians 3:17. When you continue (abide, remain, look intently) in My Word, you are truly My disciples, and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. John 8:31-32. Free from the curse and all that goes with it. Free from the condemnation, shame, and blame that comes from focusing on your own performance instead of on My Word and allowing My Word to implant in your heart and save your souls (mind, will, and emotions) and heal your bodies and provide for your needs.
What am I referring to? I tell you about Abraham’s faith and how I work in My apostle Paul’s letter to the Romans. There is the passage I want you to consider, as we begin today Life Lesson No. 3, in the series “Watch YOUR Words!” And this is a matter of life or death, for death and life are in the power (hand) of your tongue. So what are you going to reach out and take? It is up to you and it is determined by your words. So you would be wise to learn this.
Here is the passage I refer you to now: “For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, as it is written, “A father of many nations have I made you,” in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things not existing as existing. Romans 4:16-17.
First and foremost, it is by faith. As you frame your life and world around you it comes either out of faith or out of fear. Both faith and fear call in what they are targeted on, that is, what you are taking by your thoughts, imaginations, and words. You receive grace, the impartation of My divine life and favor and My fullness of power and skill so that you become a partaker of My divine nature, into your life by faith. “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” Ephesians 2:9-10.
And read on, “For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham . . .” “So that the promise will be guaranteed.” What promise? Look back at the paragraph preceding this passage and find the promise, “For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.” Romans 4:13. And it was his faith that I credited to him as righteousness, not his works. Romans 4:9. And it is the same for you, by your faith in Jesus that all your sins were transferred to his account so that in Him you are made righteous with My own righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:21. Heir of the world, what does that mean? Look back at Genesis, Daniel and look to Revelation and you will find your answer. First, look to Genesis, “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Genesis 1:26. Now look to Daniel, “Then the sovereignty, the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.” Daniel 7:27. And again, “I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and overpowering them until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom.” Daniel 7:21-22. Now look to Revelation, “And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.” Revelation 22:5.
Next in the passage we are considering in the letter to the Romans, it is written, “but also those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, as it is written, “A father of many nations have I made you,” in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things not existing as existing. Romans 4:16-17. I am calling Abraham your father in the faith and not Adam. Because of his faith and the seed of being willing to sacrifice (sow) his beloved son, I gave My beloved Son to come from his line according to the flesh. Abraham believed Me and trusted Me able to perform what I had promised. He was fully persuaded and refused to consider his own aged body or Sarah’s barren womb and instead declared he was a father of many nations as I had spoken to him. He did not waver off that confession of faith. But there is more to it than that, he called it into being. I even changed his name so others called it into being over him too.
“In the presence of Him whom he believed, even God.” Yes, “have faith in God,” My Son told you, and go beyond that to having My kind of faith. And what is My kind of faith? “Even God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things not existing as existing.” Romans 4:17. “By faith we understand that the universe (ages) were prepared by the Word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.” Hebrews 11:3. I call things into being by things that exist in the spiritual realm within Me already. It was dark and void at the beginning of the creation of the world, but I did not call it dark and empty, I spoke “light be!” And light was and it was no longer dark. I made things new. I speak those things that be not as if they are and they manifest. Why? Not because they came out of nowhere. What you see is not made out of things which are visible in the physical natural sense but they are made out of things that are not physically visible but are no less real and available. Are you beginning to understand what is available to you to call from the spiritual to the physical? I have already blessed you in Christ with every spiritual blessing in Heaven. It is there already, you need only call it in to the physical realm.
So where do you look to find what you need at any given moment? I have told you, “while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18. Seen things are temporal. What does that mean? They can be changed.
So what do you do with this? Everything. You have the solution for all that needs to be healed, fixed, and brought into being to further My Kingdom on earth.
If you have a need or a problem, look intently in My Word and find a promise that pertains to that need. Think of what I have written therein by My Spirit through the inspired writers is My note to you personally. If you are ill or being attacked by disease, pain, disability, look for My note to you: “by His wounds you were healed,” “I AM the LORD who heals you,” “I heal all your diseases,” “He Himself took your infirmities and carried away(removed) your diseases,” and “I sent My Word and healed you and delivered you from death.” See all these with your name on them as My Words directly to you and speak them in the first person about yourself. “By His wounds I was and am healed.” “He is My healer, I have nothing to fear, He has healed Me! Hallelujah!” “He sent His Word and healed Me and delivered me from death.” “I am healed and made whole.” And refuse to say otherwise no matter how sick or bad you feel. Call it in, receive it, take it, and apply it so then you will have the result. And thank Me for it before you see it in the physical, see it in the spirit. It is already in your heavenly account. The mountain will move. It is the same with buildings, finances, projects—if you find where it is written it already exits in the spiritual realm and you can call it in to the physical because the things that are seen were not made by things that are visible. Hebrews 11:3.
Let Me give you an example that may give clarity to this. Let us say you had a medicine prescribed by the dermatologist to heal a dermatitis or rash on your skin. You would take the prescription and go to the drug store and have it filled. You do not see it yet, you only have the written prescription and the promise of the doctor that it is the correct medicine for your rash. You then obtain what was written on the prescription form, apply it to the rash, and with joy find that it took away the itchy burning and in a couple of weeks of applying it, you are healed like it was never there.
You could see My Word as the written prescription, your speaking it to Me like turning in the prescription (you could also see it as your petition, a petition is a legal term meaning you state what is legally yours by statute that another is taking and pray the Judge to declare you the result of the law over your opponent), I agree with your speaking My Words and perform them (fill the prescription, or grant your petition), you take the medicine by declaring the promise over yourself or another, My Word is like medicine to all your flesh, or you enforce the judgment in your favor, and the result manifests in the physical.
Well, My Word is more than a prescription, it is like going to your medicine cabinet and just finding which ointment or medication to apply already there, but you have to apply it for you to have the result.
You just need to go get the medicine. My Words are life to those who find them and healing (medicine) to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:22.
You have to understand, even though you are forgiven and healed in My Son, there is still sin and illness in the world the way it is now, being that the dominion lease Adam gave Satan is not quite up yet, so even though you are saved by taking My Son as Lord, there is still sin and sickness in the world, BUT you have the remedy, the antidote for both. If, through the weakness of the flesh, you should give in to sin, though I would prefer that you abide in My Word so that you do not do so, for by grace you can be its master, you have an advocate, Jesus Christ, the righteous one, so you call in the Blood and the forgiveness that Jesus won for you and I apply it to cleanse you of all unrighteousness. In the same way, when sickness, financial lack, or any other evil thing that is still in the world attacks, then you have to call in the healing and the Body of My Son that was given for you, or the provision and prosperity that He became poor so that you could become rich by His poverty, or any other promise you find written in My Word, for when you are in Jesus, all My many magnificent promises are “yes” to you, you only need to “amen” them. Which, if you read the Hebrew, is what Abraham did. He “amened” My promises and I credited it to him as righteousness. And, despite the impossibility in the natural, he and Sarah became parents when they were both around 100 years old.
It is written. The power is in My Word, and it works in your mouth. But you have to say it and nothing else if you are serious about getting the result that you are calling in, because if you change the call to declare the sickness or lack again you cancel the order. Receive the implanted Word it has the power to save you. How do you receive it? By the hand of your tongue, you call it in. You call those things existing that do not exist until they exist. And you do not draw back.
“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.” Hebrews 4:14. Do you see? You must hold fast to your confession (homologia: speaking the same, agreeing with My Word). You must keep saying only the promise that you are calling in. And the fact you must hold fast means that someone is trying to pull it away from you. The devil is prowling around like a roaring lion seeking whom he MAY devour. He wants to devour your promise. He wants to steal the Word from you so that you do not get the result to manifest. He wants to swallow your healing and keep you sick. He wants to swallow your prosperity and keep you poor. He wants to swallow your children, your spouse, your assignment—and he can do it if you speak about how your children, your spouse, or others close to you are rebellious, hopeless, sinners, no good, and give you problems. He can do it if you speak about how sick you are and I do not appear to be healing you. If he can just steal the Word from your mouth and make you say the evil instead, he has swallowed your promise. Why should you let him steal from you, even your life itself? RESIST HIM. Submit to My Word, say nothing else, resist the devil, and he has to flee from you.
And I have given you a great High Priest of your confession to help you with this. For He is able to understand your weakness, for He was tempted in every way you are but never sinned. So come with confidence.
“Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. But My righteous one shall live by faith; and if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him. But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul.” Hebrews 10:35-39. Do you see? Do not throw away your confidence. It takes faith and patience to obtain the promise. But it will come if you just don’t give up. Your faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Your faith combined with My promises is dynamite and add thanksgiving as the catalyst and you will be amazed. I am the God of wonders.
I love you. Hold fast to your confession and keep calling in the results you find in My Word. Like Abraham, maybe you need to call yourself by a new name, “Healed, forgiven, strong, and BLESSED.”
