Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; He pardons all your iniquities, He heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Today we are continuing our series “Forget Not ALL His benefits” with Life Lesson No. 2: “He heals all your diseases.” Psalm 103:3.
To receive My benefits you must come to Me. And there is only one way to Me, and that is Jesus. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6. There is no other way but the new and living way, but it is a direct way all prepared for you in advance by the finished work of Jesus. He finished the work I gave Him to do. And it was all for your benefit. And no one who comes to Him will He ever reject. He has given the invitation, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30. How do you come and how do you learn and how do you find rest? By having a desire for My Words. “Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore my soul observes them. The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. I opened my mouth wide and panted, for I longed for Your commandments. Turn to me and be gracious to me, after Your manner with those who love Your name. Establish my footsteps in Your Word.” Psalm 119:129-133.
Jesus told you, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.” John 14:24. You draw close to Me by My Word. I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from your destructions. And that is how you get healed, by My Word. Faith comes by hearing My Word and healing comes by faith. The multitudes came to Jesus to hear and be healed. “But the news about Him was spreading even farther, and large crowds were gathering to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses.” Luke 5:15.
Again, the first step to receiving all my benefits is to come to Me in faith. The prodigal son left his father and he finally ended up alone and in dire lack. Nothing happened to alleviate his situation as long as he refused to accept the benefits of his father’s house. But one day he came to his senses and realized it was much better with his father than in the realm in which he was living. So he broke free from the darkness and started to return and come to his father. As he came to draw close to the father the father ran to come to him. Draw close to Me, I draw close to you. And if you watch the father, the minute the son’s heart turned to him, he did not wait for the son to arrive where the father was, the father ran to meet and embrace him, to clothe him, and to offer the sacrifice for him (fatted calf). And by coming to the father, the son received all the benefits: he was forgiven, healed, redeemed from the pit, surrounded with love and compassion, days filled with good things, and his youthful relationship renewed as the father’s younger son. Luke 15:11-24. And he came humbly, acknowledging his sins and not blaming another, and he received great grace. I resist the proud but give grace to the humble.
It is better not to leave Me, for you are with Me always and everything I have is yours, but you can always return to My house, for you who believe are My house. And the more you abide in My Word and My Word abides in you the more of Me you will experience and the benefits will never cease. For I give My Spirit to those who obey My Word.
Moses asked Me for My Name. I told him My covenant Name for My people. My memorial for all generations. It is four Hebrew letters, יהוה, Yod Hey Vav Hey, YHWH, Yahweh, you also see it transliterated as Jehovah, which is the four letters pronounced using the vowels from Adonai. My Name combines three tenses of they Hebrew word “to be,” that is, past, present and future, I AM. And I kept unveiling more of My Name to him and other prophets by adding adjectives as titles of who I AM, was and will be. When I led them out of Egypt and redeemed them from slavery as I fought their battle for them, I gave them one such revelation. I am YHWH (יהוה) Rophekah (רֹפְאֶֽךָ). I Am, I was, I will be your healer. YOUR healer. Never say disease, illness or pain is from Me, IT IS NOT. I call it the curse. I am the one who blesses you, from the beginning. I never curse YOU. There is another who deals in curses. Do no join with his voice. To you it should be he voice of the stranger.
I myself will look after My sheep, I will feed My flock and I will lead them to rest. I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken and heal and strengthen the sick. Ezekiel 34:15-16. And I have done this by raising from the dead the great good Shepherd of the sheep. “Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21.
And when you see Jesus, you are seeing Me, He is My exact representation before you. And He healed all who came to Him for healing. And He is the same yesterday and today and forever, for I have given Him My Name, the One who is, who was and is to come. But how did Jesus heal? “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38. The power of the Holy Spirit, the anointing, My presence heals. Sickness, disease, lack, and darkness cannot stay in My presence. In Me is power to heal and there is no darkness in Me. And I was in Jesus and He was in Me. How? By our Spirit. The Holy Spirit and now He is in you, My promise to you poured out on and breathed into you by Jesus.
Do you recall how the healings happened with Jesus as He walked as one like you? “One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.” Luke 5:17. And do you recall when the woman with the issue of blood for twelve years was healed? She touched the tassel on his cloak and healing power entered her. The anointing. The Holy Spirit. “After hearing about Jesus, she came up in the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak. For she was saying, “If I just touch His garments, I will be saved.” Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction. Immediately Jesus, perceiving in Himself that the power proceeding from Him had gone forth, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My garments?” And His disciples said to Him, “You see the crowd pressing in on You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’” And He looked around to see the woman who had done this. But the woman fearing and trembling, aware of what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace and be healed of your affliction.” Mark 5:28-34. The Power had gone out from Him, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead and now is in you who have received Jesus as Lord.
My servant Paul prayed you would know the power at work in you, “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 1:18-20. And he closed with: “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21.
Within your spirit is the healer, the healing power of the Godhead bodily so that you can be filled with all My fullness. Ephesians 3:19. Your body is a temple of My Spirit, unclean spirits must depart at your rebuke when you believe in the Name of My Son, and the sick you lay your hands on will recover. Why? Jesus won it for you by the stripes He bore on His back the day He gave His life for you. “Surely our sickness and infirmities He Himself bore, and our pains He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5. And I witness to again and again. In the passage about the woman with the issue of blood that touched Jesus and received the power of healing into her body, Jesus explained to her: “Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace and be healed of your affliction.” Mark 5:34. In the Greek language, in which this passage was written, the word translated “affliction” is μάστιγός, which is transliterated “mastigo” and it means a scourging with a whip, it is the word I use in John 19:1 when I say that Pilate had Jesus scourged. Just as My prophet Isaiah had foretold that by His bloody scourging you are healed. Isaiah 53:5. And My servant Peter repeats it again: “And He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds (mólóps in Greek which means a stripe left on the body by scourging) you were healed. For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.” 1 Peter 2:24-25. Jesus bore the scourge of sickness, disease, infirmity, and pain on His own back so that you would not have to bear it. He took your burden so that for you it is light. “This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: ‘He Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases.’” Matthew 8:17.
And if you look at the prophecies of Isaiah and the witness of Peter, you see that He was not just bearing your sicknesses, diseases and pains but also all your sins, iniquities, shame, and guilt on that same day at Golgotha. Which is easier to say, “You are healed of your infirmity or your sins are forgiven?” They both were won for you by Jesus the same day that He gave His life in your place to redeem you from the curse and give you His righteousness, His health, His wealth, and His Spirit.
Have no fear of sickness, disease, or any other attack of the evil one. Greater is He who is in YOU than he who is in the worldly. Your healing was bought and paid for by the precious blood of My Son. And by receiving Him as Lord, you have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit to a new creation in Christ with a new Father on your spiritual birth certificate. And your spirit has been made alive to Me and dead to sin. And Jesus poured in the anointing oil of the Holy Spirit and lit your lamp. And the spirit of a man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all the inward parts to heal, restore, mend, and renew. My Word is living and working, sharper than two-mouthed sword, laser light or surgical tool, piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12. Release the light of the resurrection power of My Spirit and let Him go through all your inward parts. “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:11.
Remember Jesus showed you how to do it. You rebuke the spirit of infirmity or whatever disease or fever it is and cast it out and then you lay your hand upon the place or take the person by the hand and pray the prayer of faith—restoration and perfect mending, healing, replacing of whatever damage the spirit of infirmity, cancer, or any other disease or deformity was caused by the activity and oppression of the devil. You rebuke evil and cast out demons using the authority Jesus gave you who believe in His Name and then ask for good things such as healing and restoration, knowing that Jesus won them for you already, from Me. Mark 11:22-24. All done in the spirit of faith—believe in your heart and speak with your mouth.
I love you. Do not forget all My benefits for they are yours. I forgive all your sins and heal all your ills and pains. It is yours already in Jesus and He put in you the power that heals. It is not outside you; it is in your heart and in your mouth. Resurrection Power is the anointing oil with which Jesus has filled your lamp. Fan it into flame.
