I, the LORD, am your healer. Exodus 15:26.
“These signs will accompany those who have believed in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18.
And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
And as you go, proclaim, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give. Matthew 10:7-8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
I AM, I WAS, AND I WILL BE your healer. יהוה רֹפְאֶֽךָ Yahweh Ropheka. Just two words in Hebrew say it all. Healing comes from Me. And, as Jesus defined it, it is the children’s bread. Mark 7:27. “But you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst.” Exodus 23:25. Sickness, disease, death are still in the world, for My Son has not returned to break the seals of the title deed (the fee interest) yet, for Adam’s leasehold is still in force, which he assigned to the devil, but though you are in this curse-filled world you are not of the world. You who believe are citizens and children of another Kingdom. And you are bringing its benefits into the earth. “Your Kingdom come; Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” And My Will is to heal. And you can know it always is My Will and will never change for I have revealed My Name. The LORD your healer. And I am the same yesterday, today and forever. And in Jesus I sealed it by a second witness that My Will is, was, and always will be to heal you. “Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.” Matthew 9:35.
Way too many believers are sick and dying. 1 Corinthians 11:30. This ought not to be. Believers should be prospering and in good health, even as their souls prosper, by walking in the truth. 3 John 1:2. You should stand out among the nations as the people that I have blessed. Isaiah 61:9.
So today we start a new series, “How to Receive and Administer Healing,” with Life Lesson No. 1: “The LORD Your Healer.” There are many faucets of administering healing but they all rest in abiding in Me in peace by knowing Me as the LORD who heals you. Before you have faith in healing, you must know the Healer, in fact, you must first know that you even have a Healer. And you have to know who I am and how I heal. You must know My Name. So today I will introduce you to the LORD your Healer.
In Hebrew, the verb “to heal” is רָפָא which is transliterated as “rapha.” The verb to relax is רָפָה, which is transliterated “raphah,” and when spoken both sound about the same. They are two different words but each gives you an insight into the other. Rapha is to heal (to mend) and raphah is to relax so you see why I tell you not to be anxious about anything but in everything to cast all your care on Me. And both verbs share the letter resh (ר) and the letter pey (פ). The letter “resh” (ראשׁ) has a pictogram of a man’s head, and it means “head,” and the letter “pey” (פֶּה) has the pictogram of a mouth and it means “mouth.” So you see that healing and relaxing have to do with what you are thinking (head) and what you are speaking (mouth). And the foundation you must lay all this on and rest in is knowing that I am with you to heal you. No question about this. When the leper, stated to Jesus, “If you Will to do so, you can cure Me.” Jesus replied with no hesitation, “I do will it.” And then he healed him. Hearing and seeing Jesus, you hear and see Me, and that is My answer for all time and for all people. I will that you be healed. I desire that you prosper and be in good health. But there is a way I do that that you must participate in if you desire to have the promised result.
Today I am focusing on My Name as the LORD your healer. I AM, I WAS, and I WILL BE (יהוה) the one who heals you. It is My nature to heal for I am love and light, and love and light heal. Even secular scientists and psychologists are coming to know that.
You will remember that when people were healed during the time My Son walked as one of you on the earth, when a healing took place at His hands, people would speak of My glory. “Jesus said to the paralytic—“I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home.” Immediately he got up before them, and picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God. They were all struck with astonishment and began glorifying God; and they were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen remarkable things today.” Luke 5:24-26.
Healing is a manifestation of My glory.
My glory can be defined as My goodness, My presence and My power. Jesus is My glory manifest. “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38. When Moses asked to see My glory, I told him I would show him My goodness. In My goodness you see My character, I delight in doing good to you, blessing you, healing you, prospering you, saving you, protecting you, leading you, and giving you eternal life. You see this in the life, death, resurrection, ascension, and pouring forth the promised Holy Spirit in My Son, for I was in Him reconciling you to Myself not accounting your sins to you but accounting them to Him. And He sealed you in Him into an everlasting Covenant with Me by His blood, and that Covenant includes forgiveness of your sins and healing, among many other benefits. Psalm 103:1-5.
Taste and see My goodness. And good means good with no shadow of evil in it. “Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.” James 1:16-17. Illness I tell you is a curse, healing and health is a blessing. And I am very specific that I want you to choose and speak blessing and not cursing. Woe to those who call good evil and evil good. Illness, poverty, and death are never good. I call them armed robbers.
And in My presence in you and among you by My Spirit, you see My personal care for you. Cast all your cares upon Me because I care for you. I AM a very present help in time of trouble. I am with you and will never leave you or forsake you. And I am for you and not against you. I am on your side. “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32. Of course I will give you all good things as your good Father. I will heal you. And in Jesus, by His stripes and by His taking your sins, your sicknesses, and your pain upon Himself, you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24. It has been done. But you must know that to receive and administer healing with confidence and peace in your heart.
You must know and believe in the love I have for you to take healing for yourself and others from before My throne of grace. “We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:16-18. Without knowing your Healer you will never have the confident faith it takes to be healed. “For though I stooped to feed My child, they did not know that I was their healer.” Hosea 11:1-3 (“When Israel was a child I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son. The more I called them, the more they went from Me; they kept sacrificing to the Baals and burning incense to idols. Yet it is I who taught Ephraim to walk, I took them in My arms; but they did not know that I healed them.”)
And I am grieved to say that many today do not know that I am their healer. In fact, the generation of Israelites I redeemed out of slavery the night of the Passover had such fear of death that it kept them out of the promised land and cut their lives short prematurely. But now Jesus has manifested My plan and My purpose of blessing, healing, prosperity for each of you and He has paid the price by His own blood so you can have those things: “Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.” Hebrews 2:14-15.
Fear makes you a slave, but faith frees you. If you continue in My Word you are truly My disciples and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. And the freest people are those who know My Name, those who are in Covenant with Me in Jesus. “Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My Name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With a long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16. Salvation. Yeshuah. Jesus. The only Name given among men by which you must be saved. And Jesus and I are One with My Spirit and you can be One with us and in us too. My Name is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe, saved, and delivered. Everyone who calls on My Name will be saved. David sang, “I will bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.” Psalm 138:2. ALL My Name- The LORD your healer, the LORD your provider, the LORD your righteousness, the LORD your Shepherd, the LORD your victory, and so many more, all of which are manifested in Jesus, “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world.” John 17:6. And I am your Father. Jesus taught you to call Me “Father,” just as He did. While Jesus was on earth as one of you, He kept you in My Name which I gave Him. Jesus prayed to Me the night He was betrayed, “I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are.” John 17:11. I keep you. Where? In the strong tower of My Name.
Sickness, poverty, death came into the world because of sin and a change of jurisdictions by Adam to another domain. The devil steals, kills, and destroys. But the good news is My glory has risen on you in the Son of righteousness with healing in His wings. So arise, shine; like bright luminaries on the world for your light has come, and My glory has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but Jesus has risen and His glory will appear upon you. Isaiah 60:1-2. For I have anointed Him to heal you and set you free. Isaiah 61:1-2.
The wages of sin is death and that is what brought sickness into the world. Do you remember when the disciples asked Jesus about the man born blind whether it was his sin or that of his parents that had made him blind? Do you remember what Jesus answered? “It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but so that the works of God might be displayed (phaneroó: to make visible, make clear) in him.” John 9:2-3. What was that work? Jesus came to undo the works of the devil, what the devil stole Jesus came to restore. He restored what He did not steal. Psalm 69:4. The devil meant it for your harm when you gave in to him, beginning with Eve and Adam down to this day to all who will give him place, but I turn it into your good when you turn to Me and become alive to Me and dead to sin in Jesus. Remember what Joseph said to his brothers who had sold him into slavery and stole and destroyed his life for thirteen years? “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.” Genesis 50:20. Paul understood, he wrote, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28. Do you know that? If you do, you know the LORD your healer and the devil will never be able to harm you with sickness again. You will be able to receive and administer healing because now I can teach you how.
And I think now you see what Jesus meant when Martha and Mary sent word to Him about their sick brother, Lazarus, saying, “Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.” And His response was, “This sickness is not to end in death, but for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified by it.” John 11:3-4. My goodness, presence and power was to be displayed in healing. And what happened when He came to the tomb of Lazarus after He had declared to the grieving Martha that He was the resurrection and the life? He told them to roll away the stone closing the tomb, but Martha protested that her brother had been dead for four days. Jesus then answered her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” John 11:40. They then removed the stone and Jesus called Lazarus out. And he came. Alive, healed, and whole. My glory had come and the work of the devil was undone.
There is a protocol to healing. And over this series of life lessons, I, the LORD your healer, will show you how I heal. It begins with My Name and knowing Me, and then learning (renewing your mind to) how healing comes—I send My Word to heal you, and you must learn how you receive that Word to release healing by faith, which comes by hearing and speaking, and then how the anointing and the resurrection power of the Spirit once that anointing has lit the lamp of your spirit travels in you and through you to others to release healing. And, of course, the gifts of the Spirit: faith and gifts of healing are the superchargers once you become a superconductor by turning your clay vessel into a vessel of honor useful to the work of the Master, the LORD your healer. So we still have much territory to cover over the following days. Are you ready? Then open your ears and do not think you know all this already. When you think you know something you really never knew it as you ought, for there is always more, grace on top of grace, it never stops growing into larger revelation and vistas of what I have prepared for those who love Me. “But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:4-7.
I love you. Pray that you not be put to the test, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Walk in the light so I can heal you. Do you know My Name? Yes, Yahweh Ropheka.
