Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the LORD (יהוה) our Maker (עֹשֵֽׂנוּ) (YHWH Osenu). For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Psalm 95:6-7.
That you have forgotten the LORD (יהוה) your Maker (עֹשֶׂ֗ךָ), Who stretched out the heavens And laid the foundations of the earth, That you fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, as he makes ready to destroy? But where is the fury of the oppressor? Isaiah 51:13.
Let Israel be glad in his Maker (עֹשָׂ֑יו); let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King. Psalm 149:2.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהם) says:
You are the clay, I am the potter, you are all the work of My hands. My workmanship. I made you, formed you, and breathed My own breath into you. And now each one of you, I form you in your mother’s womb. You are fearfully wonderfully made by a fearfully wonderful LORD and Creator. My eyes watch each moment of your existence and I planned you and knew you before one of your days yet had come to be. I watch over you with lovingkindness and tender mercy. I hate nothing that I have made. You are Mine. And that is forever. I care for you.
And I am working until now and My Son is working as well. He came to serve you, not to be served, and He is still the same. I will complete the good work I have begun in you, for I, the LORD, am your Maker. And as we continue My instructions on knowing Me by knowing My Name we have come to Life Lesson No. 24: “YHWH Osenu, the LORD (יהוה) our Maker (עֹשֵֽׂנוּ).” You are all the work of My hands.
Every life that has come into being or will come into being is Mine, just as the Heavens and the earth are Mine, for I am the maker of Heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them and I am LORD of all. But I gave you dominion over the earth and all the works of My hands thereon. Mine are the Highest Heavens but the earth I have given to the children of men. It is a leasehold interest and I still own the fee simple but while the lease is still running, the earth is yours.
What does it mean to you that I AM the LORD your Maker? It means you belong, it means you are known, it means you are planned, it means you are loved, it means you have purpose and place. But above all it means you are not alone and never will be. I will never leave you or forsake you.
You did not evolve and you are not here on this earth by accident. You have a Maker who is the everlasting, ever loving, and ever living God, who is LORD of all the earth and the creator of the universe and beyond. Your Maker is the Most High and there is no other God but Me, there is no one higher than Myself.
I conceived you in Myself before one of your days existed. I knew you before I formed you. I called you by name. I know when you sit and when you stand. I know your thoughts from afar. I am intimately acquainted with all your ways. Even before there is a word on your tongue, I know the whole of it. Psalm 139:1-4. I formed your inward parts; I wove you in your mother’s womb. Your frame, your very bones, were not hidden from Me when I formed you in the secret place, you are skillfully wrought. My eyes saw you as an embryo; and in My book were all written the days that were ordained for you when there was not one of them. Psalm 139:13-16. I made you, planned you, ordained you for such a time as this. You are here because I willed you so to be, for the praise of My glory, a glory you had with Me before the world began.
When something goes wrong in your body, that I am your Maker tells you that I know just how it works and how to fix it. I can mold you anew, restore, and give you new parts. When you feel that no one understands you, that I am your Maker tells you that I understand you and in fact even know the deepest longings and calling in you better than you do. When you do not know how to solve something, that I am your Maker means I have already made a solution for it. And when another person is coming against you, that I am your Maker means I understand that person too and can change their heart. And when you do not even know exactly what the longings in your heart are speaking, that I am your Maker means that I know and fulfill the desires of your heart even when you have not been able to give them substance or express them. That I am your Maker means I have every right to protect and defend you from harm.
I know your heart and that is how I forgive so readily. I know your weaknesses and in those areas I give you more grace.
You may be wondering how I made YOU and why I made YOU. I made you by My Word and I made you for Jesus Christ. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.” John 1:1-5. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among you and He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—ALL THINGS HAVE BEEN CREATED THROUGH HIM AND FOR HIM. Colossians 1:15-16.
I chose you in Him before the foundation of the world, that you would be holy and blameless before Me. In love I preordained you to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Myself, according to the kind intention of My will, to the praise of the glory of My grace, which I freely bestowed on you in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:4-6. For you are My workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which I prepared beforehand so that you would walk in them. Nothing makes Me happier than to see you walking in the truth, and that is why I give you My Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, to guide you to all truth and to lead you on the path of life.
You are created in My image and according to My likeness and I have told you that it is not good for man to be alone, he needs a helper, someone with whom he has a close union, a bond of trust and love. And to fill that need I separated the male from the female, and pulled the bride out of man. And when I pulled the female (isha) out of the male (ish), the two then came back together as unique but one.
It was not good for Me to be alone either. So I made the first Adam, but he forgot the LORD his maker and turned to another ruler and walked out of My light to walk in the realm of darkness without hope and without Me in the world. So I sent My Son, the last Adam, to seek a bride, the Church, to supply Me with a beautiful family of children of light. I pulled the church out of His pierced heart as the blood and water flowed out—a glorious church without spot or wrinkle that rose up glorious in the beauty of holiness from the ashes of the burnt offering, My Son. As far as the east is from the west so far have I removed your transgressions from you. Just as a father has compassion on his children, so I have compassion on those who honor Me. For I know your frame; I am mindful that you are but dust. But My lovingkindness is from everlasting to everlasting on those who honor Me. Psalm 103:12-17. I see and love in you what I see and love in Christ. I created you in Christ Jesus before the world began. I want the same oneness with you that I had with Jesus, My beloved Son, so that you can pray to Me the same words with Him, “I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.” John 17:4-5.
I would like to sum up My reasons for creation in the words of a song. For I created all that I created for you. I am your Maker, you did not make yourself and I made you to be My family who would reign with Me and do kingdom assignments with Me, beginning now through all eternity. I want you to all know Me from the least to the greatest. I made you for fellowship. And isn’t that really what everyone is looking for? And I invite you into fellowship with Me and with My Son and with My Holy Spirit. And that is what YHWH Osenu is all about. A father wants a relationship of fellowship over time with the son he has begotten.

From eternity to eternity, I reign supreme, My thoughts are high and lofty yet I had a dream, I dreamt of a family to be all My own, My children, in My image, with a most special home!
The first step of My plan was to give you the light, so I spoke it: “light be” and it shone forth so bright, My spirit, He hovered, as I spoke My command and all things were created by My Mighty Hand.
On each of six days I did speak into being a world of abundance and goodness supreme, a home for the family that I did create, a world, filled with wonder, in which you partake.
On the sixth day of creation, I formed the man from the clay of the earth by the work of My Hand and into his nostrils life’s breath I did blow and blessed him with dominion wherever he’d go.
Empowered to prosper on the earth he would reign, blessed to be fruitful and all nature to tame and each evening we met in the cool of the day together, in the Garden, to hear what he’d say.
I saw it was not good for the man to be alone, so I made the woman from his rib bone, a companion, so lovely, to walk by his side, the beginning of My family, My joy and My pride!
Of one tree of the garden, I counseled not eat, for its fruit would bring death and most surely defeat, but an angel of light, whom I sent to serve man, he turned from his mission to foil My plan.
He first went to the woman with his cunning plan, of the fruit she partook and so did the man, and the Glory it left them, so naked they be, My children, in the Garden, were no longer free.
The act of high treason, it now was complete. The man and the woman faced eternal defeat. But I, in My great love, refused to let go of the family, I created, My goodness to show.
I promised a Savior who one day would come, clothed in your flesh, yet My Only Son, to ransom My family from the devil’s control My children, recreated, to reach My Heart’s goal.
For I made a family to be all My own, no one missing, no one broken, and no one alone, so one day to Heaven this earth joined will be, together, with your Father, for eternity.
I love you. Days without number, years without end, time immemorial with Me as your friend, I am you God, I am calling to YOU, come live in the light of My love. I made you for fellowship. Eternal fellowship. And I took all your sins away so that can happen. I am the LORD your Maker. Never forget that, rejoice in it. You have a maker who is Love. You are safe and saved in the hands of your Maker.
