But My righteous one shall live by faith; and if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10:38.
And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. Mark 11:22-25.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהם) says:
Faith is the connector to and conductor of My divine power into you and your life—the power to heal, the power to prosper, the power of restoration, the power of the Blood, resurrection power. Your faith provides the highway by which I enter the world.
Faith is a wonderful thing; it turns your life around. It fills your days with beauty and takes away your frown. It makes you into a prophet, telling the good news, that I AM here among you, making all things new!
Today we continue our series on how to live by faith with Life Lesson No. 3: How does faith work? I tell you that with faith only the size of a mustard seed you can move a mountain, so you may be wondering how you do that when it is pretty much impossible for one little person to move a mountain out of the way in the natural. But if you are living by faith, you are not walking by sight but by faith and that is when all things become possible and there is no limit on what we can do together by faith. If you have the faith, I have the power, and that is the winning combination. For what is the victory that overcomes the world? Even YOUR faith, for greater is He (Me) who is in you than he who is in the world. And I work by faith. So let Me show you how faith works.
I never look at things as impossible. Why? I created them, set them all up, sustain them and know just how they function. It is not a problem for Me to rearrange molecules or add or subtract some. I made everything you need for life and godliness in six days and gave it all to you to use as you see fit. There is nothing new under the sun. I am always making things new but I am doing it with what I already made. There do not need to be new elements, just how I combine and move them around, as well as timing, makes new things, and often things past finding out at the moment that you “discover,” that is, have revealed to you at the appropriate time. Electricity was always there but had not always been tapped into as it has been now, and you keep on finding out more, even superconductors, but they were always there. You cannot receive and use things if you are unaware of them, and that is the way many believers are with My Word, they fail to understand scripture and My power. Jesus said that about the religious leaders of His day and that was a very sad thing, because then they had no faith for the mighty deeds My Son was working in their midst and had none of them operating in their lives.
It is according to your faith that I can work in and with you.
I give you instructions on how it is best to do things, but you make the choice whether you will follow or not. It took Noah a hundred years to build the ark, but Moses constructed and erected the tabernacle in just nine months. But I gave him helpers whom I endowed with skill. He did not do it alone. It was a group faith project, and where two or three gather in My Name there is power, think about well over six hundred thousand, not counting the women and children and men under or over the age for battle, and you will get an idea of what Moses at his disposal. Happy the nation who has made Me their LORD and God and is united in following My laws.
So, how does faith work? I talk about the law of faith, the work of faith, and the spirit of faith. But you will find that all of these involve basically three steps: You know My Word (remember, faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word of Christ), you believe in your heart that what I say is true and that if I said it you have it (fully persuaded), and you speak it with YOUR mouth and not the contrary in any given situation. A good example of how not to put faith to work is the Israelites in the desert when they got to the border of the land I had promised them, a goodly land, flowing with milk and honey. They agreed with Me that it was a goodly land flowing with milk and honey and they knew I had promised it to them, BUT they did not believe My promise in their heart when they saw circumstances that looked adverse to what I had promised and saw themselves as weak and unable to conquer. So what did they do? The spoke stout against My Words and said I had deceived them and brought them there to be defeated and die. They declared they would rather die in the desert. And that is what they did. Two of them, however, were of a different spirit, the spirit of faith, and they put faith to work and they took the Promised Land and enjoyed it—they were Joshua and Caleb. They knew My promise, they believed it as certain in their hearts, and they spoke conquest in agreement with Me. And that was what they did. And that is basically how faith works.
Believe what you say will happen and you will only speak what you want to happen. Think about that next time you are ready to say what you don’t want.
Please also be aware that faith works by love. And this works two ways. You must know and believe in the love I have for you to have faith for miracles of favor in your life. And you must forgive others for the highway of faith to have no hindrances in your life. Selfish faith in an unforgiving heart does not give Me much room to enter and also gets you easily angered with Me and others if what you want you do not get immediately. Also you must have compassion for others to even want to approach Me in faith to obtain mighty works in their lives with My power working through you. Jesus had compassion on the people in the crowds for they were like sheep without a shepherd. His faith had to help their lack of it. And if you do not harden your heart but seek His help in this, He can help you with His faith where yours is deficient. He is the author and finisher of your faith if you will keep your eyes on Him.
Jesus told you how faith works and gave you the exact steps to make it work in your life, but before going through the steps with you, which I will, I would like to say that the greatest revelation of Myself is Jesus Christ. The most precious treasure of all is Jesus Christ because in Him you have forgiveness of your sins which opens the door to every spiritual blessing in Heaven to you. All My many magnificent promises are “YES” to you in Him because in Him I have made you righteous, holy, and blameless. The revelation of My Names is all in Jesus, Yeshuah, for He is salvation. I did not send My Son into the world to condemn you but to save you.
My Kingdom is only open to the righteous and you could never achieve righteousness on your own without Jesus. That is why Jesus explained to Nicodemus that you must be born again from above to enter, or even see, the Kingdom. There is no other way you can get rid of your sins and stand holy, blameless and beyond reproach before Me.
Do you know when My Son taught his disciples how faith works? Let us go to the incident of the fig tree that withered up from the roots when Jesus spoke to it and said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” Mark 11:14. You will notice He spoke to the tree itself. He also spoke to wind, waves, fevers, and spirits of infirmity and other impediments, and they obeyed. And he asked the disciples where their faith was that they had not done the same.
When Peter showed amazement that the tree had withered up, Jesus taught the disciples a lesson on how faith works. And this is what He said to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions.” Mark 11:22-25.
Here are the steps of how faith works:
1. “Have faith in God.” It all starts here. You cannot have faith for just whatever you decide looks good to you, especially if it destructive to you or others and is contrary to My commandments. Remember faith works by love and love does not harm the neighbor. Furthermore, even in the worldly realm, you cannot have faith that someone is going to do something for you if they never told you they would. That may sound simplistic but it is true in the spiritual realm as well. Before you go further in what you want to happen, be sure you have found a witness to it in My Word, that is, you have found a promise such as healing, provision, deliverance, refuge, protection, and I could go on as I address every subject and more in My Word that you will ever need for a solution to anything in your life. Make sure you are standing on the rock of My Word before you build a house there, so to speak. And before you speak out you should know that you have My divine power backing it, which you can be sure of if you had a rhema word on it and found it in the logos. (If that is not something you understand, read Life Lesson No. 3 again.) Be fully persuaded like Abraham that what I promise I am able to perform. And you will recall, both he and Sarah laughed when they first heard My promise of a son in their old age, so do not worry if you head keeps doubting if your heart is right.
2. “Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.” Here comes the speaking part and the rebuking part. The spirit of faith, as well as the law of faith and the obedience of faith, have to do with speaking the result by faith before it manifests in the physical realm. The next step will address receiving good things, step # 3, but on this step we are discussing how to remove things that are in your way and are not from Me. This would include rebuking fevers and calming storms, casting out demons and taking back territory from the devil. It would include getting back what he has stolen from you or others, even from your country, and any obstacles he is putting in your way, including plagues and earthquakes, etc. Jesus would speak peace to storms and rebuke fevers, cast out demons with a simple command, and wither up fig trees. He did it with very few words and you can to likewise. “Be taken up and cast in the sea.” Even a huge mountain disappears from sight in the sea. And don’t forget about molecules and miracles. If the molecules are not packed as a solid but loosen up to the flowing state of a liquid, the mountain would go into the sea, and if the molecules loosened up even more, the mountain would turn into a gas, a vapor that disappears. Your problem may not be so big as your thoughts. It may be like the mist in the morning sun, for the sun of justice with His healing rays is dawning on you. Each morning My mercies are new.
3. “Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.” This is the heart of how faith works to bring all My promises into your life. To receive all of the good things and perfect gifts Christ won for you, you must believe that everything I have promised you in My Word is ALREADY IN YOUR HEAVENLY ACCOUNT AND AVAILABLE TO YOU NOW. You who are in Christ, I have blessed you with EVERY spiritual blessing in Heaven. It has been deposited in your account that I keep in Heaven for you so that no thief can still it or moth or rust corrode it. You come with confidence to My throne of grace and make withdrawals is by faith for what you need at the moment. Jesus emptied Himself and gave you everything He has and the Holy Spirit discloses to you what I have freely given you. John 16; 1 Corinthians 2:. Make use of it and DO NOT BEG ME FOR WHAT I HAVE ALREADY GIVEN YOU BUT RECEIVE IT WITH PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING. And that is how you test your faith, are you overjoyed with you find a promise in My Word that fits your need to know it is already yours? Practice thanksgiving. Stay alert in prayer with thanksgiving.
4. “Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions.” And unforgiving heart is not open as a highway of faith along which I can travel. And if you are refusing to forgive, I must use the same standard to measure what I give to you. Let Me explain. I tell you to forgive others as I have forgiven you in Christ. I forgave you by His shed blood. For you have redemption, the forgiveness of your sins, by His blood. But His redemption was for all people. Sin is no longer an issue to keep you out of Heaven for His sacrificed Himself once for all, but you must receive that forgiveness by receiving My gift of Jesus or you will die in your sins for you have refused the gift. But all sins have been atoned for in the one perfect sacrifice of Jesus. And that applies to people that have hurt you as well for you to forgive them by the blood of Jesus. He atoned to you as well as to Me. So if you say you cannot forgive another (ore even yourself) you are telling Me the blood is not enough and the standard you judge others with I must use back on you. So if the blood was not enough in your judgment, you are still in your sins and cannot receive My promises for My blessings are on the head of the righteous.
Be careful how you live. Walk by faith and not by sight. Forgive and live by faith. Faith in the One who loved you and gave Himself for you, and not only for you but for all men. Not your sins only, but all sins.
Faith speaks like Me. I speak in faith. I do not say words of defeat. I am always speaking victory. I laugh at defeat. And so should you for I AM with you and have grasped you with My strong right hand.
And consider this passage “By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained the testimony that he was righteous, God testifying about his gifts, and through faith, though he is dead, he still speaks.” Hebrews 11:4. Do you see? When you speak faith, faith speaks about you.
