For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age. Titus 2:11-12.

For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth came to be through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has revealed Him. John 1:17-18.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

I AM a gracious God, full of compassion and mercy, very slow to anger, and abounding with lovingkindness and truth. I AM a God of grace. Grace is My divine life flowing into you and My life is eternal. I will lavish that gracious life on you forever. My grace enables you to live godly, holy, sanctified lives of skill and ability that results in the fruit of righteousness. In Jesus, grace and truth met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Psalm 85:10.

Just as My Word is the innermost expression of who I AM so is My grace. And just as My Word took flesh in Jesus so did My grace. He is the total expression of who I AM. Love, grace, truth, and eternal life are in Him. And as we continue to explore the unfathomable riches of Christ, today’s Life Lesson is “Grace Appeared Bringing All Men Salvation.”

In the work of creation of the heavens and the earth, all began and was completed by My Word. My Word generates and is birthed deep within Me as the expression of who I AM. The Word is in Me and with Me and it is Me, produced in My being My Word becomes a Person of His own. All things came into being through My Word, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. John 1:1-4. And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among you and you saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from Me, full of grace and truth. John 1:14. And of His fullness you have all received, grace upon grace. For I gave the Law through Moses; but grace and truth came to be through Jesus Christ. No one has seen Me, for while you are in the flesh you cannot behold My majesty and stay in your earthly body and live; the only begotten God who is in My bosom has come forth and revealed Me for who I AM and shown you the way to Me. He has explained Me. John 1:16-18.

And now, in Jesus, My Word, My grace has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing you to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age. Titus 2:11-12. Learn from Him, for He is gentle and humble of heart, your souls will find rest, for His yoke is easy and His burden light. Matthew 11:28-30. And that is grace. It lifts the burden and destroys the yoke. Grace will endow you with My life and will set you free from sin and death. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14. For if by the transgression of the one (Adam), death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17.

By grace through faith you can now live your life through, in, and with Him to the praise of My glory. You can live a powerful sin-free life.

At the birth of John the Baptist, the one I sent as a witness, to prepare the people for the coming Messiah by testifying about the Light coming into the world to enlighten every man, so that all might believe through him, his father, Zechariah proclaimed, “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people.” Luke 1:68. He is prophesying of the grace that was coming and has come in the person of Jesus into the world and it all has to do with the fullness of redemption. It includes the forgiveness of sins, making you righteous with My own righteousness, and sanctification to holiness, for I have made Jesus sanctification for you and by the blood of His cross He reconciled you to Me; and although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Me holy and blameless and beyond reproach—if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven. Colossians 1:20-23.

You were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them you too all formerly lived in the lusts of your flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, that is, of the devil, even as the rest. You were not walking with Me.

But I, being rich in mercy, because of My great love with which I love you, even when you were dead in transgressions, made you alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved for that is who He is. And in Him, I raised you up with Him, and seated you with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come I might show the surpassing riches of My grace in kindness toward you in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is My gift to you in Jesus; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For you are My workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which I prepared beforehand so that you would enjoy them and your life would be filled with grace.

But there is MUCH MORE. I give you Jesus that you may live your life through Him. A beautiful gracious life, filled with My divine life, which is given you freely in Him. By this My love was manifested in you, that I sent My only begotten Son into the world so that you might live through Him. In this is love, not that you loved Me, but that I loved you and sent My Son to be the propitiation for your sins. And as I have loved you, so you too ought to love one another. When you love one another I abide in you, and My love is perfected in you. And I supply that love to you, My love, by pouring it into your heart by the gift of My Holy Spirit. And that is how you know that you are abiding in Me and I in you, by My Spirit that I have given you. I sent My Son to be your savior, not from afar, but dwelling right there with you as one of you, and now He lives in you by the Spirit I have given you.

When you confess Jesus as your Lord, I abide in you and you in Me. Have you come to know and believe in the love I have for you as manifested in Jesus? I AM love, and the one who abides in love abides in Me, and I abide in him. You who are in Jesus can have complete confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are you in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.

What am I trying to tell you here? Just this, one turn of your heart in My direction, one opening of the door to Me, and I am running to you as the father ran for the prodigal son, and I am embracing you and cleansing you in the blood of My Son and washing away all unrighteousness, and I am clothing you in Him—in the garments of Salvation and the robe of righteousness, and I am bringing you home to My house and giving you My Kingdom. And I am not receiving you as a servant but as My Son, in My Son made holy and blameless and without reproach, and I am seeing in you the perfection I see and love in Him as if it were your own. And that is grace. Grace brings you home in the Person of My Son but not as Him but as the unique YOU I made you to be glowing in the radiance of the perfection of the sinless saint washed clean in the blood of the Lamb. He became sin for you, taking all the wrong you ever did or will do into His account, and gave you His righteousness in exchange by taking your sins and the punishment due them as His own. Your sins are gone, not just forgiven, but gone, gone, gone. And if you have the faith to take hold of it and receive it and stand on it, He also took all your illnesses and pains. Yes, My grace, saved you from the wrath, which was the curse of the law as elaborated by Moses in Deuteronomy 28, and after reconciling you to Me, He SAVED you by His life. Romans 5:9-10. Remember that this is the Greek word “sózó (σῴζω),” which means to save, heal, preserve, and rescue.

Isn’t it time you received so great a salvation by faith and stopped begging Me for what you already have by grace? And grace comes to you in Jesus when you receive Him as your Lord. He is not just bringing you grace. He is grace. My gift to you.

I love you. You are with Me always and all I have is yours. Do not be like the elder son in the parable My Son told you of the prodigal son. He said the father never gave him anything, but everything the father had was his for the taking. He just never took what the father had freely given him. And it was not the father’s fault. Do you still not understand what you have in Jesus? Everything.

And I will finish with a song:

Verse 1:
How do you know you’re forgiven?
How do you know your sin’s gone?
How do you know we’re united?
How do you know nothing’s wrong?

Chorus:
He made peace through the Blood of the Cross!
Reconciling all the lost
to Himself through His Son, making us as one,
with the Father who loves us so!

Verse 2:
How do you know you’re accepted?
How do you know you’re His own?
How do you know you are welcome?
How can you come to His throne?

Chorus:
He made peace through the Blood of the Cross!
Reconciling all the lost
to Himself through His Son, making us as one,
with the Father who loves us so!

Verse 3:
How do you know you’re beloved?
How do you know you are blest?
How do you know He’s forgiven
All of the sins you’ve confessed?

Chorus:
He made peace through the Blood of the Cross!
Reconciling all the lost
to Himself through His Son, making us as one,
with the Father who loves us so!

Verse 4:
How do you know He’s rejoicing?
How do you know you’re His Song?
How do you know He’s delighted
To call you home through His Son?

Chorus:
He made peace through the Blood of the Cross!
Reconciling all the lost
to Himself through His Son, making us as one,
with the Father who loves us so!
With my Father who loves me so!
