I will meet there with the sons of Israel, and it shall be consecrated by My glory. Exodus 29:43.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity.” John 17:23.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

True worshippers live in the glory. When I first introduced Myself to Moses and told him My plans to redeem the Israelites out of the affliction of Egyptian slavery and give them the land flowing with milk and honey that I had promised Abraham for his descendants, he questioned me about My choice of him as the one to do this with Me. I replied giving him a sign to look for, “Certainly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall worship God at this mountain.” Exodus 3:12. And when I had freed My people with Moses from Pharaoh and the armies of Egypt, I led them to the mountain. And there I showed you much about worship. “Then Moses went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. The glory of the LORD rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days; and on the seventh day He called to Moses from the midst of the cloud. And to the eyes of the sons of Israel the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the mountain top. Moses entered the midst of the cloud as he went up to the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.” Exodus 24:15-18.

And what happened there in worship? I gave Moses the plans for the tabernacle. He received the plans, modeled on heavenly realities, that would allow Me to dwell with My people and travel the journey with them and go into the promised land with them to win them a land of their own. I gave him the plans for a place of worship where in the Holy of holies I would make My Will known for the children of Israel. In worship you rest in My glory and receive the plans for your life and the life of your people and your nation that will reach far into the future and bless all the world as part of My salvation story of glory.

And that is today’s life lesson in this series of how to live the beautiful life of worship: “Living in the Glory.”

There is no need any longer to go in and out of the glory or for the radiance on your face to fade as happened with Moses after he would return to the people after speaking with Me. No, now you are a temple of My Spirit and My dwelling place on earth and the glory cloud can hover in and over you just as it did in and over the tabernacle in the wilderness to lead the people to travel and to remain, to protect and to cover. For what happened once Moses erected the tabernacle for which I had given him the exact plans in worship? “Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Throughout all their journeys whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel would set out; but if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out until the day when it was taken up. For throughout all their journeys, the cloud of the LORD was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel.” Exodus 40:34-38. What I had showed him in worship when they came out of Egypt I provided all the supplies for, I provided the workers into whom My Spirit imparted skill for the task to create the reality from the plans, and I moved the hearts of My people to contribute to and be part of the project.

But it all began because Moses was willing to spend time with Me in worship. He gave Me a place for My glory to rest. And he honored Me with his worship. And it made him hungry for more. After that he wanted to see My glory and did not want to go anywhere if I were not present with him and the people. He delighted in Me and I delighted in him. I showed him great favor and he showed Me the same. Worship made him live an extraordinary life filled with My glory. And I describe him as the most humble man on the earth at that time and yet the wonders and miracles I did with him have never been equaled again.

I gave Moses the design and pattern for the vestments of the High Priest and his sons, and these were to be holy garments of glory and beauty so that so clothed they could minister unto Me. And I gave Moses instructions that the priests were to offer an unblemished lamb every morning and every evening with unleavened bread and a hin of wine before Me. It was to be a continual burnt offering throughout the generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before Me, where I would meet with the sons of Israel, and it would be consecrated by My glory. I consecrated the tent of meeting and the altar; I also consecrated Aaron and his sons to minister as priests to Me. I consecrate and set apart by My glory. Exodus 29:42-43.

And what did Jesus tell you the night before He died for you? He was leaving you in the world but you were not to be of the world so He asked Me to consecrate you in truth for My Word is truth. And then He set Himself apart for you, to be your great High Priest forever, to take you behind the veil into the glory of the Holy of holies, “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.” John 17:16-21. And then He gave you the glory, “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity.” John 17:23. And here is talking about worship, continual worship creating a flow of oneness between us. And He goes on to tell of My purpose to draw all into that glory with you by your witness, “So that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.” John 17:23. And then He called you into the link with Heaven of true worship, “Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” John 17:24. Worship is done in spirit and in truth, and in spirit you are seated with Christ at My right hand in Heaven. Ephesians 2:6. And the flow of the blessings of Heaven moves on the channel of worship. The glory is the place of worship. If you worship in Spirit and truth, the glory will come into your heart and the place you are situated at that moment. It will consecrate that place. And how did Jesus conclude that prayer for you? “O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:25. Revelation knowledge comes in worship. The revelation of My Names brings a partaking of the promise contained therein—the LORD your healer, the LORD your provider, the LORD your righteousness, the LORD who sanctifies you, the LORD of Hosts, and many more that are all manifested in Jesus and through Him in you. He manifests My Name to you. John 17:6. In seeing Him, you see Me. John 14:6. And now as He is so are you in the world. Is My Name being manifested to others through you? Is the glory lighting your life and shining in the dark world to draw all men to Me?

The Kingdom of Heaven has no need of sun, moon, or stars or any other light for My glory lights the entire Kingdom and its lamp is the Lamb. There is no darkness there at all. All is light, all is radiant, all is glory.

The first time I tell you that My glory appeared on earth it came as a prelude to the manna falling the next morning on the dewfall to feed My people the bread of heaven in the wilderness. And after that My glory came to them on Mt. Sinai as Moses and all the people heard My voice. Then the glory came to rest on Mt. Sinai as Moses spoke with Me. When the tabernacle was constructed, which took them ninth months to build a most magnificent and intricately designed dwelling place for Me allowing for the forgiveness of sins on the credit of the blood of lambs and other clean animals, My glory rested there. And in the promised land, My glory rested and filled the temple that Solomon built where the lamb continued to be sacrificed.

And when the true bread came down from Heaven for a man to eat and never die, that night over the fields of Bethlehem ( the name “Behlehem” means “house of bread” in Hebrew) when My Son came down as quietly as the dewfall, the sky opened and the glory of Heaven filled those fields with the radiance of Heaven and myriads of angels joined in celebration over the coming of the good news of Jesus, the Messiah, Savior and Lord to dwell among you and bring good will between Me and sinful man, who in Jesus would become holy, blameless, and righteous with My own righteousness. A worthy vessel of worship and the glory would rest on and in you!

And just as My glory brought the manna to the Israelites and ushered in the true bread of life to you, all you need for life and godliness, every supply you are seeking, is found in My glory. I supply for all your needs according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus. You want to be living in the glory so that your every need is supplied and answered. But you can only live there if you will discipline yourself to walk in worship, which is walking in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

Now I want you to take very seriously what I will now tell you.

Why do you spend your time on what is not bread? Think on things whereby you are fed. Regrets, anger, resentment, past mistakes, and mean words spoken to you do not feed you the right food. They do not feed your spirit. They feed your flesh so that it takes he upper hand. DO NOT EMPOWER YOUR FLESH. EMPOWER YOUR SPIRIT. If you are having trouble stopping these bitter thoughts and turning your thoughts to whatever is lovely, true, pure and worthy of honor, you must pray in tongues and ask for interpretation of the tongues as you are praying. I will instruct you in the way you should go in this way. PRAY IN THE SPIRIT. SING IN THE SPIRIT.

Feed your faith with My Word and feed your spirit with tongues. When you speak in tongues you are speaking with Me in mysteries and you are edifying yourself.

There are certain patterns of thinking that enlighten but there are also patterns of thinking that take you into darkness and if your eye is darkness, how deep that darkness will be unless you change that pattern. And you can. By worship. Job 33:22-30. Philippians 4:8-9.

Do not focus on the past or on the now, but only on Me, on My promise, on My Word. Like Abraham. Romans 4:19-22.

Now THIS IS HOW TO RUN YOUR LIFE, and I want you to get serious with yourself about this for too many of you are letting your minds get away with havoc on you:

Life is a joy, a gift from Me. Make it what it is meant to be. Treat it as sacred, as special, as an honor, as a privilege to handle with care, to keep a pure vessel holding what I have entrusted to your care.

It is time to let go of the junk—clear out your trunk! Clear the clutter that is making you sputter to open the door to hope. Therefore, behold, I will allure you, bring you into the wilderness and speak kindly to you, then I will give you vineyards from there (a fruitful life on the true vine and you will bring others there too, planting that vine in many places where you will walk with Me) and the valley of trouble as a door of hope and you will sing there as in he days of your youth, as in the day when I brought Israel up from the land of Egypt to the promised land. Hosea 2:14-15. And how did I bring Israel up from Egypt? I tell you in Psalm 105: “And He brought forth His people with JOY, His chosen ones with a JOYFUL SHOUT and JOYFUL SINGING.” Psalm 105:43. In worship. You go out with joy and are led forth with peace. Isaiah 55:12.

When you are in the wilderness you can go one of two ways, and the way you go determines if you will walk out My plan for your life and enjoy the promised land of blessing or if you will wander in the wilderness all your life and never take hold of your destiny. And you know what I am talking about for you see the example in the people I redeemed from Egypt to take to the promised land of abundance. Those who grumbled and set their minds on bitter thoughts of regret and blame never made it out of the wilderness. They never appreciated the life I gave them or the deliverance I worked for them or the riches I gave them nor the manna and spring water from the flinty rocks in the wilderness. They did not guard their hearts and did not keep their vessels (their bodies) pure. They had no regard for the holy or sacred. Do not take that road but many, even believers, are doing just that today.

But you who are hearing My voice, take the narrow way of praise, thanksgiving, and worship. It will take self-denial and taking up the cross of not giving in to your flesh and your emotions. Remember My apostle Paul told you that he did not pamper his flesh, he crucified it—not that he harmed his body in any way, he took good care of the vessel I gave him since he needed to be well and strong for the many assignments I gave him but he took every thought captive for Christ. He described his life when he told you, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:4-9. And do you know where Paul was when he wrote that? In prison. Which at that time was a very primitive and uncomfortable place.

If you want to live in the glory you must have a lifestyle of worship. And that requires diligence in watching your thoughts, words, and emotions. It is a life of guarding your heart and letting in only that which is of Me. But it is a life of joy unspeakable filled with glory for you are walking in the flow of Heaven, which is a rest.

I love you. Worship is a joy. Once you start this lifestyle you will never want to live any other way. In worship I show you the path to life, fullness of joy in My presence and the delights at My right hand forever. Glory.

Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him. Isaiah 30:18.
