Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Matthew 7:24-25.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
See as I see, speak as I speak, love as I love, and you will live as I do and I live in perfect joy and peace. In My presence is fullness of joy and My joy is your strength. With joy you will draw water from the springs of salvation, Yeshuah. This will give you the abundant life I sent Him to give you.
A life with Me is a life of love. A life without Me is a life without love. And a life without love is a life without joy. A life without joy is a life without peace. A life without peace is a life of torment, which is no life at all.
That is why Jesus, your good Shepherd, tells you that the devil comes as a thief to steal, kill, and destroy but Jesus came to lay down His life for His sheep to give you the abundant life of love, the life that is life indeed.
Many of you are loaded down by burdens from the past which have carried into the present. There are people you are still thinking negative and derogatory things about and keep going through them in your mind. And this keeps bringing the negative things of the past into the present and keeping you from relating well with them even though you often live with them now.
I tell you to forget what lies behind and go forward. If you put your hand to the plow and keep looking back you are not able to do your assignment in life, you will be unfit for it.
Are you tired of tormenting yourself with thoughts from the past of hurts, pains, wrong decisions, unwise choices, sins that ensnared you, things that took you off track and seem to have ruined your life, or the oppression of another family member over your life that continues and there seems no way out? Then listen up, I have good news for you. Today I give you a clean slate, your sins, offenses, wrong decisions, unwise choices, I remember no more and you can forget them as well for you have confessed them all to Me and I have taken care of them in Christ. So now let Me show you how to go forward to be planted in My house and flourish in My courts so that you are very fruitful, even in old age, full of sap and very green.
You and I are starting a building project together. And I am a master builder. I framed the world and all the universe by something you do not see but that has power to make things take form, it is My Word.
By faith we understand that the world and the universe with all its ages were prepared by the Word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:2.
Understand that every moment of your life you are building. Building what? The edifice of your life. Every thought, every word, every action is building the edifice of your life. Where you are and what you have now, even the people you are with, is because of what you have built in your life.
Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of and redeeming your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:15-17.
This time I want you to plan what you are building by using your thoughts and words as the tools that will enforce your actions and result in forming your life anew, and to ensure it is the beautiful life I planned for you from everlasting that you might enjoy it.
How would you build if this was the first day of your life? The first day of a building project? Where do you start a building? The answer is simple: the foundation.
Without a good, solid, correctly placed foundation, your building won’t last. It will start to sink, get crooked, and finally fall over if not reinforced or started anew. And a foundation will not be right without placing the cornerstone, the chief stone of the structure, where it should be. So let us consider the building project with that in mind.
A lasting building always begins with a strong, well-constructed foundation. The foundation is the lowest part of a structure and is responsible for: (i) supporting the entire weight of the building and distributing it evenly to the ground; (ii) preventing shifting, cracking, or collapse by providing stability, even in adverse conditions like floods or earthquakes; (iii) protecting against moisture and soil movement, which can otherwise damage the structure, and (iv) ensuring durability and resilience so the building remains safe and functional for generations.
If the foundation is poorly built, any defects will be magnified as the building rises, leading to structural problems that are difficult or impossible to fix later without tearing the building down and starting over.
Now consider the cornerstone. What is the cornerstone? I call Jesus the cornerstone of the foundation of the world and every lasting edifice that has been built, human and divine.
For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test [e]the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. 1 Corinthians 3:11-15.
The cornerstone is traditionally the first stone laid in the construction of a masonry foundation and the lowest stone of the structure. All other stones are set in reference to this stone, making it the key reference point for the entire building’s alignment and orientation. The cornerstone determines the position and direction of the entire structure. If it is not set correctly, the rest of the building will be misaligned.
The cornerstone is the largest and most solid stone, supporting the weight and integrity of the building. If it were removed or set poorly, the building could become unstable or collapse.
Jesus is the cornerstone and He is My Word, now do you understand the analogy He used for the hearing and doing of His Word as the foundation of your life?
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell and great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27.
To sum up, to build something that will last, you must start with a solid foundation. Within that foundation, the cornerstone is the critical first element, ensuring the building is properly aligned, stable, and symbolically marked as the true beginning of the structure.
And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is chief stone and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For this is contained in Scripture: “Behold, I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious corner stone, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.” This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve, “The stone which the builders rejected, this became the very corner stone,” and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed. 1 Peter 2:4-8.
So today let us start your foundation with the cornerstone as the first stone you place in your foundation and how do you do that? Same way I told Joshua:
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Joshua 1:8.
But now I will tell you the secret of a successful building project that will raise the true and lasting structure of the life you will love and everyone will be drawn to come to rest in the house of your life. Start you building project, put in the capstone, and make your foundation with THANKSGIVING! Build your life on GRATITUDE to Me for your life and all that I give you as building materials to overcome all storms and obstacles to make it a strong and beautiful place. The Voice of Thanksgiving brings WONDERS. And as you put down the cornerstone shout and sing for joy at all I have done for you in Christ Jesus and put your roots deep down into Him to draw up all you need for life and godliness.
Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. Who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the line on it? On what were its bases sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Job 38:4-7.
For Jesus is your Salvation.
“Instead of bronze I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver, and instead of wood, bronze, and instead of stones, iron. And I will make peace your administrators and righteousness your overseers. Violence will not be heard again in your land, nor devastation or destruction within your borders; but you will call your walls salvation, and your gates praise.” Isaiah 60:17-18.
You want your walls to be salvation and your grates praise but there is only one way you will get such a glorious result, you must renew your mind in My Word day and night, so you think like Me, talk life Me and enjoy your life with Me. Make My Word your mindset, your food, your seed, and your harvest.
And I think that is enough manna for you to gather today.
I love you. Do not just let your mind wander. Stop thinking about all your failures, faults, and worse yet, those of other people. You have a building project to complete. Keep you mind above to get teh plans. Grace to it, grace to it!
