How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your Word. Psalm 119:9.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
There is only one way for you to live at peace with yourself and enjoy your life, and that is to live pure. Put your mind above and not below. Never answer back in a rude way. Do not speak while you are angry. Never look at things that are less than I made you to be, such things will pull you into immoral and impure conduct. But above all, look at Me. I will show you the pure way. For I am pure.
“Your eyes are too pure to look upon evil, and You cannot look on wickedness.” Habakkuk 1:13. That is why I looked away from Jesus on the cross, He had become sin for you. “Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’; and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; depart from Me, all you evildoers.’” Luke 13:26-27. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8.
And that is today’s life lesson in what to do when Satan attacks: “Live pure.”
The devil plays a game of strategies, like chess, he seeks to maneuver you into places where he can trap you, that is, get you closed in so that you do not have a way to escape. But a pure person he cannot trap. A pure person takes him down. A pure person walks in the integrity of peace.
Have you ever noticed how the devil, through a person, will shoot an email or a remark at you and, even though you feel a check in your spirit from Me, something just seems to be pushing you into responding before you can think about it and you will shoot back and then you get trapped in escalating rude responses of anger? And then you have no peace in your soul. And the devil will then accuse you. And then you make it worse by justifying what you did in front of whoever is around that will listen to you. It is just because you are disturbed by it and when you are disturbed you will talk about what is disturbing you, but that is not the answer.
And there are a host of other ways the devil can trap you into defiling your soul. And a defiled soul will give you no peace. The only way to peace is to live pure, which is living free of the encumbrances of sin that entangle you.
Do not go running around telling other people about it, they cannot take your guilt away even if they tell you that you were justified in what you did or that everyone does things like that. That will not give you peace. THE ANSWER IS YOU BRING IT TO ME AND LET ME TELL YOU WHAT TO DO TO HAVE PEACE. And it could be as simple as an apology. If you will just sit down, take a deep breath, and listen to Me, I will tell you and then you will have peace that surpasses all understanding. Why? When you confess your sins to Me I am faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness. And I have the joy of doing this in all justice because I was in Christ reconciling the world to Myself by accounting all your sins to Him and His righteousness to you. And He is pure. And by His blood I have made you pure.
“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool. If you are willing and obey, you will eat the best of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword,” truly, the mouth of the LORD has spoken. Isaiah 1:18-19.
And that is the key, come to Me, let Me cleanse you in My Son, and then be willing to obey My Word and you will have a pure, holy life filled with peace and no regrets each day, all day, and for all your days.

Keep My Word constantly in your heart, like treasure, and you will not sin. It is when I speak My Word to you that peace and joy come into your heart. Why? My Word cleanses you.
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He purges it so that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the Word which I have spoken to you.” John 15:1-3.
“Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.” Ephesians 5:25-27.
I have made you the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. I am the lifter of your head. Sin lurks at the door but you can be its master. But you have to become skillful in playing the devil’s game of chess so that in any match you are the one with checkmate and are never trapped in any maneuver he makes. Take your captor captive.
“The peoples will take them along and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them as an inheritance in the land of the LORD as male servants and female servants; and they will take their captors captive and will rule over their oppressors.” Isaiah 14:2.
I have seated Jesus at My right hand, putting His enemies under His feet, and I have raised you up with Him and seated you with Him and in Him, and stretched out My scepter to you, saying “Rule in the midst of Your enemies.” Psalm 110:1-2; Ephesians 2:6, Ephesians 1:18-20.
The strategy of the devil is to keep you ignorant of My Word, he steals it from you for he knows that My people perish for lack of knowledge. I have rescued you from the realm of darkness and translated you into the Kingdom of My Beloved Son, and as He is so are you in this world. And He is pure. In Him I have given you My magnificent promises so that through them you become a partaker of My divine nature and the more knowledge and revelation you have in this the more virtuous you walk.
“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.” 1 Peter 1:1-11.
When you know how forgiven, loved, and cleansed you are in My Son—that by the blood of His cross I have made you holy and blameless and beyond reproach before Me, you see yourself in a whole new light. You see yourself in My marvelous light and you are so grateful that I have put away all your sins that you do not want to participate in the deeds of darkness a second time. You do not want to ever betray the One who loves you beyond love—enough to die for you so you could be pure and just like Me. If you are still seeing yourself as sinful and impure, and saying that, the devil had easily pull you into impurity and defile you since you have already condemned yourself to that manner of life. As you think in your mind, so you are. The Israelites saw themselves as grasshoppers so they never entered the Promised Land I had prepared for them. But their children did not see themselves that way, they followed Joshua and Caleb and saw themselves more than conquerors, well able to take possession of all I have promised them. And they did, and they took down every enemy in the Promised Land very quickly, they did not pause from the time they entered till they had conquered 31 kings. Joshua 12:24.
If you are still walking in impurity—that is, doing deeds of darkness such as lying, cheating, making rude comments, venting in anger, committing immoral acts with your body—you are blind or short-sighted, having forgotten your purification from your former sins. You are perishing for lack of knowledge.
What is the answer? Keep speaking of the sacrifice—of the unblemished, pure Lamb who loved you and gave Himself for you to make you spotless and pure as He is. If you keep this Word in your heart and in your mouth, that is how you will see yourself and you will not stumble, for you will be walking with Me in the Light. Jesus told you, “live on in My love.” Abide in His love and you will not sin.
“See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” 1 John 3:1-3.
I have translated you out of darkness into My own marvelous light, walk as children of light. And that means that everything you do or say you can bring into the light. And if you walk in the light, the blood of My Son continually cleanses you of all sin. 1 John 1:7.
But if you should be caught off guard and get caught in the sin which so easily entangles you, COME TO ME, do not hide from Me and let Me tell you what to do and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
“My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.” 1 John 2:1-2.
When you have experienced My love, goodness, and peace, you do not want to walk any other way but pure so that there is nothing hindering My fellowship with and work in you.
“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith” Hebrews 12:1-2.
Jesus, the unblemished Lamb, is, of course, your answer.
“To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.” Titus 1:15.
You must get very serious about living pure for three reasons, (1) So you can be at peace and enjoy your life; (2) So the devil cannot gain any access to your body, soul, mind, finances, and household; and (3) So I can perform My works in and through you as I did with Jesus by your being a pure vessel of honor.
Great peace have those who love My Word and keep it. Why? I keep in perfect peace (double shalom) those who keep their minds stayed on Me because they trust in Me. Trust in Me forever, in Me you have an everlasting rock on which to build your life. Isaiah 26:3-4. for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.”
If you want to be entrusted with greater responsibilities and works in the Kingdom, you must live pure so there are no hindrances to you gaining all.
“No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier. Also if anyone competes as an athlete, he [b]does not win the prize unless he competes according to the rules. The hard-working farmer ought to be the first to receive his share of the crops. Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.” 2 Timothy 2:4-7.
Avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness. Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Do not stay angry and let the sun go down on your anger, this will give the devil an opportunity to take you captive. Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see Me. See to it that no one comes short of My grace; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled. Hebrews 12:14-15.
Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels. The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will. 2 Timothy 2:20-26.
I love you. Live pure. This will make your life a joy and put you in the flow of Heaven.
