“And that all this assembly may know that the LORD does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the LORD’s and He will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:47.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Never fight alone, the battle is Mine. You go to face the enemy, but you go with Me and the battle is Mine. I sent Moses to free My people from slavery, but I went with Him and the battle was Mine. And it became a supernatural battle with signs and wonders beyond what had ever been seen in the earth. Joshua and the next generation of Israelites had to go in and take possession of the land I promised them, but they went with Me and the battle was Mine. I took down walls, stopped the sun and the moon, sent hail stones and hornets. David went and faced Goliath with only a sling shot, but he faced him with Me, and the battle was Mine. When three armies joined together and came against Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah to capture Jerusalem, I told them to go out to face the enemy, but I told them not to fear for the battle was Mine. Daniel was thrown in the lions’ den, but the battle was Mine. Peter was put in prison and scheduled to die, but the church prayed, and the battle was Mine. I sent an angel to let him out. Paul and Silas were in prison chained to the floor, but they sang praises and the battle became Mine—every gate opened and the chains fell off all the prisoners.

In all these cases the battle was Mine but the victory was theirs. Just like the sap is in the vine but the branches bear the fruit.

I AM present as your helper, but even more that, for all the power is Mine but I use it for you. Alone you are outnumbered by the devil and his demons, legions of them had taken over the man living among the tombs in the territory of the Gadarenes, but Jesus walked and with Me and He cast them all out in a matter of minutes. With Me you are more than a conqueror. The power to heal is present. It just takes you and Me and that is enough to take down ALL the forces of the enemy. Remember? I told Gideon, though there were myriads of the enemy, that, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat Midian as one man.” Judges 6:16. Why? Because the battle was Mine but you have to go face the enemy. But you go with Me in My armor and with the weapons I give you, which are powerful, and get the strategy from Me. For you will have to fight the good fight of faith, but the battle is Mine.

The battle is Mine, but you get the victory. And today’s Life Lesson on what to do when the devil attacks is: “Never fight alone.”

Many or few I can win, but I need someone to go with Me so I am authorized to act in the earth.

“Then Jonathan said to the young man who was carrying his armor, “Come and let us cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; perhaps the LORD will work for us, for the LORD is not restrained to save by many or by few.” 1 Samuel 14:6.

This is not a battle where you are fighting to get something from the devil or others. This is a battle of standing. My Son already won the victory over the devil and I have already judged and condemned him, and in My Son I have given you EVERYTHING you need for life and godliness. In Jesus, I have also blessed you with every spiritual blessing in Heaven in Him. So this is merely your standing upon what you have and not letting the devil (the thief) take what is already yours. It is a matter of enforcing the victory that Christ already won for you. It is a matter of taking your stand in Christ, firmly rooted and grounded in Him and unwavering in your stand.

When the devil attacks, first you must recognize it is him and not your own thoughts, fears, and feelings. I did not give you a spirit of fear but of power, love and a strong mind. So if you are experiencing fear and dread in your life, even to the point of being physically ill in your digestive system of other areas of your body, you must know that is NOT from Me and it is not from yourself, it is from the devil. And you must not tolerate it because it does not belong to you. It belongs to the devil, it is a demon spirit. So what do you do? You have to answer it. Jesus told you to speak to the mountains in your life and tell them to be taken up and cast in the sea.

“Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.” Mark 22-23.

First have faith in Me and have My kind of faith. I speak things into being. I speak those things that be not as though they are and they come to be. I also rebuke things. I bind them and loose them. I tell you to do the same and I will back you up.

“Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” Matthew 18:18-20.

You bind Satan and his thoughts and schemes, and you loose blessing, healing, and prosperity. What you want out of your life and nation you bind, what you want to come to you, you loose. And you can do this in accordance with whatever is bound or loosed in Heaven.

But you have to understand that if you do not check and bind him the devil will not stop advancing against you to take your possessions. And what you permit in your life, I have to allow you to permit, just as I did with Adam and Eve. I had given them dominion authority and told them to keep and guard the Garden. I had told them not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. But the ultimate decision of whether or not they would resist the devil was up to them.

Let us say that Jehoshaphat had not turned to Me to seek a solution when the three armies united against him but decided to surrender since they were outnumbered, his enemies would have taken the people of Judah captive and no miraculous deliverance would have taken place. But by faith in Me they went out to face the enemy singing My praises with no thought of defeat, and I gave them a miraculous deliverance. Which then caused fear of Me to fall on all the kingdoms of the lands when they heard that I had fought against the enemies of Israel. So the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for I gave him rest on all sides. 2 Chronicles 20:29-30. When Satan sees that you fight with Me, which means you are walking with Me and are wise to his tactics, he will pull back and think twice about advancing against you. But if he can pull you out of your relationship with Me into the mental arena he knows he can take you captive.
Jehoshaphat knew what to do when the spirit of fear tries to take you down. When he heard the report about the advancing armies he at first was taken aback because he had been faithful and obedient to Me. “Jehoshaphat was afraid and turned his attention to seek the LORD.” 2 Chronicles 20:3. And then he called all the people to join him in prayer before Me in My temple. They cast their care on Me, “O our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” 2 Chronicles 20:12. And I gave them My answer, “Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s. Tomorrow go down against them. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the valley in front of the wilderness of Jeruel. You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the LORD is with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:15-17. And the king and all the people immediately believed, threw themselves down and worshipped Me in thanksgiving and praise. And they obeyed. They went out early in the morning to go down against the enemy, still praising and thanking.

And this shows you how to respond to fear, for the devil will loom all kinds of disaster scenarios into your mind, but even though the fear tried to take over Jehoshaphat he did not allow it to do so. He immediately sought Me and My input. And when he got it, he did not decide he did not like the solution and so not do it, HE RAN WITH IT. And he praised Me for the victory before the actual victory was won, indeed, right then nothing seemed to have changes. But they took it by faith.

“Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.” Mark 11:24.

The same was followed by Hezekiah, when he was the devil threatened him with fears of destruction if he did not surrender, Hezekiah took the threatening letter and laid it before Me and cast the care on Me with complete trust in heartfelt prayer that honored My greatness and power. 2 Kings 19:14. And I sent him Word by the prophet Isaiah that I had heard him and that he had nothing to fear, that the enemy would not harm him or the city. And that night I sent an angel and took down 185,000 in the enemy camp and in the morning the ones left departed as quickly as they could. 2 Kings 19:14-37.

Never fight alone, fight with Me. When the attack starts, Satan will do all he can to get you to fear, but rebuke that unclean spirit and seek Me immediately knowing I will take care of it with you. Go into peace with Me.

I equip you for battle, and I equip you with My own power. I give you My armor, My Word, the Blood of My Son, and all you need for life and godliness, including every spiritual blessing in Heaven in Christ.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.

“Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21.

First, screen your thoughts and do not allow any thought to remain that is causing you fear, unrest, immorality, impurity, anger, bitterness, resentment, shame, and anything that steals your joy and peace. You must answer these and command them in no uncertain terms to depart from you. Do not let things by and permit them, they may seem small now but they will grow exponentially. Stop them before they even start up.

“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things and the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:4-7/

Guard your mind with the helmet of salvation. And keep up the shield of faith with the sword of the spirit ready.

And you have to feed to fight. And to fight spiritual battles, and every battle is actually spiritual, you need to be feeding on spiritual food. My Words are spirit and life. Hear, speak, meditate upon My Words night and day and you will make your way prosperous and of good success.

I love you. Never fight alone, and why would you want to when you have ME with you, in you, and right there with you?
