The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Matthew 13:44.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls, and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.” Matthew 13:45-46.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The Kingdom of Heaven is like a precious treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls, and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.” Matthew 13:44-46. In the world you can find the Kingdom if you seek it with all your heart. But it is hidden from the flesh but accessible in the Spirit.
“Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, ‘You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive; for the heart of this people has become dull, with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes, otherwise they would see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and return, and I would heal them.’” Matthew 13:13-16.
This is a hidden wisdom from the world but it is revealed by My Spirit to those who love Me.
“We do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away; but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; but just as it is written, ‘Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.’” 1 Corinthians 2:6-9.
But to you who have been born again by receiving My Son as Lord, I have revealed them through the Spirit; for My Spirit searches all things, even My very depths. 1 Corinthians 2:10. Blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. Matthew 13:16.
It has pleased Me to give you, My Son’s little flock, this treasure in your earthen vessels. The Kingdom of Heaven is within you. Luke 17:21. You have access in the one Spirit to the precious treasure and the pearl of great price.
And from the fullness of the treasure you have all received, grace on top of grace. Jesus is the precious treasure worth more than everything the world has to offer you. Jesus is the pearl of great price that opens to you the Kingdom.
Remember the gates to the Kingdom are pearls of great size and value. Each gate is a single massive pearl of beauty and luster beyond all earthly pearls. And Jesus is the door, the gate, John 10:7-9 (“So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”) Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, there is no other way to My Kingdom but through Him.
And when Jesus took flesh and dwelt among you, the treasure in the field of the world, that pearl of great price, was very hidden from the eyes of men but there were those who discerned the Messiah and gave away all and followed Him. They knew the treasure that was in their midst and they wanted to have it more than any earthly acclaim or treasure for they knew that eternal life, healing, and peace were in Him. He had the words of eternal life. But not all had eyes to see that or ears to hear His Words and understand, they did not and today still do not see the treasure in Him.
“Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of parched ground; He has no stately form or majesty that we should look upon Him, nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. He was despised and forsaken of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and like one from whom men hide their face. He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.” Isaiah 53:1-3.
Can anything good come from Nazareth?
“Jesus went out from there and came into His hometown; and His disciples followed Him. When the Sabbath came, He began to teach in the synagogue; and the many listeners were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get these things, and what is this wisdom given to Him, and such miracles as these performed by His hands? Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?” And they took offense at Him. Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and among his own relatives and in his own household.” And He could do no miracle there except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He wondered at their unbelief.” Mark 6:1-6.
They could not perceive the treasure. But Mary did. She treasured all the events of His life in her heart and pondered upon them with joy. Do you know the treasure His life has brought you? Do you ponder it in awe and wonder? Do you rejoice over the treasure you have found in Him?
“He poured out Himself to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet He Himself bore the sins of many, and interceded for the transgressors.” Isaiah 53:12. He bore your diseases, your pains, your sins, your shame, your guilt, and your blame without opening His mouth in rebuttal to His oppressors and murderers. He accepted all your sins and took the punishment due them. The wages of sin is death, and though He never personally sinned He agreed to take into His flesh all your sins and bear the chastisement that satisfied divine justice and made you whole. He gave you the life I planned for you before the foundation of the world—the life of shalom and not evil with an eternal future and a glorious hope. He gave you a great salvation that no one can take from you if you want it. And the salvation package contains great benefits: forgiveness, healing, redemption, sanctification, righteousness, provision, protection, compassion, good days filled with good things, and renewal of youth. Psalm 103:1-5; 1 Corinthians 1:30. All My magnificent promises in My Covenant Names are “yes” to you in Him, making you partakers of My Divine nature. 2 Corinthians 1:20-21; 2 Peter 1:2-4.
And when you find Him you find everything, for in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Jesus is the treasure chest I gave you filled with treasure beyond all price, and out of Him you draw all you need and more. Colossians 2:6-7. Rooted and grounded in love. Ephesians 3:17.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9.
In Jesus, I am with you. He is called “God with us, emmanu-el.” He makes us one again. And that is the treasure, the pearl, and the Kingdom. You are strangers and aliens no longer but citizens of Heaven and members of My household. In Him, I have put My Name on you and that is where the blessings of Heaven are found—in the place I put My Name.
Remember when I taught Moses the priestly blessing that the High Priest and his sons were to speak over the people? Numbers 6:24-26. Do you recall why I told him to bless the people in that way? “So they shall put My Name on the sons of Israel, and I will bless them.” Numbers 6:27.
Every good thing given and every perfect gift is generated from the treasure to you. It comes out of Me and passes through Jesus to you. The treasure hidden in the field. His humanity fits My divinity into your humanity, and His divinity fits your humanity into My divinity. He is My gift to you, I so loved the world I gave you My treasure beyond measure, My Son, the joy of Heaven and earth. And I gave you His Name and there is no other name given among men by which you are saved.
The treasure above all treasure is Jesus, is with Jesus, is in Jesus, and comes through Jesus. Of His fullness you have all received, grace upon grace. And you can have all this NOW if you are in Christ Jesus your Lord. It has pleased Me to give you My Son, and with, in, and through Him came the Kingdom. And it pleased Me to give you all that in Him.
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32.
Do not neglect so great a treasure. Seek it with all you heart and you shall find it. He is with you always. He will never leave you or forsake you. By His becoming flesh, dwelling with you, and dying for you, and being raised for you to forever be in the glorified body like the one you will have when He returns for you, He has prepared a place for you and even now, He has drawn you back into My bosom with Him. When I raised Him and put Him on the throne of the Son of Men, I raised you who believe and sat you there with Him. It was originally created for you, but Adam abdicated it to Satan, but Jesus won it back for YOU.
I love you. Have you found the treasure and the pearl? They are not hard to find. It has pleased Me to give them to you and My Spirit will guide you there as He leads you in the way you should go. It gives Me great pleasure to see you walking in the truth.
And Jesus came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near; for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household. Ephesians 2:17-19.
