But the centurion said, “Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my boy will be healed.” Matthew 8:8.

Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:11-13.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

A new day is dawning. My grace is upon you for great things and greater things. Jesus told you about this new day for living in newness of life, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do.” John 14:12. It is the time of the latter rain—the rain that brings in the great and final harvest of the year—so it is the time for the greater works.

“The light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, on the day the LORD את binds up the fracture of His people and the blow of their wound heals.” Isaiah 30:26.

The sun sevenfold brighter, the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His rays (kanaph in Hebrew, which means the extremity, such as the end of a robe or garment, the wings of a bird, the rays of the sun). But you notice He rises with healing being sent forth.

“But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings (kanaph); and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.” Malachi 4:2.

A time of rejoicing for you who revere, love and fear My Name, skipping about with joy at the miracles, signs and wonders that follow your proclaiming My Word. “And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the attesting miracles that followed.” Mark 16:20.

Greater works He will do through you. What were the works Jesus did? He did My works and said My Words. “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38.

Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.” John 5:19-20.

Jesus taught, preached, and healed. And He sends out His followers, now His body, to do the same: “And He called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases. And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing.” Luke 9:1-2. As I sent Him on a healing mission, so He sends you. The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand when mighty works of power that make days of sorrow into days of Heaven on earth shine forth, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen from the dead, opening the new age of grace, the church age. And now that day is reaching towards its close for the light of eternity to dawn, soon. Are you a watcher for the dawn? “My soul longs for the Lord (Adonai) more than sentries watch for the dawn, yes, more than sentries watch for the dawn.” Psalm 130:6.

It is time for healing. It is a time for salvation. It is a time for revival. It is time to awaken to righteousness. It is time to let Me do the greater works through you as the Body of Christ on earth that I told Jesus I would show Him. I am calling you to come and to call others with you. It is time to bring Heaven to earth. And the good news is you can. Jesus has authorized you and I have authorized Him and you in Him.

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20.

It is time for Heaven and earth to kiss in the kiss of peace. It is time for all to kiss the Son—the kiss of peace.

“Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; take warning, O leaders of the earth. Worship the LORD with reverence and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!” Psalm 2:10-11.

Take heed what you hear, for this is the age of grace—My love held out to all for complete forgiveness, healing, redemption, salvation, sanctification, and showers of blessings but there will come the fulfillment of the day of Atonement after the fulfillment of the appointed time of Trumpets when the church is caught away.

“Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” Revelation 6:15-17.

We are studying the miracles worked at the hands of Jesus while He was among you as one of you, like you in all things but without sin. These miracles brought the Kingdom near to all who would receive by faith. It turned lives of pain and sorrow to lives filled with the good things of Heaven on earth. So today we will consider the second individual miracle reported in the gospel according to Matthew for there in much to learn there both in receiving and administering your own healing as well as healing in the lives of others.

And this miracle is the healing of the centurion’s servant.

“And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him, and saying, “Lord, my boy (servant) is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented.” Matthew 8:6.

He had heard of Jesus and he sought him and found him. He was interceding for his servant who was as dear to him as a son. He saw the boy’s pain and torment and his fear, unable to move, and yet the centurion knew he had the solution. He had heard about Jesus and that he resided in Capernaum. But he had to approach a Jewish man to seek the miracle he sought that no doctor had been able to perform. He was a commander in the Roman army, but he came to Jesus as one superior to him, he called him “Lord,” and implored Him, not ordered Him. And what did he open the conversation with? He told the horrible condition of his servant. He knew Jesus worked miracles of compassion and would want to stop this suffering. He had more wisdom on this than the leper did which was the miracle before this one that is recounted by Mathew. The leper knew Jesus could heal if He wanted to but was not sure He would want to do it all the time, at least maybe not for him. Jesus set him straight on that, telling Him that His Will was to heal and that was it. And He healed him on the spot. The centurion was different. He came knowing that if he reported the boy’s condition to Jesus, that Jesus would respond by healing him. He believed He could heal him and would heal him once informed. And he was not disappointed. Hope does not disappoint.

Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” Matthew 8:7. Here is a revelation for many. When Jesus sees faith and hears of suffering, that is where the suffering ends, whether it be opening blind eyes, making the deaf to hear and the mute to speak, or raising a young girl from the dead. And He was willing to go to a Roman’s house, a place Jewish people considered unclean, but He was no respecter of persons, all who acted in faith were acceptable to Him, it puts them in the covenant of Abraham

But the centurion’s faith, combined with his reverence, respect, and knowledge of command authority, made him answer in a way that surprised Jesus and His disciples.

“But the centurion said, ‘Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the Word, and my boy will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.” Matthew 8:8-9. He knew already by his understanding of Jesus’ superior position and commanding authority what is written in Psalm 107:20: “He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from all their destructions” would happen. Yes, My Words are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.

This response caused Jesus to marvel. It would be good if you amazed Him by your unwavering faith in My Word no matter how challenging the circumstances are.

“Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.” Matthew 8:10.

Jesus called that great faith, not just faith, but great faith. And you will need that to do the greater works. My Word should be enough for you to know that all you need to do for your miracle is agree with My Word and put it to work, that is, speak My Word to Me and to yourself, that is, over your life or that of one in your care, for healing and deliverance to take place.

And Jesus commented upon that faith, upon righteousness by faith in Jesus, “I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven; but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 8:11-12.

And how did it end? In a miracle of course. Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed that very moment. Matthew 8:13.

You will note, Jesus did not say a long prayer of healing for the boy or even command healing to go forth, He just told the centurion it would be done as he had believed. This is a revelation that all need to learn. What the centurion spoke with faith to Jesus in keeping with My Will he received in the manner he had envisioned it. You can do the same. This is the authority of the believer.

Jesus is the faithful witness; He speaks the end from the beginning as I do. When He was told that Lazarus was ill, He immediately said the sickness would not end in death. At first, when Lazarus died and was buried, it looked like He was wrong, but He was proved right by My power. He had spoken the result from the beginning in faith and I honored that. And Jesus did too, He thanked Me for having heard Him as He stood before the tomb of Lazarus and I had. First words in any given situation are important. Speak the end from the beginning according to My Will.

I send My Word to heal and deliver and now you have the Word in you, Christ in you, your hope of glory. You have the mind of Christ, that is, of the anointing. You have been born again of the imperishable seed of the Word, grow thereby. The Word grows as it is watered by the Word. And the Word grows best in a pure heart, in uncluttered ground. Worry, doubt, fear are all unclean spirits that choke the growth of My Word in your heart. Anything that causes destruction, that is, steals, kills and destroys your life is an unclean spirit or influence from the devil, but the voice of My Word, even in your mouth, he must obey.

Focus, as the centurion did, on Jesus above all other words, voices, and authority. Speak My Word only and command things to line up with it, and all must obey.

The centurion saw the Word of Jesus as the highest command that all had to obey, including a painful tormenting sickness that had paralyzed his boy. He knew the power of command from a superior voice. And to do greater works you must believe that too. Great faith for great works. To bring the Kingdom of Heaven near to you and release My Will upon the earth.

I love you. I am your King, your lawgiver, and your Judge, and I will save you. Isaiah 33:22. When you have received Me as that by faith you will be able to live in the flow of Heaven upon the earth, seated with and in Christ in Heaven in the spirit and “no resident will say, “I am sick”; the people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.” Isaiah 33:24.
