While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. Matthew 26:26-30.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
A taste of Heaven on earth that gives you eternal life. “Jesus then said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.’” John 6:32-33. This bread comes down out of Heaven and gives life to the world. It is not a substance found on earth, it comes down out of Heaven and it gives life.
A very great miracle took place at the Passover meal the night Jesus was betrayed. Jesus took bread and wine and it became your food for everlasting life. “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:54.
Many people, even believers, do not look deeply into My Word and the things I reveal to them. They either lack the interest (do not value them) or live so much on the surface of things, that is, according to the flesh and not the spirit, that they miss them entirely. When Jesus first told the people about the Bread from Heaven, many of His followers left Him and looked no deeper. But Peter knew that Jesus had the words of eternal life and there was no where else worth going to for truth and life other than Jesus. For My Words are Spirit and life.
“Great are the works of the LORD; sought out and studied by all who delight in them.” Psalm 111:2. When you value My Words and My Words you seek them and study them. All you who are reading this have been studying the works of Jesus in order to go deeper into how to bring the Kingdom near and have days of Heaven on earth.
My prophet Daniel did works of excellence and highest integrity and was a busy man in the affairs of the government of the nations that had taken him captive from Jerusalem, beginning with Nebuchadnezzar, but he set aside time to spend with Me in My Word and I showed him things to come. As he studied My Word and saw into the Spirit, I would reveal more and more to him because he would pursue going deeper. He writes that he kept looking and kept looking, Daniel 7:4, 6, 9, 11, 13, going deeper and deeper, and then he began asking the exact meaning and I told him and made known to him the interpretation of what he was seeing, Daniel 7:16. And then he still desired to look more fully into the meaning of another detail, Daniel 7:19, so he kept looking until he saw the end result. Daniel 7:27 and at the point the revelation ended. Daniel 7:28.
This gives you a good idea of how to spend time with Me to get revelation knowledge that goes deep into My thoughts, purposes and plans, you can just quickly read or hear, you must spend time going deeper, not just a surfer but a diver in the deep.
Many people take communion, that is, partake of the Body and Blood of My Son but most of them are surface takers, by which I mean they do not properly judge the Body. “For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly. For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep.” 1 Corinthians 11:29-30.
By partaking of the Body of My Son, you grow into that Body. One bread, one body. You are what you eat, even in the physical sense, you can tell what a person is eating by the shape their body is in.
“Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ? Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread.” 1 Corinthians 10:16-17.
Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.” John 6:53-58
He gave Himself for the life of the world. But why give you His body as bread? Because the bread you eat nourishes you and builds into your own body. And you become His body and He nourishes and cares for His own body. It makes you one in Me and partakers of the divine nature. You become partakers not only by My Word but also by the bread that comes down from Heaven for you to eat and never die. This is the bread of the supernatural. It is not an earthly substance. As you partake it comes into your body but it nourishes your spirit and soul. It, however, permeates every part of you to heal and impart nourishment that is not of earth.
This is a very great miracle in that you take up earthly substances of bread and wine and by faith and speaking My Words over them they become what you speak. The bread still looks and tastes like bread and the wine like wine but it is a new creation in My Son by the operation of My Word and by the power of the Holy Spirit hovering to perform that Word. Just as He did when I spoke all into being in the beginning of the earth and just as He did over Mary when the Word became flesh. The Word can become flesh, Christ’s body and blood, as it did in Mary.
The miracle of making the bread and wine of earth into the bread and wine of Heaven, is like when you are born again not from perishable but from the imperishable seed of My Word, making you a new creation in Christ. Nothing changes in outward appearance but you have a new spirit within you. The change was in your inner man and this does not show. In the flesh, as far as the inner and outer characteristics of your mortal body do not change, but only your spirit, so it is with the new creation of the bread and wine, outwardly it remains the same but inwardly it is entirely new.
The Bread and the Word heal you and you are cleansed, atoned for, washed clean by the Blood and by the Word. The Blood takes the sin away and the Word cleanses your mind of the failure, the shame, and the guilt so you can go forward without hindrance.
It is about being the Body to partake of the Body. It is about the atonement and about Covenant to take the Blood. And His Blood speaks, pleading for mercy. The Blood covers you; the Bread grows you. And this is unceasing. If you walk in the light you have fellowship with Me and the Blood of My Son continually cleanses you. 1 John 1:7.
The early community of Christians understood the importance of the Word as taught by the apostles (which they received from Jesus), the breaking of the Bread, and prayer. “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42. What kind of fellowship? A special kind that those in the household of faith have with Me and one another. “And indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.” 1 John 1:3. And that is eternal life, “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3. Communion, oneness, fellowship with your God.
Receiving the Body and Blood of My Son fulfills the prayer of Jesus the night before He died for your sins, “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.” John 17:22-23. And “I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:26.
Feeding on the Body of Christ you become His body on earth. But it is the Bread of Heaven, not of earthly substance, and you will partake of it in Heaven as well. Luke 22:30; Matthew 26:29; Luke 22:15-20; Mark 14:25.
It is all about fellowship of a kind you cannot experience in the natural. It is the closeness of being in the inner depths of one another. It is fellowship beyond all you can ask or imagine. It is knowing even as you are known.
This is a oneness of uniqueness, but joined in thoughts, plans, ways, purposes, and perfection. If you join with Me through Jesus you are one spirit with Me. Marriage is the closest image you can use for the closeness of our relationship but it is no where near to the extent and depth of the relationship of the Spirit with spirit—a knowing but more, a oneness wherein each flows into the other until we are so alike that in seeing one you see the other as well. Like Jesus and Me. In seeing Him you saw Me in action. The same with the early disciples, as they spoke with confidence, the Pharisees wondered about how they did this and then they realized they had been with Jesus.
Partaking of Holy Communion should be a sacred time of worship and prayer, a flow of unbroken oneness where each honors and values the other as unique but totally one in trust and love with no separation, no drawing back, no suspicion, no doubt in the goodness of the other. This is the way I treat and see you. “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I have given Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in your place. Since you are precious in My sight, since you are honored and I love you.” Isaiah 43:1-4.
I have invited you to reign with Me. “And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.” Revelation 22:5. And “For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17.
No oppression, only reigning in life and in eternity with Me through Jesus. I tell you that you will see My Face and My Name will be on your forehead. This is like the golden plate that hung from the turban of the High Priest upon his forehead, “Holy to the LORD.” This will renew your mind to My thoughts, holy and pure.
You receive My Name. “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.” Revelation 3:12. Joined with Me forever in the Heavenly City of which you are citizens and to which I have called you, “so that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.” 1 Thessalonians 2:12. Joined with Me, My Kingdom becomes your—your inheritance. And you have a new name that I name you which is My new name for you. “To him who overcomes, to him I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it.” Revelation 2:17. A new name for you. It is the name I call you now in My heart. And Jesus is the firstborn of many brethren and as He is so are you, even in Heaven, and I have given Him also a new name that no one knows but Himself, just like I do for you. Revelation 19:12.
Also did you notice that I will give you hidden manna? You will be partaking of communion in Heaven as well.
I call you each by name, you are Mine. I have a name for each of you plus I give you My Name and the whole family in Heaven and on earth derives its name from Mine. “For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.” Ephesians 3:14-15.
The relationship of oneness between us in constant fellowship comes only by your walking, living, and abiding with Me in the Light—the inheritance of the saints in light. Walk as children of light. Ephesians 5:8; John 3:21. Living in the Light is living in the truth, that is, living in the Word for My Word is absolute truth. My Word is a light to your path and a lamp to your feet. The opening of My Word sheds light. And all you put in the light becomes light.
I am Light. There is no darkness in Me or My Kingdom at all. Live in the light. “For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.” John 3:20-21. For the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth. Ephesians 5:9.
As you read My Word, look for the signs and look for the wonders. My Son was born in Bethlehem, which means “House of Bread.” And that was the place I brought forth My Son as your Bread. The true manna from Heaven came down at the time of the dewfall, gentle, humble, and My gift to the world. “before the daystar like the dew I have begotten you.” The hidden manna. Revelation 2:17.
I love you. “Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal.” Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.” So they said to Him, “What then do You do for a sign, so that we may see, and believe You? What work do You perform? Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’” Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.” Then they said to Him, “Lord, always give us this bread.” John 6:26-34.
