Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:5-6.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Each day you can rely on Me to lead you. How? By My Spirit in you. But there is something else too I want to show you. You should not just be getting by each day you should be reigning in life through Christ Jesus. “For if by the transgression of the one (Adam), death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17.
And what are they singing in Heaven before My throne? A new song to Jesus, “Worthy are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slain and purchased for God with Your blood from every tribe and tongue and people and nation, You have made them a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.” Revelation 5:9-10.
And it is true now and forever, “There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.” Revelation 22:3-5.
This is not just for Heaven. It starts now. And unless you are reigning in life through Christ Jesus you will not have days of Heaven upon the earth. It all has to do with the authority with which I have clothed you in Him. Power from on High.
Be excited each day and expect My guidance and expertise to help you in all you undertake. You have the Wonderful Counselor. And I will remind you of things you need to do just when you need to do them so you are not filing things late or missing deadlines.
But you must hear My voice to follow Me.
How do you hear someone’s voice? You have to get in their presence. Draw close to Me and I will draw close to you. But since you do not see Me, how do you draw close to Me? The same way you do with others in the world, you speak to Me. And I am listening. When you call, I answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. Jeremiah 33:3. I am not far from any of you. I am with you always. And for those who believe in My Son, My Spirit is in you to share My thoughts and Words with you.
How do you expect to hear if you do not draw near and if you do not listen? How can you live days of Heaven upon the earth unless you hear from Heaven? You cannot. So it is time you listened.
In the Book of the Acts of the Apostles you see that the early church was very good at listening to Me. When James made a decision about the Gentile converts, he and the leaders had consulted with Me and he wrote to the Gentile converts, “For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these essentials: that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication; if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well. Farewell.” Acts 15:28-29. The Holy Spirit had witnessed with their spirits the right direction to give.
We are now in the Book of Acts where Paul is heading to Jerusalem where My Spirit has testified to him in his spirit that bonds and afflictions await him. But what was his response? Not fear. No reluctance to go. “But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.” Acts 20:24. He had overcome the devil. “And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” Revelation 12:11.
Paul was dearly loved by the believers who had heard the good news of Jesus from him and been set free and healed. When they heard him saying that he would not see them again, they wept. “When he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all. And they began to weep aloud and embraced Paul, and repeatedly kissed him, grieving especially over the word which he had spoken, that they would not see his face again. And they were accompanying him to the ship as he set sail to go to Jerusalem from Ephesus. Acts 20:36-38. Paul was most zealous for Me and giving people the gift that he had received. As you see from reading the Book of Acts, he often repeated the story of his conversion when Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus. He cherished every appearance of Jesus in his life and all the revelation I shared with him.
Why did Paul experience so much? Because he valued it more than anyone else of his day. He sought Me and My Word with a passion. He counted everything else rubbish. He had always loved My Word as written by Moses and the prophets and devoted his life to the study of it as a Pharisee of Pharisees. And after I revealed My Son to him and showed him how Jesus fulfilled every prophecy that he so loved and knew, he could not have enough time with studying and preaching how Jesus fulfilled every prophecy and more.
I showed him the mystery of redemption for Jews and Gentiles, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and Christ in you your hope of glory, and that all your sins were gone in Christ and I had raised you up with Him and seated you with Him in Heaven. I took Paul up and showed him My Kingdom of Heaven. He never shared what he saw but told you that he heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak. 2 Corinthians 12:4.
Paul lived what I showed him and what he taught. He rejoiced always, prayed without ceasing and gave constant thanks. I only needed to tell him what I wanted or what to do and he was running with it immediately. He faced perils and persecution beyond any other follower of Mine and he called it momentary light affliction compared to the weight of glory that was awaiting him when he finished his course. He prayed in tongues more than any of you but he also interspersed it with praying with his understanding so that both his spirit and mind were fruitful in prayer. He was always alert. He was filled with My love. And his prayer for you was that you too would enjoy and understand My love that was so great it was beyond understanding and be filled with all My fullness in your spirit, soul, and body even now. His honor for Me and My Word, for Jesus and the Spirit, was totally without self-glorification or self-seeking. He just loved Me and wanted everyone else to have the same love and joy in Me that he experienced. And that is why the devil could never penetrate Paul or take him down. And he did not want you to be unaware of the devil’s tactics either.
Paul was so taken up by My love as witnessed in Christ that even faced with persecution, hardship, imprisonment, and peril for preaching My gospel, he wrote for your edification by the Spirit, “But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39.
And I am willing and able to show you just as much as I showed Paul and as your heart enlarges in running the way of My commands I can show you still more. “For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure.” John 3:34.
I love you. I made the world for you and I sent Jesus for you. And I would have done that even if you were the only person in the world. I started out with just one person formed by Me and filled with My breath of life when I made the world and all in it and showed up each day to enter into constant fellowship with man.
“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:14-21.
