For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ. Romans 8:14-17.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The freedom of My children, that means you have a liberating Father. But above all it means to you that you have a forever Father. And you were born to Me not of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of My Will. I chose you.
When parents have a child, they do not have much choice on who that child will be, but when a child is adopted, the parent has chosen and picked particularly the one he or she desires and wants with all his or her heart.
Originally you were born out of Me in My image and according to My likeness, and even then I had chosen you, I planned you and had the book of your life written before you were born, I desired you, you were My choice.
But you left Me as your God and went to another “god,” and have worshipped idols, the one who is a liar and father of lies, became your “father.” But if you return to Me I will adopt you as My child and I will be your Father and you shall be My child. You are precious in My sight and I love you. I have specifically picked and chosen you as the desire of My heart. You were lost but you have been found. “But we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found.” Luke 15:32.
All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. Isaiah 53:6.
I sent Jesus to seek out and save what was lost. To bring you back to Me with your sins gone and nothing keeping us apart. He is the good Shepherd who brings back the lost sheep and celebrates. He gave His life for the sheep.
When you seek Me you will find Me right there with you.
My eyes go back and forth across the earth looking for those whose hearts have turned back to Me and I find them. I call them. And I take them into My house forever.
Only goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:6.
And I found David. And now I find each one of you and I do for you as I did for David. I put him in the Messiah’s line. And once you are in Christ, I do the same with you. In Jesus, you are in the royal line of David.
I have found David My servant; with My holy oil I have anointed him, with whom My hand will be established; My arm also will strengthen him. The enemy will not deceive him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him. But I shall crush his adversaries before him, and strike those who hate him. My faithfulness and My lovingkindness will be with him, and in My name his horn will be exalted. I shall also set his hand on the sea and his right hand on the rivers. He will cry to Me, ‘You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation. I also shall make him My firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. My lovingkindness I will keep for him forever, and My covenant shall be confirmed to him. So I will establish his seed forever and his throne as the days of heaven. Psalm 89:20-29.
I have found you, anointed you, and appointed you. I am your forever Father. You can always come home to Me, for My house is your house for you are My child. A servant is not in the house forever, but a child is.
What does it mean to you that I am your Father? When something hurts you, attacks you, tries you, intimidates you, you have a good and loving, all powerful and all forgiving Father to run to with confidence to receive mercy and find grace just when you need it. I am your refuge and your fortress. Cast your care on Me because I care for you. Abba taking care.
You can always come to Me, no matter what you have done or not done, and you will find not a harsh judge but a loving Father who wants only to give you good things and make your life blessed and fruitful.
You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. John 15:16,
I chose you before you chose Me. But when you chose to make Jesus your Lord, you chose Me as your Father forever and all I have is yours. You are My heir, but I will never die, so I gave you the Kingdom now. Like the sons in the parable of the prodigal son I have already given you your inheritance.
And he said to him, ‘Son, you are with Me always, and all that is Mine is yours.’” Luke 15:31.
You are heir of Heaven and earth. But I will always be there with you as your Father forever.
I have chosen you and called you to Myself. I am here for you. Do not fear. You have a Father.
You are not an orphan and never will be.
The night before He died for your sins, Jesus told you He would not leave you orphans. He was returning to Me. And He told you who believe in Him that He has returning to His Father and your Father.
Many of His own had rejected Him, but as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become My children, even to those who believe in His Name. John 1:12.
And in His teachings and sermons while He was among you as one like you on the earth, He introduced Me to you as your heavenly Father. And He only taught you one Name to call Me, “Father.” This is what made the Pharisees want to kill Him, because He called Me His Father.
For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God. John 5:18.
And He told you that I am your Father too, making you just like Me. You are not a slave, but a child, and not just any child but a chosen child and a friend who understands what I am doing and wants to join in My everlasting Covenant of love.
Why would someone want to be your child and live with you forever? Because you are good to them, kind to them, a protector to them, a provider to them, a teacher to them, one whom they can always come to and find mercy and instruction for life, and who fills their lives with all they need and more besides. Someone that they can depend on to be more interested in their welfare and best interests than anyone else and has the power to bring them what is beneficial to them.
And that is why the prodigal son wanted to return to his father and knew he could do so and be accepted into the good things of the father’s house again.
And Jesus knew Me well and He described Me as good, the only one that is absolutely good.
And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.” Mark 10:18.
And He spoke of Me as the best of fathers. A good Father and I have given you a good Shepherd and a Spirit of goodness, the Holy Spirit. I want to fill My children with My goodness. Jeremiah 31:14.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:7-11.
And in the gospel of Luke, I tell you what the best good gift is that I can give you that has all the gifts wrapped up in the gift, which is the source of all the good gifts given in manifesting them in you and on the earth:
“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?” Luke 11:13.
When you receive Jesus as Lord, I give you the gift of My Holy Spirit and pour My love in your heart.

Of all the things I could have said to My Son at His baptism at the beginning of His public ministry in his time as one of you on the earth, there was one Word above all the rest I chose to encourage Him in fulfilling the work I gave Him to do. Do you remember what it was?
Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.” Luke 4:21-22.
I told Him He was My beloved Son in whom I am well-pleased. And Jesus told you just as I have loved Him, I have also loved you. I am saying the same over you.
The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. John 17:22-23.
And remember, Satan will try to steal that Word from you as he did from Jesus. The Spirit had led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil and the first thing the devil went after was that. He tried to make Him doubt His relationship of Sonship with Me. “IF YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD . . .” and he left out the beloved and well-pleased too.
And the devil will do the same to you. He will try to persuade you that I am not well-pleased with you and that you are not a beloved child of Mine. He wants you to see Me as disappointed in you and as not being willing to heal or bless you. But that is not the case. I sent My Son to take away all your sins and reconcile you with Me because I so love you and chose you before the foundation of the world.
When pain, sickness, troubles within and without come, for they will in this world until Jesus returns to take ownership back and I make all things new and give all the kingdoms of the world back to you, My dear children, know that you have the answer because I am God your Father and I can do anything. If you come under My jurisdiction as My child, heir, and Covenant partner, I can come in and make all things work together for your good because you love Me and are called to a purpose, vision, and plan. Let Me, your Father, equip you with every good thing necessary for you to live out the full plan for your life. With long life I will satisfy you and show you My Salvation.
I loved you first, but it is your love I seek. You do not have to search for My love, I am right there with you ready to embrace you back into Myself the minute you seek Me. I reward those who seek Me. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and you shall enter. I am here for you. Your very own forever Father.
