What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be! Romans 6:15.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
One of the lies of the devil that has led many astray is: “Just love God and no matter what you do it is okay because your heart is right,” this is also expressed by him as, “Grace gives you freedom to sin without condemnation because all your sins have been atoned for already in Jesus’ blood and his death for you.” These sound like My Word, for love covers a multitude of sins and I look at the heart rather than the outward appearance, but it is deceit in the way the devil is using it.
I do look at the heart and if it is in rebellion to My Word there is no love for Me there. Saul openly disobeyed Me and yet he said he had essentially obeyed Me but just deviated from what I told him to honor Me and keep the people together because he feared the people. And what did Samuel tell him? That his behavior was fine because Saul felt he had a heart to honor Me that disobedience was okay? No. Samuel said, “Why then did you not obey the voice of the LORD, but rushed upon the spoil and did what was evil in the sight of the LORD?” Then Saul said to Samuel, “I did obey the voice of the LORD, and went on the mission on which the LORD sent me, and have brought back Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. But the people took some of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the choicest of the things devoted to destruction, to sacrifice to the LORD your God at Gilgal.” Samuel said, “Has the LORD as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and insubordination is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He has also rejected you from being king.” 1 Samuel 15:19-25.
And right after the incident Samuel was referring to of Saul’s battle against the Amalekites, Saul, on his way to the sacrifice at Gilgal came to Carmel, and he set up a monument for himself, then turned and proceeded on down to Gilgal. 1 Samuel 15:12. People who say they love Me and then proceed to live lives that are contrary to My Word are enshrining themselves above Me in their lives and the lives of the people whom they influence.
There are many people today that are openly living lifestyles that I call perverted, sin, abominable, dishonest, evil, and immoral and yet they go to church and say they love Me. And they say they are now under grace and not under law.
My servant Paul ran into that situation in the church in Corinth and he told the members of the church to remove the man who was openly living an immoral lifestyle from their midst until he changed his lifestyle. 1 Corinthians 5:1. And they did and he eventually repented and sought to enter the community again at which time Paul told them to forgive him and welcome him back.
Today you will hear from people teaching grace that the Ten Commandments and the prayer Jesus taught called the “Our Father,” are no longer applicable under the New Covenant.
The only truth in this is that under the New Covenant I take you to a much higher standard of morality and conduct than the Ten Commandments. Even if you do not physically commit adultery with or murder your fellow man, if you do look at another with lust and entertain immoral thoughts of the sexual nature or if you hate another person, it is a violation of grace and counts as a sin just as much as if you can done it in the flesh.
Under the New Covenant of grace you are to believe in the supremacy of the Name of Jesus, and that you are saved by that Name, and to love one another as Jesus commanded you. And He commanded you to love one another as He loved you—which means that you are willing to set aside your interests and even your life to serve others and further their best interests. This is way above merely refraining from murdering another. In fact, My apostle John tells you that if hate your brother in your heart you are a murderer. And Jesus told you that if you call your brother stupid or a fool you risk going to the fires of hell.
If you love Me you keep My Word in season and out of season. If you do not love Me you do not keep My Word.
And there are also those that give in to a sinful and immoral lifestyle saying they are under grace so they can do these things intentionally and just confess them later. This also is not the lifestyle of one truly born again by the imperishable seed of My Word. 1 Peter 1:23-25. Grace does not give you license to sin because Jesus has taken the punishment for your sins, rather grace opens your heart and teaches you how to live without sin:
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. Titus 2:11-14.
Jesus gave Himself for you to redeem you from every lawless deed and purify you as His own, ready to walk in the life of good deeds I prepared for you in advance in Christ Jesus that you would have the joy of living them.
There is a vast difference in the way I treat one who has a heart for Me and yet through weakness of the flesh falls into temptation and sin and the one who blatantly sins before Me and justifies their conduct by declaring they are under grace. But if that is the case My grace has never flowed into your heart for it would change your life to one of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, not to one of living by the flesh and justifying it by grace.
I am talking about a lifestyle of sin, not occasional weakness of falling into sin and repenting. One that openly lives in sin and says grace makes it acceptable has an unrepentant heart, that is, a mind that is not renewed but is living as the old man under the slavery of sin and death and has made no resolution to change. Grace is not a license to sin, it is just the opposite, it is My divine life flowing into you enabling you to live godly in this life and forever with Me in the next. It is living a life of rewards. It is walking in the light. Darkness and light have no fellowship together. You cannot live in sin and also love Me because sin is not of Me and once you are in Me it is no longer of you either.
Now I want to talk with you about the difference between being under grace and being under the law and then you will understand.
The laws that I gave Moses for the people as a nation were for people who were not born again. Their spirits were dead to Me and alive to sin because of Adam’s submission to the words of the devil (perishable, corruptible seed) over Mine (imperishable, incorruptible seed). They wanted to serve Me but the input to their souls was primarily from what they were acquiring from the outside and not from the inside. Thus the Ten Commandments were outward controls but the law of grace is about inner controls flowing into you by My Spirit.
Grace is about your inner man of the heart; thus it examines your thoughts first, then your words, and from these flow your actions. You will be held accountable for every idle word that you speak.
Grace is being attached to Me through Jesus, the vine, who fits your humanity into My divinity and My divinity into your humanity being that He is fully God and fully man in one seamless life that makes us one in Him.
The New Covenant is about what I have done for you in Jesus and about your response to that.
And My Spirit in you with your spirit, flows My life into you as from a vine to its branch, producing the fruit of the vine, who is Jesus. And what is that fruit that is grown on your branch when you are in Christ?
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-25.
You will know people by their fruit. Not everyone who cries out, “Lord, Lord,” is necessarily doing My Will. And not everyone who says they love Me does. Love is shown not just in words but in actions. Love gives. Love moves from words and feelings to doing. Love, like faith, is seen in actions. Love becomes an action of giving and pure living in the light.
We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death. Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth. 1 John 3:14-17.
The law is for sinners. But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, and fornicators and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.. 1 Timothy 1:8-11.
It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. 1 Timothy 1:15.
People who have spirits that are born again by My imperishable Word can join in spirit with My Spirit and receive My love, My thoughts, and My Words in the inner man of the heart. A person walking in the grace of the New Covenant should know Me and be looking just like Me in what they say and do. Jesus said others would know you as His disciples by your love for one another. Your unselfish giving of yourself to Me and to others.
Love has two facets—Love towards Me and love towards others.
We love because He first loved us. If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also. 1 John 4:19-21.
How do you know if someone loves Me?
First, they give value and honor to My Word. They spend time with Me in My Word. They are interested in and love to read and hear My Word. They give My Word first place in their lives and want to hear more of it. They find answers in it and apply it in their lives.
If a person says they love Me but has no time to read My Word or hear teachings on it, but instead reads it critically and finds it boring, and does not believe it contains truth, no matter how much they profess to love Me, they do not. For I am My Word. Even with friends, spouses, and co-workers in the world, if one has no time to listen to the other and finds the other’s words foolish that relationship will not last long.
Second, if a person loves Me they love to fellowship with Me in prayer. If someone finds prayer tedious and boring and avoids it as much as possible but loves to spend long hours on social media or watching godless shows, they do not love Me.
Third, they want to know My plans for their lives. They want to fulfill the vision that is their mission. If people only want to do things their own way that please them even when it is totally against My Word, such as living in an immoral union with another, such as adultery, fornication, or homosexuality, they do not love Me or have any regard for My Word. They are doing the will of Satan for he has blinded their minds to the gospel.
Fourth, those who love Me give attention when I correct them and make every effort to bring their thoughts, words, and actions into line with My Word. The moment I corrected David he acknowledged his sin and went into every effort to get back on track with Me. Read Psalm 51 and you will hear his heart.
You will know how much they know Me by their lifestyle.
Love towards others is shown first by willing service to others, especially to others in the body of Christ. Using your abilities and talents to help build up the body of Christ and as a blessing to others.
Second, that you do right in your dealings with others. No cheating, no dishonesty, no gossip and backbiting, but all in the light in your dealings with others. If you cannot bring it into the light, it is not the way you should be treating another person.
Third, you pray for others. This shows compassion and care for others and will win them grace and benefits from Me. And I will bless you as well.
Fourth, you do not leave all the work to someone else, you fulfill your part of the plan for the benefit of all.
And fifth, love is generous. Love gives. I gave you My Son to die for your sins in your place so that all who believe in Him will never perish but have eternal life.
I love you and I am for you and not against you. I want to reward you. By grace I have put you at the finish line of the law, you are righteous with My own righteousness in Christ, not by works of the law that you have done, but that My Son has done in your place and as your substitute to win you a perfect relationship with Me as if you had never sinned. But it does not stop there. The finish line of the law is the beginning of your assignment under grace to do the works Jesus did and greater. For He did not leave you orphans but poured out My Holy Spirit on you. And born again by taking Him as Lord and believing in your heart I raised Jesus from the dead with your sins gone, you have the Holy Spirit in you united with your born again living spirit. It is the wonderful life of grace where we are working together as one in all the adventures I have planned for you from all eternity. And it does not stop with your life in this world, it continues on through eternity in that great Kingdom of Heaven. My plans for you out number the sands of the seas and that is why.
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You. Psalm 139:17-18.
