See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. Colossians 2:8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Beware of godless philosophies and “scientific” teachings that mimic My spiritual and physical laws but cannot take you past the grave to the Kingdom. They are 666, all man and no God, and the healing of the beast.
I saw one of his heads (the beast) as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” . . . Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is 666. Revelation 13:3-4; 18.
6 in Hebrew represents man because I created you on the sixth day. And there are 3 sixes here, meaning man is taking over as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. No God, all man is running things. Man has replaced Me. It is like the tower of Babel, you are tapping into your dominion power and using it without Me. Ultimately that will end in ruin and every evil work.
What am I talking about? A lie of the devil that people, even believers, are deceived by because it follows My teachings and My spiritual and physical laws, but with one major difference, it leaves Me out. It is this lie which is spreading like wildfire today: “You can manifest your healing, manifest your prosperity, manifest the things you want, and change your world by tapping into the power within your own mind. They speak of quantum physics as the dimension they are entering and you release the changes in the body and things around you by practicing gratitude, imagining the you that you want to be and the things you want to happen, loving and being grateful for what you are in these imaginations, and speaking them into being. But this is done by YOUSELF without Me. Yes, positive thinking. Positive thinking is great but not if it puts the power as your own and not My power in you. In fact, some of leaders of this “science” specifically specify: “this is based on science, not on religion, religion only divides people and we should all be one.”
Sounds like the Tower of Babel. Man getting up to Heaven without Me. Sound familiar? Those were the faith declarations of the devil has he tried to rise above the angels and take the throne of the Son of Man and be like Me, the Most High. Isaiah 14:12-14.
Now the whole earth used the same language and the same words. It came about as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. They said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly.” And they used brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar. They said, “Come, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name, otherwise we will be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” The Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. The Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be withheld for them. Genesis 13:1-6.
He is still trying to get an army, a host of men following him into battle against Me to take My power and authority away and take the Kingdom of Heaven itself. And he manages to muster people to do this twice, once at the beginning of the thousand year reign of Christ and again at the end, but, of course, it does not work, a creature can never win over its creator, and you can know that already, so you have no business falling in with him. Revelation 19:11-21.
And this is the tactic that was his final bid on Jesus, just worship him, the devil, and he will give you all the good things you desire without having to obey Me. He is subtly telling you that you can have all this—all My promises—without Me. If you just know what I know, then you can take what I have for yourself without Me. It will just be yours. That is, you can take the principles—My natural and spiritual laws—without Me. Just know how it works (find out for yourself or from godless scientists and academics) and take it without Me. YOU can manifest it without Jesus and without Me by knowing what I know from the laboratory and medical science—and use it yourself to your own advantage.
The devil offers to give you Heaven. But that is not possible. There is only one door to Heaven and it is the same as the Tabernacle in the wilderness, the door that you come through with the unblemished lamb who is your burnt offering upon the bronze altar of judgment that took away your sins and made you born again a new creation in Christ looking just like Me.
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep . . . The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. John 10:1-2; 10-11.
Do not be tricked by a counterfeit positive thinking that is not based on My Word. Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1. The question to ask is, who are you being grateful to? Who are you thanking? Who is manifesting and working this? And the answer is they are not quite sure, it is you yourself or a power you have not identified, such as the “Universe.”
They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Romans 1:25.
It cuts off any personal relationship with Me. What kind of relationship can you have with this higher power that is the Universe? And eternal life is this, that you may know Me, the one true God, and the one I sent, your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. John 17:3. I am the LORD your healer. And I sent My Word to heal you. Psalm 107:20. And I am My Word. To know Me you must know Me through My Word.
This is Adam and Eve all over again. Man taking what is Mine for himself and then using it as if he is God, making it all man and no God. No gratitude is owed to Me in that case only to yourself and the teacher who gave it to you. And you know who the teacher is behind any human teacher or institution teaching that man has no need for God, only for knowledge, and he can do anything. Yes, it is the “god” of this world who took that position by convincing Adam and Eve that all they needed was more knowledge of what was good and what was evil and they could capture what I know and use it to put Me out of their lives. The devil taught them how to tap into their dominion authority and use it for his purposes. A godless society turning away from their maker following him to eternal death as their shepherd. Psalm 49:14.
And there is a fine line here that can confuse the unwary. This doctrine which is labeled “positive thinking,” “new age,” and “manifesting” whatever it is you are desiring, sounds very much like good Bible teaching on renewing your mind with My Word, faith confessions for healing, meditating on My Word day and night (these godless teachings use meditation but not on My Word), calling into being that which does not exist as though it exists until it manifests. It is speaking to the mountain without the first requirement, to have faith in Me.
And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. Mark 11:22-25.
For those who have rejected My Word in the past, this gives them a way to get their healing, prosperity, and dreams without accepting Me but in a way that it is science and not Me. But they are actually using it more like sorcery or witchcraft. It makes you God without God. It is for your glory above Mine. And I will not give My glory to another. Even Jesus told you that He was not seeking His own glory but Mine. He left His glory to Me, and I exalted His Name above every other name.
The devil is a spirit. He can pull you into the occult and make it sound like Me but in it is no salvation.
But I say to you, the rest who are in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not known the deep things of Satan, as they call them—I place no other burden on you. Nevertheless what you have, hold fast until I come. Revelation 2:24-25.
The “positive thinking” to manifest your desires sounds like what godly pastors, teachers, and prophets are teaching about renewing your mind and taking all the benefits that are yours in Christ, but there is a major difference. My people are not just preaching healing, they are preaching the Healer, they are not just preaching prosperity but the One who causes you to profit and teaches you the way you should go, that are not just preaching how to have good things, they are introducing you to the One from whom every good thing given and every perfect gift is from. They are preaching the good news of salvation and of your reconciliation with Me as if sin had never been when you are in Christ Jesus. They are preaching resurrection power that I have put in you, but I am the source. They are not preaching saving yourself without Me, they are preaching the Savior without whom you cannot save yourself.
Everything built on any foundation but My Word is shakable, it is shifting sand, and it cannot last. It can only take you so far but it cannot take you into My Kingdom, it cannot give you eternal life. And if your hopes are limited to this life alone, you are the most pitiable of men.
It is like Pharaoh’s sorcerers and magicians, at first they could mimic right back all the signs and wonders I had given Moses to perform but there came a point where they could no longer emulate what Moses was receiving from Me. Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.” Exodus 8:19. And they backed down. But Pharaoh did not.
Beware of godless philosophies and godless science. I am science in that I made everything that is and know just how it works so there really cannot be a godless science.
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. 1 Timothy 4:1.
I love you. I desire above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. And your soul only prospers when you are walking in the truth. My Word is truth. In other words, when you are eating spirit food (My Word) and not flesh food (the devil’s lies). It is wonderful to have Me, the Most High, and your loving Father, backing you up and building you up. You do not have to do this alone for I am love and the God of all comfort. I am the LORD your Healer. Share the good news with others who have been trapped in rebellion.
In pointing out these things to the brethren, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the sound doctrine which you have been following. But have nothing to do with worldly fables fit only for old women. On the other hand, discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness; for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:6-8.
