And though I have prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Prophecy is founded on wisdom and walked out in love.
In the early days of the church, the members were divided over whether they could buy and eat meat sold at the marketplace that had been sacrificed to idols and was then sold for personal consumption. In fact, in certain pagan cities all the meat sold had been prepared in this way. Some believers said they knew the idol was worthless and it meant nothing and they were free to eat it so long as they had nothing to do with idols, other believers were scandalized by this and would not eat meat that could have been sacrificed to an idol.
All things are lawful, but not all things are profitable; all things are lawful, but not all things edify. Let no one seek just his own good, but each one the other. 1 Corinthians 10:23-24.
Paul, by My Spirit, told them simply to act in love.
Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Give no offense either to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God; just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit but the profit of the many, so that they may be saved. 1 Corinthians 10:31-33.
In Jesus are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, but, although He has so much to tell you, He only spoke out to others as they could process what He was saying at the stage of spiritual growth they had attained at that time.
“I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.” John 16:12-15.
That is why I tell you all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are HIDDEN in Jesus. They are revealed to and by My prophets at the appropriate time. And now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation!
I am revealing more to My prophets in this latter rain of the Spirit than was revealed in the early rain of Pentecost till now. It is time for you to awaken to righteousness. It is time for you, My prophets, to rise up in wisdom spoken in love. For the love of Christ impels you to speak the truth in love. “ Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:24.
The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. All prophecy is done in Him. I have sealed you in Christ by My Spirit and you are to draw all you need and walk in from Him, like the branch in the Vine, if you want to bear fruit that will endure, that is, have lasting, saving affect.
He told you that you who believe in Him would do the works He did and greater works even than those He did while on earth as one of you. How did He do the works He did? All by His Words, which were My Words. He commanded or spoke out the result and then took action. The Word, like calming the storm or healing the centurion’s servant, was enough. My Word is working and active, sharper than a two-edged (in Greek and Hebrew, “two-mouthed” sword). Hebrews 4:12.
When John was in the Spirit in his exile on Patmos, He saw Jesus with the Word depicted as a sharp two edged sword coming out of His mouth. Prophecy is the Sword of the Spirit, which is My living, active, working Word.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, with all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit. Ephesians 6:17-18.
Prophets are ambassadors for Christ as though I am making an appeal through you to others to be reconciled to Me through Christ Jesus. You are to be prophets of the New and everlasting Covenant of Love. I want everyone at the marriage feast of the Lamb. And I want them there clothed in Christ for this is the invitation I have given you to come in with your entrance already assured. You are called to prophesy to others of their reconciliation in Christ as holy, blameless and without reproach. He made peace by the blood of the Cross.
Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you. 2 Peter 1:10-11.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:17-20.
Live in Christ, live in My Word, and live as a new creation. The person you once were before taking Jesus as Lord and being born again as My child and sealed in the New and everlasting Covenant by My Spirit died with Christ. All is new. The old man that walked in the flesh has passed away and should no longer control you for when I raised Christ from the dead, I raised you with Him and seated you with Him at My right hand in Heaven. You are born again of My Spirit and My Spirit is in you. Behold, new things have come. You have been born again to Love.
Before all else was love. For I am love. And at the end of time and for eternity, for you who believe, ALL is love. I gave you Christ in love so that you can live in Love forever.
Jesus told the Pharisees they did not qualify as leaders for they had not the love of God in their hearts. Before He appointed Peter to tend and feed His sheep, He asked him only one question, “Do you love Me?”
To be My prophet to My people under the great Shepherd of the sheep you must be as He is in the world. And He is love. And true love walks in wisdom. Not a worldly wisdom but a hidden wisdom revealed by the Spirit.
Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away; but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory. 1 Corinthians 2:6-7.
Wisdom is knowing the right thing to do and say at just the right time so that enduring fruit is produced and it is governed by love. For everything you say and do should find its source in the wisdom that is love, as the branch bears the fruit of the vine. Being on the vine of Christ, you are rooted and grounded in love. My love. And there are no limits on love and no law against true and perfect love.
And a prophet does not have a spirit of fear and timidity but of power, love and a sound mind. Thus, a prophet is fearless to speak out what is needed for edification, exhortation, and encouragement at any given time because perfect love casts out ALL fear. How can it do that? Because if you know Love you know what Love will do and as My dear children, you will do likewise with confident assurance of not only a good result, but the perfect result.
As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of the LORD is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. Psalm 18:30.
The Rock! His work is perfect, for all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He. Deuteronomy 32:4.
Prophets are imitators of Me for they walk in love and agreement with My Word. Jesus told those in Covenant to be perfect as I am perfect. And the perfect man controls his tongue, i.e., what he says, and thus he can control his entire body.
A prophet without love for Me and for My people is nothing but a clanging gong.
If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And though I have prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-2.
Without Me you can do nothing and I am love. So without true love you have nothing worthwhile. I am, that is, Love is, your great reward. In My presence there is fullness of joy and delights at My right hand forever. There is nothing but pure love in Heaven and that is the atmosphere I want you to live in on the earth as well. That is the atmosphere in and around Me.
As a prophet you must be an umpire of your thoughts and words. There are certain lines your thoughts and words must not cross or it is a foul that will pull you temporarily out of the game and cancel the victory you thought you had. Learn to cast out unholy, immoral, idle, malicious, angry and similar thoughts. You do not have to dwell on these things just because the devil shoots them at you. Put them out immediately by thinking upon and speaking My prophetic Word instead so that you are always ready to pick up what I am saying rather than occupying yourself with the tormenting thoughts of the world, the flesh, and the devil.
The words of the wise heard in quietness are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools. Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good. Ecclesiastes 9:17-18.
The wisdom of the world is devilish, self-seeking, and cunning, it will destroy to get ahead. The wisdom from above is pure, peaceable, reasonable, kind, gracious, noble, and filled with good fruit to the blessing of all.
For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. Proverbs 2:6-7.
Wise words are prophetic words for they calm and bring reason into chaotic disputes.
Wisdom comes from spending time in My Word and from being filled with the Holy Spirit. I gave wisdom and skill in crafts and preparing all the articles and furnishings of the tabernacle to Bezalel and Oholiab by My Spirit. What I call you to do I give you wisdom and skill to do, I create you anew in Christ Jesus as My masterpiece and call you to good works like He did and greater prepared for you in advance that you might enjoy them.
And that is the office of prophet, to be anointed with My Spirit and power and go about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil. And the weapons of your warfare are not carnal but spiritual, taking down strongholds and every imagination that is not from Me. I told you that a prophet is an umpire of his thoughts and words. Avoid worldly godless chatter and keep it out of our thoughts. And never be imagining the harsh words you will say to someone who is irritating you, instead by speaking edification, exhortation and correction into their lives and your own.
By wisdom a house is built (edify), and by understanding it is established (exhort); and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches (encourage, comfort and console). Proverbs 24:3-4.
I love you. I have put My Words in your mouth and My Spirit in you and on you. And that is Covenant. You are well equipped to be My prophet, My ambassador of reconciliation.
The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD, and He will delight in the fear of the LORD. Isaiah 11:2-3.
