And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by the Word of His power. Hebrews 1:3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
My Words have power in them. They have My power in them and when tapped into with your faith they produce the promise contained in the Word. It is your faith as you speak them that releases My power that is in them. A prophet must be skillful in delivering My Word with faith so that it goes out with miracle producing power.
But the power being released into individual lives also depends upon their reception of the Word for the power to release in them. That is why hearts hardened against Him grieved My Son, because they could not receive the power in the Words He delivered to heal them, provide for them, and save them.
In fact, He went so far as to tell the Pharisees that by not giving His Word a place in their hearts they were seeking to kill Him.
I know that you are Abraham’s descendants; yet you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. John 8:37.
What was He talking about? The eternal life that was in Him. Adam had killed that and now they were trying again, though born into the Covenant made to Abraham as his descendants biologically, that Covenant was based on faith in My Word and whether you join into Covenant with Me is up to you. It is for all the descendants but there comes a point where you individually must say “yes” to Me for yourself. Covenant is personal and so is faith. It is YOUR faith that determines your victory.
But prophecy targeted at nations, rulers, authorities, and those in power will come to pass when My Words to you are delivered in faith.
Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, “Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, who lives in Samaria. There he is, in the vineyard of Naboth, where he has gone down to take possession of it. You shall speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD: “Have you murdered and also taken possession?” And you shall speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD: “In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth, dogs shall lick your blood, even yours.” 1 Kings 21:17-19.
And this came to pass.
Do not release My Words without having faith that what you say will come to pass.
Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Mark 11:22-23.
My prophet Samuel brought about change in Israel. He was a light in the darkness that ended the dark period after all who had known Joshua had died out and My Word was not known in Israel. And where My Word is not known every evil work begins to manifest and chaos ensues. Each person became a law unto themselves and did whatever they thought right.
In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes. Judges 21:25.
But one prophet changed all that. I honored and promoted him, for since a child serving Eli in the tabernacle, he honored and promoted Me.
Thus Samuel grew and the LORD was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. All Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was confirmed as a prophet of the LORD. And the LORD appeared again at Shiloh because the LORD revealed Himself to Samuel at Shiloh by the word of the LORD. 1 Samuel 3:19-21.
Samuel learned to recognize My voice at a very young age and he never stopped listening and speaking My Word, and his fellowship with Me brought all of Israel back to Me. Your faith and fellowship with Me will draw others in with you. And the people found they could rely on his Word coming to pass.
To be a prophet of power you need to first be filled with power. And how do you become filled with power? By being filled with My Word, filled with faith, and filled with the Holy Spirit. My Word is the Word of power, it is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword. My Word is the Sword of the Spirit that takes all thoughts captive for the obedience of Christ and cuts down every lofty thing that exalts itself against Me. Faith, your faith in Me and the one I sent to save you, Jesus, which is the manifestation of My great love for you, is the victory that overcomes the world. And I clothe you with power from on High with My Holy Spirit on you and in you.
And it is you that determines how full you are of all three.
Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:20-22.
First, cleanse yourself. How do you do that? Jesus told His disciples they were clean because of the Word He had spoken to them. John 15:3. And I tell you that He cleanses His Body the Church by the washing of water with the Word. Ephesians 5:26.
How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your Word. Psalm 119:9.
Fill yourself with My Word. And how do you do that? The same way I told Joshua to do it.
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Joshua 1:8.
And I had already told Moses how the people would be full of My Word and ready for every good work, they and their children, so that they could live days of Heaven upon the earth.
“You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, so that your days and the days of your sons may be multiplied on the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, as days of Heaven upon the earth. Deuteronomy 11:18-21.
Psalm 1 also bears witness of how to get filled with My Word as well as Proverbs 4:20-27. Feed your mind with My Word and renew your mind. And a renewed mind is a powerful mind for it is at peace.
And be sure you avoid worldly, idle, and empty chatter, for it will lead to ungodliness, as well as all malice, obscene language, bitter and angry words, grumbling, complaining, and gossiping. These will drain your power and get you depressed. Without joy you will never be full. No joy, no power. My joy is your strength. Jesus gave you His Words so your joy would be full.
These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. John 15:11.
Faith comes from hearing and hearing My Word and faith is released as power when spoken and acted upon. And that is the spirit of faith, believe in your heart and speak with your mouth. So the more Word you get in you, the more faith you have in your heart, until you are so full of faith that you have to speak. For the mouth speaks from the heart’s abundance.
Your Word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You. Psalm 119:11.
And how do you get filled with the Holy Spirit? Sing praise and sing in the Spirit. Speak and sing in tongues and also with the understanding.
Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourself and one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father. Ephesians 5:15-20.
I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also. 1 Corinthians 14:15.
And when the Holy Spirit fell upon the believers on Pentecost Sunday the sign was tongues and so much joy that those who gathered around thought the believers were drunk!
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance. Acts 2:4.
With joy you will draw living water at the springs of Salvation. Drink from the fountain of living water that the gift of My Holy Spirit has opened in your heart bubbling up to eternal life, and not just a couple of sips, drink until rivers flow out of you so all who thirst can come to receive.
And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. Acts 13:52.
The more you drink, the more full you become.
Be filled with all the fullness of the godhead bodily. I give grace without measure, do not limit Me.
That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:17-21.
I am love and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one with Me, both proceed out of My deepest depths of who I am. And being one we are love. Pure love. I have poured My love in your heart by the gift of My Holy Spirit. The living water is liquid love. My love is better than wine.
“We will rejoice in you and be glad; we will extol your love more than wine. Rightly do they love you.” Song of Songs 1:4.
I love you. Never run on empty again, get filled with My Word, get filled with faith, and get filled with My Holy Spirit. Do not be sluggish but diligent about this for it has great reward. Prophets have to speak with power or their words will be snatched by Satan.
