Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. Psalm 55:22.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

A perfect life, a complete and mature life in Me, flows out of relationship, a deep relationship with Me and My Son. And that is eternal life, which is a quality of life that you who have received My Son have now. To know Me, the one true God, and the one I sent Jesus Christ, is the foundation of eternal life. For I was in Him reconciling you to Myself not counting your sins and offenses against you but taking them away from you and putting them on Him. And He took care of them, nailing the debt you owed from sin to the cross and paying it in full in His own flesh by His own eternal blood to work an eternal redemption. And you received His righteousness, which is My righteousness, as a gift from My life to yours.

How do you get this life? It is in Yeshuah (Salvation, Jesus), but you have to unlock it by the renewing of your mind to who you are in Him and who I am to you in Him. For I have given you the greatest gift of all in Jesus the Messiah, the Christ.

The Greek word in the New Testament for life or eternal life is “zoe.” This life is the primary purpose Jesus came. Jesus said, “I am come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly,” John 10:10.  This life is a spiritual substance that flows in heaven from My throne; it flows like a river (John 7:37-39). I AM overflowing with this life and I share it with you in Jesus.

For Jesus is true God and true man, joining the two of us in one seamless nature that fits your humanity into My divinity and My divinity into your humanity in a perfect flow of fellowship.

You can have more and more of this life flowing in you. You can have this life in ever-increasing measures as you are filled with My Word and the Holy Spirit.

He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. John 3:33-36.

You can walk in the light of this life and in the consciousness of what you have in Christ as you learn more and more of the “words of this life” (Acts 5:20).But the essential of eternal life is not duration, it is quality.  I have given you a new quality of life in Christ. Eternal life is the present actual possession of the believer because of your relationship with Christ, that is, covenant, and that it will one day extend its domain to the sphere of a new heavenly body is assured by the resurrection of Christ.

And when you have come to know Me, you learn from Me how to live the Godkind of life, My life shared with you. And that is a life of no worry and no fear. It is a life of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. It is entering into My rest in the midst of a tumultuous world, it is knowing without a doubt in a confused world, it is purpose in a world that is seeking idle pursuits, it is no anxiety in a world of high anxiety, it is no fear in a world full of fear. It is the life of mutual love that gives all to the beloved.

My instruction, My commandments, My Words, become Words of life to you that open the eyes of your heart to the way of Salvation that is beyond worldly analysis and that gives you peace beyond understanding even in the midst of violent storms.

By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked. 1 John 2:3-6.

I shall run the way of Your commandments, for You will enlarge my heart. Psalm 119:32.

Do you remember Paul’s calmness and lack of anxiety in the midst of a violent storm on the sea when he was being taken prisoner to Rome? I had warned him of it ahead of time and tried to restrain the captain and crew from journeying into it, but they would not listen to Me or Paul and went. And when the storm I warned them of hit, everyone on the boat except My servant Paul was in dire dread and fear, abandoning all hope of being saved. But Paul calmly stood in their midst and said,

“Men, you ought to have followed my advice and not to have set sail from Crete an incurred this damage and loss. Yet now I urge you to keep up your courage, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. For this very night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood before me, saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has granted you all those who are sailing with you.’ Therefore, keep up your courage, men, for I believe God that it will turn out exactly as He said. But we must run aground on a certain island.” Acts 27:21-26.

He belonged to Me and he served Me, he was confident in that. He had opened his heart to Me and had a relationship with Me where he could hear from Me in the midst of the storm and get just the Word he needed to sustain him. And it did not just sustain him, but also the rest of the prisoners and crew aboard that ship.

The Lord (Adonai) LORD (YHWH) has given Me the tongue of disciples, That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple. Isaiah 50:4.

And the storm got worse for another fourteen days but it did not move Paul one bit off My Word. He knew Me in whom he had believed. And it all came out as I had said and as he believed. He had learned to cast his care on Me so that in any circumstance he found himself in, he was content. Content at the adversity? No, content at the deliverance. He wrote:

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:23.

What was Paul’s secret to rejoice always even in the darkest prison? Paul said he belonged to Me, that is Covenant, and he said he served Me. How do you serve Me who made Heaven and earth and really has no need of anything? How do you serve anyone? You do what they tell you to do and you are loyal and faithful in doing it. And Paul did what I told him to do, he knew scripture well, he cast all his care on Me because I cared for him.

Jesus knew I was always with Him and never left Him alone. He called on Me and I answered. And He told you why: He always did what pleased Me.

I have no greater joy than this, to hear of My children walking in the truth. 3 John 1:4.

Jesus only said and did My Word. Why? My Word is truth and My Words have eternal life in them. The faithful and the true.

“For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.” John 12:49-50

When you know Me and see what My Word can and does do for you in your spirit, soul, and body, as well as all the circumstances you or others get you into in your life it is then that every Word that proceeds from Me becomes your treasure and your way to more treasure by unlocking its depths, My deep things, into your life.

How great are Your works, O LORD! Your thoughts are very deep. Psalm 92:5.

For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God. 1 Corinthians 2:10-12.

Man does not live on bread alone, but on EVERY Word that proceeds from My mouth. And it has to be taught by the Spirit.

“I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. John 16:12-13.

There are certain things that if you catch hold of them  they will open to you the treasures of wisdom and knowledge that will give you a perfect life. For My Words are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:22.

See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete. Colossians 2:8-10.

If you love Me, and those who love Me I know and protect (“Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.

With a long life I will satisfy him and let him see My salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16), you will keep My Commandments and I will come and make My home with you.

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. John 14:23-24.

If you love Me with a love that is true, keeping My Word is your desire because you have tasted My Words and what they do and seen that they are good. Love opens you to a flood of My love and My love is expressed in My Word.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39.

So if you want a good and perfect life, a long satisfying life, there is only one way you will do it: By keeping My Word, which is treasuring it, safe-guarding it in your heart, hearing it, speaking it, answering contrary thoughts and circumstances with it and thus casting them down, answering the devil with it, but above all digging in your heels and DOING IT.

But how do you do that? Only one way: By renewing and controlling your mind. And this will bring you peace that surpasses all understanding. It will make your life sweet.

So let us start with the number one command of Mine that you must do it to have the good days you are longing for. And you find it in both the Old Testament and the New Testament, giving you two witnesses to establish the fact. In fact, I will give you three witnesses from My Word and I could give you many more on this so you know it must be of paramount importance for you to have the sweet life of rest in Me.

Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you. Psalm 55:22.

This is from a psalm of David, a maskil, a wisdom psalm. This Word commands you to cast (in Hebrew: shalak (שָׁלַךְ): to throw, fling, cast) your burdens (in Hebrew, yehab (יְהָב): a lot, what is given, meaning things that happen and befall you in life whether from within or without but things you do not want to be there, even evil family members that fell into your lot in life) upon Me and I will sustain (in Hebrew, kul (כּוּל): to comprehend, understand, encompass and contain you, sustain, support, nourish, provide) you.

And the second witness, it was taught to My apostle Peter by the Spirit:

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7.

The word there for “anxiety” in the Greek in which it was written is “merimna (μέριμνα),” which means care, anxiety. Mérimna is from merizo, which means to divide – properly, a part, separated from the whole; showing that worry (anxiety), divides and fractures a person’s being into parts. People say they are falling apart or are all broken up when they are worried and anxious and that is just what this word is about.

The word “merimna” is only used in a small number of Scriptures and three of them are used in the same parable of My Son in the three gospels that recount it. It is the word used for the cares and anxieties of this life that choke off the growth and harvest of My Word in the hearts of those who receive My Word.

And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word  but the worries [merimna] of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. Mark 4:18-19.

Keeping your cares, worries and anxieties and dwelling upon them make you unfruitful and choke off My Word, and yet it is only My Word that holds the solution to all those worries, cares, and anxieties that are distracting and tormenting you. Many were on that ship in the storm with Paul, and I was trying to talk with all of them, but only one cast his care on Me and took his attention off the storm, and that was the one who had taken the time to know My Word and seek a relationship with Me. And here is what he did that My Spirit taught him and now teaches you:

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

This is a command not to be anxious about anything, but then he tells you how you can do this, by giving it to Me for solution in prayer and petition, but not in a frantic, begging manner, but with confidence of certain help and good results expressed in thanksgiving once you have made the request known to Me. And then refuse to dwell on it further but be watching in love for the good things to come from My working on the situation.

And he adds more instruction on how to do this and maintain peace in your heart once you cast the care on Me in prayer and petition:

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:4-9.

Casting your care on Me knowing I will take care of it, and then refusing to worry since you have put it in My hands and are joyfully anticipating a good outcome, should make you rejoice in the midst of a trial, storm, or other life threatening event. Not in the trial but in that you have a way out.

If it is sickness, you have a healer. If it is financial lack, you have a good Shepherd and you will want for nothing. If it is about doing a project at school or work, you have a Helper who teaches you all things. And I am ever present as your helper.

Thus, the first principle of a perfect life you love to live is that when worries, fears, trials, tests, mountains, and storms arise, you must resist those troubling thoughts and put them down by referring the problem to Me and thanking Me for giving you wisdom and a good outcome by protecting and delivering you. And you must also cast out those worries from you that you have given to Me by quoting passages of Scripture that apply to cast those worries down, such as “No weapon formed against me will prosper and every tongue raised against me in judgment, I will condemn for My vindication is from the Lord!”

And when those thoughts try again to trouble you, though you have referred them over to Me,  but you will know you are allowing them again when you are troubled and not rejoicing at all I am doing for you in Christ. The minute you begin feeling the influence of the unclean spirits of fear, depression, anxiety, hopelessness, resentment, bitterness, panic, and the like you know you must take authority over that by My Word. Cast all your care on Me so I can care of it, but still go ahead and answer them and cast them out. Do not to allow yourself to think on anything about yourself or others with fear and agitation again but only see the victory, only see My love, care, comfort, forgiveness, mercy, and POWER working on your behalf no matter how you got into the mess you are in or are anticipating you will get into for things you have done.

Above all guard your heart, for from it flow the issues of life. I have given you My peace, do NOT LET your hearts be troubled, do NOT LET them be afraid. John 14:27. Hang onto that peace by fixing your attention on My Words of life and not the world’s words of death.

Cast your care on Me and cast down all imaginations and contrary thoughts once you have put your concerns over for Me to work with you on the problem. And expect Me to make it all work out for your good no matter how deep you are in the pit. Remember Joseph, Jacob’s son, went from the pit his brother’s threw him in, to slavery, to prison, and then to the palace to rule Egypt with Pharaoh in great riches and peace for the rest of his life. He cast all his care on Me, worked with excellence wherever he was, and walked with Me through the worst to the best.

Cast your care and seek revelation, impartation, and illumination in all things.

Cast your care and do not lean on your own understanding and inner dialogues in the mental arena, move up higher to My thoughts and words in the Spirit.

Cast your care and cast out fear by faith filled words of healing and provision.

Cast your care on Me and cast out worry by thinking on and speaking My love for you and My power.

When the three enemy armies advanced towards Jerusalem to conquer it, the people went to My house and put their attention off the problem onto Me. They prayed simply:

“For we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” 2 Chronicles 20:12.

They had put their eyes in the right place. And that is what casting your care on Me is all about. It is putting your attention on the source of all help, power, life, joy, healing, peace and righteousness and off the problem that seems beyond what you can do. It is looking at the One that has all the answers in one word: Salvation. And that is salvation in every situation. And it is looking to and living your life through the One who loved you and gave His life for you.

I have given you a wonderful invitation to a life of celebration instead of agitation. And that is what all My commandments are—invitations to cooperate with the best solutions and actions that will bless you and your life to be fruitful upon the earth.

I, the creator and sustainer of all things, have offered to take care of all your needs if you just trust Me enough to hand them over to Me no matter what they are and refuse to take the care of them yourself. Just follow My lead. My Spirit will give you the answers. Just like He did for David, Peter, and Paul, the three witnesses I have given you herein.

I love you. Let Me take your cares and solve them for you while you sing for joy under My wings. Today we talked about obeying My Word not to worry but to cast your cares on Me and in the next life lesson I will teach you more about controlling your mind by answering thoughts that try to stay and torment you and what your first response should be when you fall into sin. And, of course, the role of thanksgiving for victory.
