Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, but happy is he who keeps the law (Torah). Proverbs 29:18.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

To run a race you need a destination. To build a house you need a plan. To film a movie you need a script, actors, sets, filming crew, editors, designers, and multiple other services to put it together. To do something with your life, you need a vision, a plan, and a firm purpose to see it through to completion.

And it all begins in your heart, in your mind, in your mouth, and in what you write down. Your tongue needs to be controlled by your vision. I told Moses, once I gave him the plan for the vision for his life and that of My people Israel, that I would be with his mouth so he could carry out the vision.

“Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say.” Exodus 3:12.

My Son told the same to His disciples about giving witness of Him when they were brought before kings and governors for His Name’s sake:

So make up your mind not to worry beforehand how to defend yourselves. For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. Luke 21:14-15.

Where there is no vision, there no direction, no restraint on activities, and no purpose for your life. A life where you just let go and wander through, going around the same mountain over and over and over. You will speak idle words and live idle lives. You will be like a barren bush in the desert that does not see good when it comes.

For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a trustworthy statement; and concerning these things I want you to speak confidently, so that those who have believed God will be careful to engage in good deeds. These things are good and profitable for men. Titus 3:3-8.

I formed you, knit you, in your mother’s womb, and I had written in My scroll before you came forth into your time and place all the precious plans I have for your life and they outnumber the sands of the sea and the stars of the sky. Why? Because they cover now and eternity in My Kingdom. They never end, grace on top of grace.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:4-10.

You will see that those who lived lives filled with good deeds, provision, and success had visions of their purpose and assignment. And some started with much clear instructions than others, but it was always an unfolding process of preparation and training before the destination became clear.

With Abraham, it was a vision to leave where he was and go where I showed him to be blessed and be a blessing, to make his name great and bless every nation on earth. And he obeyed. And then I gave him a vision of the number of his descendants, before even one was born, by showing him the stars in the night sky. And he believed Me. And later I had him lift up his eyes to see the vision of all the land I was promising to his descendants. And so began a walk with Me that began the line from which I would send My Son, the Messiah, your Savior into the world according to the flesh.

In Abraham I found a man who would make covenant with Me and teach his children and his entire household staff to follow Me and keep My Words. Keep that in mind.

He entered fellowship with Me and was ready to do whatever I told him because he trusted in My goodness and knew I was able to bring to pass whatever I promised. He had faith in My Words and I credited that to him as righteousness. He became My witness, a prophet, and an intercessor. I taught him the gospel ahead of time and he saw the day of Jesus and rejoiced.

His son Isaac had direction from Me of where to go and how to sow seed and be fruitful and he listened and obeyed. He passed My Word on to his sons, but one, Jacob, had a heart for Me. He sought the blessing and I gave him visions of how to prosper and showed him revelations of the joining of Heaven and earth in Jesus in the vision of the ladder on Beth-el. And from his twelve sons I formed the twelve tribes of Israel, for I changed his name from Jacob which means supplanter or cheater, to Israel, My prince and overcomer. And I gave him prophetic utterance in his final blessing over his sons, particularly over the tribe of Judah, from whom Shiloh came.

To his son, Joseph, I gave dreams and visions that he ran with until I promoted him to the position of authority he had dreamed of. And he did not lose that vision over thirteen long years of slavery and prison, instead those years became his preparation for the promotion in store—he learned the skills of growing crops and bringing abundant harvests which he had not known in the house of his father, who raised flocks and herds, and I taught him the skills of management and government, even of prisoners, in his years supervising the prison and I taught him the interpretation of dreams. Thus, when he was promoted by Pharaoh, he knew how to handle the farming in the seven years of plenty to increase the yield, constructing waterways and irrigation of the crops, and he knew how to manage and govern the people to keep order in the seven years of famine to handle an orderly distribution with no confusion or rebellion. And he gave witness to Me as he always made known that his wisdom, ability to prosper, and his blessings came from Me.

Never put your vision on hold and give up because then your life will become one of no restraint or focus. Look at any time and any circumstances that seem to be blocking your vision coming to pass, that is, if you are walking in integrity and doing your work unto Me, as training and steppingstones to reaching the fullness of your goal. Do not draw back, give up, and wander away with no plan or purpose in disappointment.

Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. But My righteous one shall live by faith; and if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10:35-38.

When I introduced Myself to Moses on Mt. Horeb as he tended his father-in-law’s sheep, I gave him the vision of the redemption of the people from slavery in Egypt and the gift I would give them of the conquest of the land I had promised Abraham’s descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey, where they would become a great and mighty nation. And then I led him step by step along that plan. And as he followed each step, more and more revelation opened before him, including the revelation of the plans for My tabernacle in the wilderness, and that vision he wrote down so all those I gave vision and skill to could run with it and build a structure like there has never been again. No man has ever again done the mighty works I entrusted into the hands of Moses and yet he was the most humble man on earth. And that is key. Humility comes before riches and honor.

Joshua was content and faithful to be the servant of Moses, but all the time I was preparing him for a great position of leadership and responsibility. I gave Joshua direction for his vision of leading a multitude of people into the promised land to conquer it and it was by meditating, hearing, and speaking My Word day and night and noting else. And as he and the people obeyed I spoke strategies and battle plans to Joshua and fought with them by My heavenly hosts, the angelic armies, the captain and prince of whom Joshua had a vision when entering the promised land. Jesus, of course in a preincarnate appearance. His goings for are from eternity.

And David knew he was anointed for king long before it came to pass when My prophet Samuel anointed him in the midst of his brothers at the age of just 17. But before that vision came to pass, David had thirteen years of hiding from King Saul to avoid premature death. But he did not waste those years, he learned worship to save him from harm and he learned how to rule with the four hundred outlaws who ran to find safety with him. He took them and taught them so well to be a people of strength and integrity, a people who praised and blessed My Name with him, that they became his mighty men that led the armies of Israel in great victories when David became king of all Israel. David knew how to draw people into his vision which was always My vision for him and for the people of whom I made him the shepherd.

And in those years of trial, David never once lost hope or his faith in My Words. He kept the vision before him and it came to pass at the proper time. He did not hurt Saul though Saul tried to kill him. David left the details to Me and would never do anything that was contrary to My Word which told him to honor the anointed king, which Saul was though he sinned.

And think of Mary, the one who was to be the mother of My Son according to the flesh. The angel came and told her the vision and she accepted with humility and love and ran with it. And she never regretted her choice but pondered and treasured everything that unfolded before her in her heart. And she followed Jesus to the cross where she stood in silent support of the one she loved as My Word came to pass and then went on to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit, being in the company of the believers on Pentecost. The Spirit had given her Jesus years before and now Jesus gave her the Spirit forever.

And Paul received the heavenly vision from the risen Jesus on the road to Damascus and he never returned to his former way of life. He forgot what lay behind him and ran forward focused on the goal before him of his high calling in Christ.

He always cherished and remembered the vision that Jesus had given him, and what Jesus said to him on that day, even in his defense before King Agrippa, for Jesus had told Paul, “For this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness not only to the things which you have seen, but also to the things in which I will appear to you; rescuing you from the people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you, to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’  “So, King Agrippa, I did not prove disobedient to the heavenly vision.” Acts 26:16-19.

Come to Me and let Me give you your vision. To every person I reveal the vision. It comes to those who have hearts for Me and want to do what pleases Me. So to know the plan for your life it is simple: Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you. Watch for it in prayer with your tablet in hand, for you must write down the vision when it comes or you will not remember it when you are no longer in the Spirit. Many of you have heard Me speaking in the night, but you did not get up to write it down and in the morning it was gone. I had spoken the vision to Abraham’s father but he never got to the promised land but settled in Haran and the busyness of his life dulled the vision down and made it look unpracticable.

I will stand on my guard post and station myself on the rampart; and I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, and how I may reply when I am instructed. Then the LORD answered me and said, “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay. Behold, as for the proud one, his soul is not right within him; but the righteous will live by his faith. Habakkuk 2:1-4.

There is much instruction here. First, to see your vision you have to lift up your eyes up to see what I am seeing. I give you hind’s feet to run on your high places so you can see things as I do and I can open up the visions of Heaven that you might run your race with these in view. You cannot be multi-tasking and going on social media, answering every phone call, texting people, and listening to the news in what you are calling prayer time. It is fine during your day when you do other things that are required by your work and responsibilities as you keep Me in mind for direction, help, correction, protection, and guidance but there must be a time when you come to just fellowship with Me over My Word. Put Me in your day planner. After all you make time for everything and everyone else. Do not ignore the most important one to your life and for eternity in your agenda. Prioritize, putting the one thing necessary first and all else with flow from there.

And as you inquire and I answer you will know when you have hit the treasure vein, quickly write down the precious treasures I am revealing to you and read them again and again so that you keep your goal in view.

And it is then you begin to plan, to collect the resources, to show your plans to others who will help you by supplying their skills to work on it too. And keep seeking My input and advice. And keep writing down what I tell you.

That was the way David gave Solomon the plans and the resources to build the temple in Jerusalem. When the hand of My inspiration came upon him, he simply wrote down all the intricate plans. “All this,” said David, “the LORD made me understand in writing by His hand upon me, all the details of this pattern.” 1 Chronicles 28:19

And this vision of building Me a magnificent house had been on his mind for years and every time I gave him victory over an attacking nation, he took their treasuries and stored them up in Jerusalem for the building of My temple. And his mighty men did the same. And when Solomon was about to be anointed as king all gave their riches with joy with more than enough to build a magnificent temple.

Then David gave to his son Solomon the plan of the porch of the temple, its buildings, its storehouses, its upper rooms, its inner rooms and the room for the mercy seat; and the plan of all that he had in mind, for the courts of the house of the LORD, and for all the surrounding rooms, for the storehouses of the house of God and for the storehouses of the dedicated things; also for the divisions of the priests and the Levites and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD and for all the utensils of service in the house of the LORD; 1for the golden utensils, the weight of gold for all utensils for every kind of service; for the silver utensils, the weight of silver for all utensils for every kind of service; and the weight of gold for the golden lampstands and their golden lamps, with the weight of each lampstand and its lamps; and the weight of silver for the silver lampstands, with the weight of each lampstand and its lamps according to the use of each lampstand; and the gold by weight for the tables of showbread, for each table; and silver for the silver tables; and the forks, the basins, and the pitchers of pure gold; and for the golden bowls with the weight for each bowl; and for the silver bowls with the weight for each bowl; 18 and for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the model of the chariot, even the cherubim that spread out their wings and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD. “All this,” said David, “the LORD made me understand in writing by His hand upon me, all the details of this pattern.” 1 Chronicles 28:11-19.

And these were not the only plans and visions David had from Me and for Me. He also designed and made stringed instruments and composed songs of praise and thanksgiving unto Me from when he was unknown by the people of Israel as he watched his father’s sheep on the hillsides of Bethlehem and he continued that through the years he hid in caves from Saul and did not stop even when you was busy with governing My people Israel with all the weight of the government upon him. But he knew how to receive the answers he needed and the plans for the many projects he undertook while he gave priority to time with Me in worship. And he made the plan for the drawing of lots for the 288 Levites he appointed to sing praises to musical instruments 24/7 before Me.

David was looking to honor Me, that was his vision, and he pursued that relentlessly. And I honor those who honor Me.

What is your vision?  If you don’t have one, it is because you do not know My Word. My Son has given you very clear instruction on what you are to be doing: And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20.

“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:8.

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:15-18.

And He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. Luke 24:46-48.

And My Son cannot return until the gospel of the Kingdom has been preached to every people group and nation. It is time for you to get the vision done.

Do not be idle in the market place all day. I send many across your path that are ready for the Word that have never heard it. Be My witness. Be looking for opportunities, be praying for others to open their heart so when you witness to them the good news they are ready to receive it. And as you go about your day, be listening to Me to see who I point you to so that they too can be saved and come to know the truth.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise wins souls. Proverbs 11:30.

I have given you a vision. You are to be My ambassadors in the world. For you are in the world but you are not of the world. Catch the vision and take it seriously. It is the sacred charge. You are now priests and kings.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20.

But be aware, I do have a vision that is just for your life that no one else had fill. No one else will do. Only you. And I am ready to share it. Call to Me and I will tell you great and mighty things you could not know. But once you know, run and don’t give up hope. It will come to pass if you pursue it. Read Isaiah 49. You were born for such a time as this. You have a plan to run with.

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. John 20:21-22.

I sent Jesus to seek out and save the lost and to undo the works of the devil. Go and do the same.

“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10.

The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to undo the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8.

I love you. Once you have the vision and make the plan with Me, speak it. Once you know that those things are yours then do as I do and call those things that be not as though they be until they are. Romans 4:17. That is what Abraham did. He did not put his attention on his own body and  that of Sarah for it was impossible that the would have a child at age 95 and 100, but he put it on My Word and by faith called it in. And he did become the father of many nations, both physical and spiritual, for when you are in Christ, you too are a descendant of Abraham. Galatians 3:29.  Never limit your vision by what you see in the temporal. Your vision is spiritual though it manifests in the temporal.
