But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being (shalom) fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. Isaiah 53:5.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

A righteous, peace-filled, and joyful life lived in the light of My presence close to Me, comes from being secure in your confidence of My favor upon you. And how do you arrive at this blessed assurance? You must feed on peace, that is, on shalom, and continue in it, that is, practice it at all times. You must know that Jesus purchased your shalom by His blood. He made SHALOM through the blood of His cross. He took your sins and made you right with Me. You are at peace with Me. I have reconciled you to Myself in Christ.

For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven. Colossians 1:19-20.

In Him, and in His Name on you, I have given you the Blessing of Shalom and a new and living way right into the Holy of Holies, My throne of grace. And it is a path of peace, not anxiety, not strive, not fear that I will not give you the best, but an assurance that I will.

And Jesus did not just purchase shalom for you, He also gave you His Shalom peace. You who believe have Shabbat Shalom always, for He is with you always.

“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also. In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.” John 14:18-20.

Shalom is wholeness and well-being in every area of your life. You will see it translated as peace most often, but also as “all is well,” wholeness, well-being, and prosperity. It could be defined as the peace that passes understanding. It is knowing everything is right between you and Me because of Jesus, and because of that, knowing your life can be filled with good days—with miracles, signs and wonders because He purchased your shalom.

Surely our sicknesses and griefs He Himself bore, and our pains and sorrows He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being (shalom) fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD  has caused the iniquity of us all

To fall on Him. Isaiah 53:3-6.

We are at peace. Peace on earth, My good will towards men. Rejoice! For a child has been born to you, a Son has been given you and on His shoulder dominion rests. He is Messiah, Savior, and Lord. His Name is Wonderful, Counselor, God-hero, Father forever, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace. Isaiah 9:6-7. No end to the increase of shalom when He is in charge of the helm of your life. You life, no matter the circumstances, that come will be an oasis of peace within.

“But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, little among the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity . . . And He will arise and shepherd His flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD His God. And they will remain, because at that time He will be great to the ends of the earth. This One will be our shalom. Micah 5:2, 4-5.

And if you remain in that shalom peace by knowing that in Christ I have made you righteous, then oppression will be far from you.

“In righteousness you will be established; you will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; and from terror, for it will not come near you. If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you. Isaiah 54:14-15.

I can work miracles in your life, miracles that you will keep and the devil cannot take away from you.

And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has saved you and made you well; go into peace and be healed of your affliction.” Mark 5:34.

At the time of Noah, men were striving against Me and their evil thoughts and deeds divided us, but now in Jesus it is not so. My Spirit no longer strives with your spirit, He and your spirit dwell together in peace for, in Jesus, I have made you righteous with My own righteousness and your sins and offenses I remember no more.

But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written, “Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31.

He tore down the dividing wall. He opened up the gate that was shut to man so he could not enter My Kingdom. He is the door for the sheep. And neither the devil nor any demon in hell can stop you from entering that door if you will receive Jesus as Lord and then live rooted and grounded in Him, that is, rooted and grounded in shalom. Then no storm can get you off course. Nothing can take you off the everlasting rock of shalom. One of My Covenant promise Names is YHWH Shalom. The LORD is peace.

You will keep in perfect peace (shalom, shalom) those whose minds are stayed on You, because they trust in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the everlasting Rock. Isaiah 26:3-4.

Shalom comes from knowing Me and knowing what I have freely given you in Christ.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Jesus came to bring about My plan for your life and undo what the devil had done to steal, kill, and destroy your destiny. And what is My plan for your life? Shalom and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11. There is great joy and peace in believing. I desire that in all things you prosper and are in good health even as your soul prospers. A prosperous soul is one in complete peace, complete shalom. And that is walking in the truth. No anxiety about anything but complete trust in Me, that comes by knowing Me, that I will make everything work out for your good because of our relationship of mutual love and trust. And that I have given you that relationship with Me in Christ.

But how do stay in the shalom blessing? Jesus told you. He gave you His shalom, for He always does what pleases Me and we are as One in all, He lived and walked in the blessing of shalom, and He gave that to you the night before He gave His life for you, but He told you that you had a part.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14:27.

You have to practice peace. When things come against you, you must respond with shalom, not with fear, panic, hysteria, no, with a mind full of My promises, My Blessing of shalom.

Do you remember the Shunamite woman? Elisha promised her a son within that year and it came to pass that she and her husband had a son. But some years later, the small boy stayed out in the fields too long in the sun with his father, fainted, and then died in her lap. She did not panic. The prophet had spoken My Word that she would have her desired son and she was not stepping off that word no matter what. She went to get Elisha and her husband asked her why since she had  not told anyone the boy had died. All she responded was “Shalom.” All was well. She practiced peace in what looked like anything but peace. And what happened? A miracle. I raised her son from the dead through My prophet Elisha. Her faith released resurrection power. Peace is the path to My power.

The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5-7.

You must know My Word on what is taking place and answer with that. And you must hand the situation over to Me to take care of. In fact, let Me take care of everything in your life with you. Cast your cares on Me, seek My wisdom for the answer, and be at peace, doing whatever I tell you to do. And how do you know the Scripture that applies to your situation? By having been feeding and continuing to feed on My Words. A continuous feed.

Let Me explain a constant feed. You do not eat just once and think you never need to eat again because you have eaten. In fact, most people eat multiple times each day and sometimes even snacks in between meals and at night. And certainly to eat just once a week is not enough. But many people rarely eat My Word, that is, partake in My Word by reading it, hearing it, speaking it, meditating on it (chewing it), and digesting it. It has not become part of them. It is not growing and increasing in them.

If you have heard a Scripture and mentally consented to it but never applied it to your life you have not eaten it. And if someone is preaching or teaching that passage again, do not just think you already know it. You will never grow if  you think you know and refuse to chew on it again. There is always new layers of revelation in My Word as you grow in your understanding of who I am and that My Word is living and working in you.

Today there is a famine in the land for My Word and that is why you see so many are sick, dying, doing violence, hateful and being hated, depressed, suicidal, confused about who they are and trying to invent someone they are not to be, and I could go on. So consequently they have no answer to the evil one when he comes against them and they have no peace.

I liken My Son to your Shepherd and you as sheep. Learn from that. Sheep are grazers. They are constantly grazing. They eat, and then they rest as they chew on what they eat. They have a cud and they work on a mouthful of food until it is fully digestible.

If you want a lifestyle of purity, integrity, peace, and joy you only can have this by constantly taking in My Word. My Word cleans you, prunes you, purifies you, and transforms you into a new creation. Like a caterpillar to a butterfly. The caterpillar has to eat and eat and eat until it is full enough to die to its old self and become the beautiful, amazing, soaring butterfly that sucks the sweet nectar of flowers and has eyes that see colors and long distances.

How can a person avoid sin? By living according to My Word. And how can you do that? By treasuring and storing My Word in your heart as you feed on the banquet I set before you in the sight of your enemies until it transforms you. You are what you eat, physically and spiritually. What you eat consistently will show. Good or bad.

You cannot live a lifestyle of sin and expect peace. There is no peace for the wicked. My Son told the woman caught in adultery that He did not condemn her but for her to go and sin no more if she did not want something worse to overtake her. The same with the man who had been sick and disabled for 38 years that Jesus sought out by the pool of Bethesda. He told him that now that he was healed to avoid sin so that something worse would not overtake him. If he had returned to a sinful life without feeding on the Word, Satan would come back with seven more demons and steal his healing.

Sin, bitterness, unforgiveness, anxiety, fear, and the like all clog your connection with Me to receive the streams of blessings I am pouring down upon you. My gift of shalom comes with walking with Me in shalom.

And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:18.

I love you. I speak shalom to My people. Psalm 85:8. Do you recall the first word Jesus spoke to His fearful disciples as He walked through the locked doors the day I raised Him from the dead? “Shalom.” They had noting to fear, all was well. He had taken on Himself all that divides you from Me. The Way was clear through Him to Me, and He is My Word.

Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32.
