He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; and to him who orders his way aright I shall show the salvation of God. Psalm 50:23.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Walking and living in the light is a place of honor. And honor runs two ways. I honor those who honor Me. 1 Samuel 2:30. It is not to be taken lightly in the sense of no weight or value given to it, it is not to be treated unimportant in your life. The word for “honor” in Hebrew is “kavod (כָּבַד),” which means to weigh in heavy, to be weighty. Similarly, in Greek the word is “time (τιμή) which means to value at a high price, of great value in the eyes of the beholder.

Because he has set his love on Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My Name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation. Psalm 91:14-16.

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me.” Psalm 50:15.

I invite you to My throne of grace, I invite you to enter into My rest, I invite you to enter into My Light and walk with Me in the Light. Why? “Because you are precious in My sight, you are honored and I love you.” Isaiah 43:4.

And this place, the Holy of Holies, is a place of reverence. And reverence is an attitude of the heart, it is not lip service it is your inner and outer life.

This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me. But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men. Mark 7:6-7.

It is an attitude of thanksgiving, praise, and worship but ABOVE ALL of faith. Faith in My Word but particularly in recognizing what I have done for you and do for you in Christ Jesus your Lord and My Son.

I tell you that it is impossible to please Me without faith. When you take Jesus as your Lord and believe I have forgiven your sins and cleansed you of them in Him even the angels celebrate the honor you have received and the honor you have given, for it is obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your soul. 1 Peter 1:8. Receiving and giving is an honor to Me and you. What you have received as a gift, give as a gift to others.

But as you have received Him so live in Him, drawing all you need out of Him by faith. Honor the gift I have given you, and that is honoring Me, by taking and receiving all He did  for you with faith and sharing this gift of Jesus with those who have not heard or who just have not received.

But there is much more to this. What honors Me above all is faith that is mindful constantly of what I have given you in Christ, specifically what His body and blood mean to you. Because many of you are not remembering this but treating it casually and saying the opposite is pulling you out of My light and putting you open to the realm of darkness and permitting the curse to be active in you. You are giving a place in you to the devil and his unclean spirits and you do not even recognize that.

I am going to now share with you what I am talking about for I revealed it by My Spirit to My apostles and prophets and they reveal it to you. Let us start with the apostle Paul, for the church in Corinth had become very casual about receiving the Body and Blood of My Son in the Covenant Meal. And many believers today have as well. They just see it as a little wafer and a cup of the fruit of the vine and they do not give it any value as changing their lives. They forget the Covenant, if they ever knew it, and forget all the benefits it cost My Son His life in the flesh to give you. Why do I say that? Just as the majority of the Corinthian church at the time of Paul, they are not recognizing what the Body of Christ means to their bodies for healing and health nor what the Blood means with respect to their sins. They were not remembering and stirring up their faith. And My Spirit revealed to Paul that this was the reason so many of them were weak, sick, and dying prematurely. And it is still the same. Faith is the only way to please Me. Why? It is the only way you can receive all that Christ gave His body and shed every drop of His eternal blood to give you. Otherwise the grace you receive from His life in you is in vain.

So thus we begin: “For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.

Paul was not personally at that last Passover supper the night before Jesus died, but it was of such great importance that Jesus, as the Risen Lord, personally taught this to Paul so that he would deliver this to you.

And what happened at that Passover supper that Jesus told His disciples He has so earnestly desire to give them?

When the hour had come, He reclined at the table, and the apostles with Him. And He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I shall never again eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” Luke 22:14-16.

He made Covenant with them, and through them with all who would receive their Word and partake of the Body and Blood in like manner. And Jesus, whom I have made your High Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek, made it with you just as He had with Abraham and his descendants, He brought out the bread and the wine, Genesis 14:18-20, and then sealed it with the blood of the sacrifice the next day, just as We had done with Abraham. Genesis 15:9-21.

And He told them how to take it: in remembrance of Him. To bring to mind all He did for you and is to you so you would not forget even one of all His benefits given to you in that new and everlasting Covenant.

Bless the LORD O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; He pardons ALL your sins and iniquities, He heals ALL your diseases and pains; He redeems your life from the pit, He surrounds you with lovingkindness and compassion; He fills your days with good things, your youth is renewed like the eagle. Psalm 103:1-5.

In the New Covenant Jesus empties Himself by taking all your sins and punishments, all the curse of the law, on Himself and gives you His riches, His Name, His merits, His glory, His righteousness, and all My promises, as many and as magnificent as they be, become “yes” to you in Him. The New Covenant is sealed in His Blood poured out for you. And in that Covenant, I seal you in Him by the Holy Spirit. Jesus then made Covenant with Me as My beloved Son at His baptism in the Jordan and then sealed it as finished when He poured out His Blood onto Me on the altar of the Cross, just as the sacrifices of old had foreshadowed until the substance would be realized in Christ.

And then in Covenant with Him and in Him you enter that everlasting and unbreakable Covenant He has with Me. Double security in double hands. Jesus and I are One and now in Him you are one with Me too.

Now having established the great importance of this Covenant meal, not only once but as often you need to strengthen you and stir up your faith so when the enemy attacks you know who is in you and you know what is yours so that you refuse to give him any of your territory to the enemy. You need to remember and remind yourself of your benefits. You have to feed to fight, that is, to enforce what I have already won for you in Jesus.

So let us continue

Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly. For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep. 1 Corinthians 11:27-30.

This passage is deep but you can understand it. I did not say you are unworthy. Paul wrote this to believers who were in the New Covenant with Me and Jesus’ blood and being born again by My Word had made them worthy. I said in an unworthy manner. By unworthy manner I mean without recognizing Him in the breaking of the bread. The disciples on the Road to Emmaus ate in a worthy manner for they recognized Him in the breaking of the bread. If you receive without faith or without even remembering that you are partaking of the body and blood of My Son and what it does for you and taking and receiving the healing, the forgiveness, the provision and the blessing you are not honoring Me. If you are not confirming our Covenant that Jesus died to give you, you are not honoring Me. In a spiritual sense you are renewing you marital vows as a member of Christ’s body the Church with the One who loved you and gave His life for you.

I then tell you the way to take in a worthy manner. Examine yourself and in so doing then eat. What am I asking you to examine? Not your sins, you should have confessed those to Me and repented with thanksgiving for the blood and applied it to cleanse you of all unrighteousness before you even came to the table. What is the examination then? You have to read My whole Word to understand parts of it. You know I would not tell you to do things unless I explain why you do it and how to do it and the same is the case here. For My Spirit through Paul gives you the answer in the next letter to the Corinthian church on this matter:

Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test? 2 Corinthians 13:5.

Examine to see if you are IN FAITH. In faith about what you are receiving, if you are in faith that this is just what Jesus said, His body, which He is giving to you for your healing and good health in every area of your life—physical, mental, emotional, that is, your spirit, soul, and body complete and entire, and that this is His blood that takes away all your sins and cleanses you of all unrighteousness. And the body and the blood are one in that you are healed by His bloody scourges and are born again by His Word, which is represented by His body, for the Word became flesh and dwelt among you.

And are you in faith that you are in Covenant with Me in Jesus and that ALL My promises are “yes” to you in Him, so that your confirming “amen” that you believe this goes up to establish it with Me forever?

Do you know what His body did and does for you? Are you eating your healing? Do you recognize and remember what the Blood poured out for you did for you? It is awesome how you are saved and set free of your sins and all that encumbers you by the blood. Do you eat in the knowledge that Jesus told you He gave His body and blood for YOU individually? And that is why one person does not eat for all, all eat.

But he also has you examine another aspect of this promise that you need to know and keep before you so that you may live in My light righteously and victoriously: Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?

Do you know that Christ did not leave you orphans, He came back to you and is within you even now by the presence and power of the Spirit?

The mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His sanctified ones, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27.

He is your hope of glory, which is, My goodness, power and presence manifesting in  your life. Do you understand that with Him in you, you do not have to go touch the hem of His garment to get the healing power into you by faith. With Him in you the power to heal resides in you and it is present to heal, both you and the person you release it to. Jesus is the resurrection and the life for a man to eat and never die. And that resurrection power is in you now to raise you up on the Last Day and to quicken you mortal body with new life here and now.

If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh— for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Romans 8:10-13.

This is not of the flesh but of the Spirit that Christ is in you and you are in Him. And that makes you an overcomer of all Satan has planned for your destruction.

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:4-5.

And Jesus, who is in you, will be sure that you are not lost but come to dwell forever in the Kingdom once you have been sealed in Him by Me. And you will see in what Jesus explained it all begins with recognizing His body in the bread broken for you.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen Me, and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:35-40.

And My Spirit by My apostle Peter, whom Jesus had prayed for that his faith would never fail and that when he returned he would strengthen you in your faith, explains what you are not recognizing: For he who lacks these qualities [i.e., faith, moral excellence, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love] is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. 2 Peter 1:9.

Remember your benefits. Take the cup of His blood in remembrance of your purification from sin and you will not return to sin.

And then My Spirit through Peter tells you more about what you should be doing: Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you. 2 Peter 1:10.

But there are more treasures Peter shares with you and I think then you will understand why Jesus told you to do this in remembrance of Him.

Therefore, I will always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you already know them, and have been established in the truth which is present with you. I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder, knowing that the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. And I will also be diligent that at any time after my departure you will be able to call these things to mind. 2 Peter 1:11-14.

In the Covenant meal He instituted the night before He died, He is present to remind you of the benefits He won for you and to stir up your faith—to stir up and fan your cold, discouraged, doubting hearts into flame, like He did for those two disciples on the Road to Emmaus. And how did He do, by showing them what they had in Him by revealing Himself by His Word, the bread of life for a man to eat and never die.

You need a reminder to stir up your faith to take down the strategies of the devil. And here is the reminder Peter left for you by My Spirit, for as Peter himself told you, “But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.” 2 Peter 1:20-21. And here is the passage for you and it is all about honor, which is what living in the Light is all about. Honor Me, I honor you. Mutual exchange. It is hard to honor someone who dishonors you, for they will never accept your honor for them they will trample it underfoot. Like giving pearls to swine, or what is holy to dogs. Selah. And that is why I honor those who honor Me, they appreciate and remember what I have done as valuable and put it to use in their lives to obtain My promises and live the life that is life indeed. I can trust those who honor Me with great and mighty things.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:4-8.

Faith in My Word, faith in what I did for you in Jesus, and then actively taking and receiving all He obtained into your life—and remembering these benefits of Mine whenever trouble strikes so you can strike it down, this honors Me. Without faith you cannot win, with faith in Me ALL things are possible, and not only possible, but CERTAIN. If I have spoken, that should be the end of the devil’s arguments as far as you are concerned.

I love you. Live in My light by faith and never let yourself forget all your benefits that are in Jesus your Lord. Do this in remembrance of Me.

I and the Father are One. John 10:30.
