So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Saints live by faith, which is of the heart, and not just by physical sight. In any situation you only overcome by faith, for your faith is the victory that overcomes the world, the flesh, and the devil.
And what is faith? Faith is the title deed, the guarantee, the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen. Hebrews 11:1.
And how does faith come? Well, in any situation, even to the worldly minded, the confidence for a good outcome comes by knowing the answer that works to fix the problem which has arisen. But the kind of faith that moves mountains and makes situations that are impossible to solve by mere human knowledge comes only by hearing My Word, and by that I mean the specific Word you need in your present situation, i.e. the Word that gives you the answer you need, the assurance you need, the encouragement you need, and the substance that fills that need. Faith brings the delivery of what you need by the Word you have heard.
And I want to add here that no problem or need or skill is too small or too big for Me to show you how to do it by the best and most expedient way, so always seek My Word first and not just worldly answers, though I may point you to them, on how to solve, do, or receive instruction in any area of your life—including, but not limited to, daily tasks, projects at work, how to deal with people in your life, especially those who are difficult, how to raise your children, or run your household or business, even to fixing appliances and vehicles.
When you are attacked with sickness you need to hear the exact Word I have already sent to put in your mouth to heal you. Psalm 107:20. For My Word comes down like seed for the sower and bread for the eater, like manna on the barren ground, and it will not return void but will fulfill the promise it contains.
Need deliverance? You need to hear the Word I sent to deliver you from your destructions. Psalm 107:20.
Need provision? You need to hear the Word I sent to profit you and teach you the way you should go. I instruct you by My Word as revealed to you by My Spirit who guides you to the truth you need at that moment to set you free.
To Abraham, I showed him My Word in visuals as I spoke—the stars, the lamb caught in the thicket, the visual enactment of what I would do with My Son for the burnt offering, the land to which I had him lift up his eyes as his inheritance for his descendants, and the bread and wine of the priest Melchizedek. And, of course, the miracle of a precious son in the elder years of Sarah and Abraham.
To Jacob I gave instructions of how to profit and overcome the schemes of Laban in a dream and I revealed things about Christ in dreams and visions of the night at Bethel as I gave him encouragement and assurance of My presence and of all the amazing works I would accomplish for him as I had promised Abraham.
To heal and deliver you I give you the Word you need in your heart and mouth. Write it down so others benefit too and run with it, just as Moses did with the plans I gave him for the tabernacle, it became the life and project for those whose hearts were open to it so it could plant in them as well and give them the skill to perform it. And it became the life of Bezalel and Oholiab and gave them a lasting memorial in My Word that you are still reading with wonder today. No one has ever been a greater sculptor than Bezalel as he formed the golden lampstand with all its intricate designs and branches as hammered work from solid gold and the same for the cherubim sculpted as one with the mercy seat.
Cherish the Word I give you, My Word will be your life and make you great. Write it on the tablet of your heart, for your mouth will speak what is filling your heart no matter what it may be, so be careful what you hear.
You need to find the Word that is life to you at that moment you need it—for My Word is resurrection and life for you, healing your body and restoring your soul.
For each need you face there is a specific Word and that Word will come in the rejoicing, the praying, and the thanking. In thanksgiving lies the victory.
Thanks be to God who has given us the victory in Christ Jesus over sin and death. 1 Corinthians 15:57.
And the victory lies in your faith that comes by hearing the right Word for the moment as your solution.
How blest is the one who trusts in Me that the Word will come to pass. Watch for it as a watchman watches for the dawn and as certainly as the dawn it will come to give light to your path and a lamp to your feet in that dark place to show you the way to go.
O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy mountain and to Your dwelling places. Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy; and upon the lyre I shall praise You, O God, my God. Psalm 43:3-4.
Every morning the manna My people needed for the day fell from Heaven early on the dewfall. It always showed up right on time for them but they had to go out and gather it or their need went unmet through their own fault and lack of diligence. They could not be sluggish about it or make another gather their portion, each one had to gather his own, and it would be just the right amount for him and his household.
And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:11-12.
The Word you need is not something you have to work up or be anxious about whether it will come. It is knowing it will be there for you to find just when you need to gather it to supply for all you need.
The Israelites knew the manna would fall every morning but when it fell they had to go to gather it before the sun melted it. There was a time to gather it and just the amount they needed for that day. It was fresh just when they needed it, not stale, not an old Word, but a new one, just to fill the need of that day. The Word is the light you need to dispel the darkness of unknowing just when you need it to enlighten you with the light of life.
And you will notice as with the manna, it fell looking like seed for the sower, but they processed it to become bread for the eater by breaking it down, cooking it and eating it throughout the day.
Joshua 1:8.
And now you have much more than Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for you have My written Word ready for you to gather up just when you need it to put in your heart and in your mouth to bring about the promise in that Word.
And where do you find My Word to gather it each day, each moment, each time of need? In confident prayer at My throne of grace in the secret place of the Holy of Holies. I invite you there to receive your manna each day and all you have to do is gather it up and eat it.
My Words are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.
Find them at My throne as the Israelites found the manna around their camp, for you dwell in the secret place of the Most High, and find them early, and gather up your answer, your provision, your blessing, and all you need just for the moment. And know the supply will always be enough and never run out for each morning My mercies are new. And they are for you. All I have and all I do is for you. Why would you fear it would not be there?
Have no anxiety or fear, it is always there. The Israelites learned that the manna was always there. They did not have to worry, they did not have to even consider it would not be there, and they learned they did not have to hoard it or take another’s portion, that each day there was always, without fail, just the amount they needed, even to the double portion for the shabbat.
I love you. I have given you all that you need for life and godliness and I give it all to you in My Word.
My son, give attention to My Words; incline your ear to My sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body. Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put devious speech far from you. Let your eyes look directly ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:20-27.
