This is the promise which He Himself promised us: eternal life. 1 John 2:25.

Today the LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

The job is too big for you. But My eyes are on you to will and to do. I will see you through.

The things that you carry are burdensome, a load for the weary beast. They stooped over, they have bowed down together; they could not rescue the burden, but have themselves gone into captivity. “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel,

You who have been borne by Me from birth and have been carried from the womb; even to your old age I will be the same, and even to your graying years I will bear you! I have done it, and I will carry you; and I will bear you and I will deliver you Isaiah 46:1-4.

Adam, by rejecting My Word and making the lying words of the devil his life, cut himself off from the source of his power and life. He chose to sever our fellowship and plunged you all into the outer darkness. He corrupted the seed and subjected the earth to the curse. He had locked you all into captivity without hope, and put a heavy burden of sin upon you all, which you were not made to bear. The heavy weight of sin is overwhelming. It is torment. It crushed My Son when He lifted it off  you and bore all your sins in His own body.

But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being (shalom) fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him . . . But the LORD was pleased to crush Him, putting Him to grief; if He would render Himself as a guilt offering . . . By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, as He will bear their iniquities. Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, and He will divide the booty with the strong; because He poured out Himself to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet He Himself bore the sin of many, and interceded for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:5-12.

Your destiny had become that of your new master, shepherd and father, and that is the pit of the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels. Matthew 25:41.

As sheep they are appointed for hell; death shall be their shepherd; and the upright shall rule over them in the morning, and their form shall be for hell to consume so that they have no habitation. Psalm 49:14.

But that was not where I wanted or planned for anyone to go. I had prepared the Kingdom for you from the foundation of the world as your inheritance. Matthew 25:34. Beautiful indeed is your inheritance! Psalm 16:6.

But if I had left you as justice required with the penalty of sin, which is lawlessness, you would have been locked there with no way out and the devil holding the keys that Adam had given him. And I had given them to you so what you did was a completed gift. It was over as far as divine justice according to the letter of the law.

No man can by any means redeem his brother or give to God a ransom for him—for the redemption of his soul is costly, and he should cease trying forever—that he should live on eternally, that he should not undergo decay in the pit. Psalm 49:7-9.

You were in a very constricted place, having no hope and without Me in this world. Please understand what I have done for you in Jesus.

You turn man back into dust and say, “Return, O children of men.” For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it passes by, or as a watch in the night. You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep; in the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew. In the morning it flourishes and sprouts anew; toward evening it fades and withers away. Psalm 90:3-6.

But how could I get you there when Adam had lost the way to the tree of eternal life?

You may not realize the enormity of evil of the new relationship in which Adam had put his descendants with Me. He had taken you to a place of burdensome toil, danger, sickness, deformity, poverty, fleeting pleasures, and a life of slavery to sin and death, with no hope of a better future than what this life offered. He had separated you from Me with your dominion authority handed over to a deceitful spirit who had degraded his own perfection by moving from being close to Me to the unrighteousness and violence of the outer darkness of the continuum. Man’s eyes had become limited to the flesh and he no longer knew Me as Adam  had. I had given Myself to Adam completely and he betrayed Me, now I waited for your eyes to look for Me and then you would find Me right there with you.

How long, O LORD? Will You hide Yourself forever? Will Your wrath burn like fire? Remember what my span of life is; for what vanity You have created all the sons of men! What man can live and not see death? Can he deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah. Psalm 89:46-52.

The answer is simple: No you cannot. For justice was due for sin. You murdered the eternal life I gave you by sin, for the wages of sin is death. Justice demanded the payment of an eternal life for the eternal life you lost. But no one born of Adam’s corrupted seed could pay it.

What you could not do I did for you in Jesus, the Son of God and the Son of Man, who came as one like you in all things but sin. He also was born of a woman but of a virgin with no seed of Adam, only the imperishable seed of My Word as My Spirit of truth hovered over her as over the waters at creation and a new creation was formed.

Lord (Adonai, Jesus), You have been our dwelling place (seter in Hebrew, meaning secret place,  hiding place, a place of secure refuge) in all generations. Before the mountains were born or You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. Psalm 90:1-2.

Jesus told you that Moses wrote about Him. Moses wrote Psalm 90 as a prayer after the Israelites had rejected My Word and My Covenant with Abraham and refused to enter the land I had promised them as their inheritance. This is the same as Adam did. By receiving My Word, My Spirit on them, and the unblemished lamb as the sacrifice to cover their sins and shield them from the evil one, I had made covenant with them to bring them up to My level of being rather than that of the devil.  But like Adam they rejected My Word and spoke stout against it, repeating the deceitful lies of fear that the devil offered them. and spoke that they preferred to die in the wilderness, so much did they fear entering the land I had told them I would fight to give them. Not living My plan, which would have given them a long life of fruitfulness and peace, that is, days as of Heaven on the earth, in the land I was giving them, they chose to rebel and wander in the wilderness with no vision or purpose, and there they died as they had spoken. By not living the life of dominion prepared for them in advance they lost it all. And even then they still blamed Me, as Adam did, for their rejection of My Word and My plan.

You will notice that Moses begins Psalm 90 by addressing Adonai, which is God and Man, that is, Jesus. He knew the solution was to be in Christ to the futile life they had fallen back into in the wilderness. There would be a life line out of eternal death and darkness, out of slavery and captivity, out of being trapped in the captivity of the pit in hopeless despair, and it all began, even back with Adam and his sons, by the blood of the Lamb who was the solution from the foundation of the world. The red cord in your window view of the world. And the name of the cord that Rahab hung in her window? Tikvah, which is translated “hope,” though literally it means a “cord,” as in string and thread.

I have drawn you with human cords, with bands of love, to raise you like beloved infants to My cheeks to seat you with Me on high.

Now there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I have sworn never to be angry with  you again and have told you that in Him you are shielded from the justice, that is, the wrath to come on those who have destroyed the life I have them and the earth I made.

Who understands the power of Your anger and Your fury, according to the fear that is due You? So teach us to number our days, that we may present to You a heart of wisdom. Do return, O LORD (Yahweh); how long will it be? And repent for Your servants.  O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.  Make us glad according to the days You have afflicted us, and the years we have seen evil. Let Your work appear to Your servants and Your majesty to their children.  Let the favor of the Lord (Adonai, Jesus) our God be upon us; and confirm for us the work of our hands; yes, confirm the work of our hands. Psalm 90:13-17.

So what is the answer to man’s lost and hopeless state? How can you be put right with Me again so as to enter My Kingdom? The solution to everything is all summed up in one name: JESUS. Yeshuah. Salvation. He took your sins, ills and pains, bore My wrath, and released you from your sins by His blood and set you free to be reconciled with Me. He opened the shut gates of Heaven to you and gave you to eat of the tree of eternal life. There is no other name given among men by which you MUST be saved

Jesus knows the power of My wrath. It fell on Him in your place, like a divine lightning rod, so that when He is lifted up He draws all to Himself and sets you free, like the serpent on the bronze cross on which My wrath for sin fell and those who gazed on it in faith had all the poison of the snake pulled out of them onto that bronze serpent raised on the pole above them. Jesus is the burnt offering, consumed by divine justice for sin to nothing but ash, to the dust of death I brought Him down, so that He tasted that evil enemy of death for you all.

Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” And he said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” Abraham said, “God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” So the two of them walked on together. Genesis 22:7-8.

I Myself provided the Lamb, the eternal lamb, who is still in the center of My throne with Me. The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world on which everything that was made was made and who holds and sustains it all. The chief cornerstone, the rock, the bedrock, on which I build My church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. If you are in Christ Jesus you have the keys.

And you that are in Jesus will never taste death. Absent from the body present with Me. And Jesus suffered My wrath for sin so that you who enter into a relationship with Him are like being in Noah’s ark in the flood that destroyed the rest of mankind in judgment for evil.

“For this is like the days of Noah to Me, when I swore that the waters of Noah would not flood the earth again; so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you nor will I rebuke you. For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of shalom peace will not be shaken,” says the LORD who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:9-10.

Even when you sinned and lost My friendship, I taught you how to seek and find Me. How? Same way you do now. By My Word, which is My covenant bond. I offer you eternal life with Me forever and the invitation is there for you in My Son, by whom you have redemption by His blood, the forgiveness of your sins.

I had a divine plan of both justice and mercy. The righteous One by My side who was willing to come and get back the keys as one like you, and who had an eternal life to give for the one you lost. He had dominion, on His shoulder dominion rested from the day of His birth, for in Him there was no sin. The devil tried to steal that dominion out of Jesus as he had from Adam and his seed, but he could not, Jesus was too pure and too focused for him to even tempt him. And Adam had been that way in the beginning as well but unrighteousness entered him which births violence and sin. Just as it did in Satan and his followers.

“You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created until unrighteousness was found in you. By the abundance of your trade you were internally filled with violence, and you sinned; therefore I have cast you as profane from the mountain of God.” Ezekiel 28:15-16.

Jesus was the only one that has ever perfectly kept every commandment and perfectly accomplished My Will. To do My Will was His delight and My law was within His heart.

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. Revelation 1:17-18.

Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. Hebrews 2:14-15.

My plans are still there for you whenever you return to Me. And what are My plans? I know the plans I have for you! Plans for your shalom and not evil, to give you a future and a HOPE. Jeremiah 29:11. It has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom.

And now for the crowning Word of all that came as revelation to My beloved John, the first one to not only say I loved you with an everlasting love but that I AM LOVE.

The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son.  And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. 1 John 5:10-15.

This passage is so important to you and your walking in the spirit that it will be the subject of our next Life Lesson.

I love you. You are not without Me, you are with Me always and all I have is yours. And I have done that for you in Christ. I do not forgive and love you because of Jesus, I gave you Jesus because I forgive and love you but I had to do it justly and take away all that divided us. There was no other way for your spirits to come alive again to Me and dead to sin. In Jesus I reverse the curse. And to do that He had to become a curse for you and He did. You will never fully understand the greatness, the vastness and the beauty of My love for you. But the good news it is real and will never die. For Me, it is always first love. I make all things new.
