Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD, and He will delight in the fear of the LORD. Isaiah 11:1-3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Walking in the Spirit is walking in My authority, which I delegate to those who love and follow Me as a shared authority, which means though it comes from Me it also becomes yours to use so that all things work together for good. And how do I share My authority with you? Not by human power or might, but by My Spirit in and on you.
This should reveal to you then the purpose of all the gifts, fruit, and seven counselors that My Spirit brings to you as your Helper at your side so that you can build the edifice of your life as well as building the body of Christ together with the members who are also indwelt by My Spirit.
But many people, even believers who have a sincere love for Me, perish because of lack of knowledge of the authority that is theirs over the deceitful attacks of the evil one by never taking up their authority because they have not utilized the gift of the Holy Spirit and My power to those who believe.
The surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places. Ephesians 1:19-20.
Let us consider again the prophecy I gave Zechariah for I did not go through to the finishing line in our last Life Lesson.
Now listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your friends who are sitting in front of you—indeed they are men who are a symbol, for behold, I am going to bring in My servant the Branch. For behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; on one stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave an inscription on it,’ declares the LORD of hosts, ‘and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. Zechariah 3:8-9.
Did you notice that besides the seven eyes there is an inscription on that cornerstone? And it is a note from Me, “and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.” And I did, the day Jesus hung upon the cross and bled and died for you, He made peace through the blood of the cross reconciling all the lost to Me through Him so that through Jesus you could receive My wondrous gift of Myself, of My very life, the Holy Spirit—the gift Jesus came to give you. He qualified you for this gift that made you again into My images and according to My likeness. And it is My Spirit in you that is resurrection power.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11.
Today we continue considering the seven spirits, the seven eyes of the Lamb and of the cornerstone that open to you all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, for in Jesus are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
All the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3.
And here are the seven spirits that come under the Holy Spirit:

The spirit of wisdom and understanding. The spirit of counsel and strength. The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. And finally, delight in the fear of the LORD, i.e., devotion and joy in reverence and awe of all I am to you and all I have done and am doing for you. You will notice I put them in pairs, which is significant. I send them out to do a work, a marvelous work in you just as I sent My disciples out, two by two.
And He summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs, two by two, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits. Mark 6:7.
Let us take a closer look at the seven counselors your Wonderful Counselor brings to give you a prosperous and successful life that blesses you and the whole world. We will start with the Book of Proverbs, penned under the inspiration of the Spirit of Wisdom that Solomon had asked for in faith and I generously gave it to him.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5.
Wisdom is extolled and personified in Proverbs as a lovely woman and a teacher and companion who delights to be among the children of men. But you will find wisdom comes with her companions.
My son, if you will receive My Words and treasure My commandments within you, make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; for if you cry for discernment (counsel), lift your voice for understanding; if you seek her as silver and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will discern the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield (fortitude, strength) to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice, and He preserves the way of His godly ones. Then you will discern righteousness and justice and equity and every good course. For wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; discretion will guard you (counsel and fortitude), understanding will watch over you, To deliver you from the way of evil, Proverbs 3:1-12.
But wisdom is the principal thing.
The primary (first, principal) thing is wisdom: acquire wisdom; and with all your acquiring, get understanding. Prize her, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her. She will place on your head a garland of grace; she will present you with a crown of beauty.” Proverbs 4:7-9.
And in our next life lesson we will talk more about wisdom and understanding, because those two precious spirits, employed by Joseph, raised him from the prison to the palace, from an imprisoned slave to the highest position in the government of Egypt next to Pharaoh and turned him into a hero that saved the entire middle east in a time of famine.
But before we go on, I would like to talk with you about building so you are not wasting precious time in idle words. Idle words do not build up but tear down. But every day you are building the edifice of your life and it is a business enterprise and your thoughts are your employees. And how well you supervise them will make or break the profitability of your inner business for what it produces will manifest.
The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish tears it down with her own hands. Proverbs 14:1.
You have a building project and every day, every moment you are building. Are you aware of this? Do you judge accordingly? Do you purposely build with care, skill and design or are you just haphazardly putting a disjointed structure together? Be careful how you build, for it determines your reward. It also determines the quality of life that you will live now in this world and also for eternity.
You are building upon the foundation of Jesus as the cornerstone of your life.
With every thought you employ and every word you speak, you are building the edifice of your life and you are running your inner business to produce fruit, to be unfruitful, or to destroy you. You will be judged by your thoughts and words.
You are building your inner structure on the foundation of Christ by your thoughts and words. That is how you build. Those are the building materials of your life. It is by your words you will be acquitted and by your words you will condemned, and you will be judged for every idle word you speak. I am very clear about that.
Idle words build with wood, hay and stubble, the materials of the wilderness of the world. But if you are building with gold, silver and precious stones, those are Wisdom and Understanding and Fear of the LORD and Joy and Peace and Love. So you employ those thoughts and they build. Just as Moses, when he built the mischan (My dwelling place in the desert with them on their way to the Promised Land), he did not build it with his own hands, I sent him skilled workers that he ordered with his words and spoke the plans to them, but I had given him the plans.
And Solomon the same, he did not build the temple with his own hands but sought skilled workers from Me to do the job according to the plan.
Your outer activity comes from your inner man, and it is outside that I prosper the work of your hands but it starts on the inside and you work it out. Inside the work is thoughts and words. I framed the world with My Words, I thought, I spoke and the Holy Spirit knows My deepest thoughts—deep calls unto deep—and as He hovered over the waters He brought the Words into physical realities from spiritual realities.
The Holy Spirit will go to work in your life if you will think My thoughts which He has expressed to you in My written Word, the Bible, and He will bring all His skilled workers with Him- Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Fear of the LORD, Devotion (godliness) and all His fruit to build your house. But you employ by thinking with them instead of against them. By thinking the thoughts of Wisdom and Joy and Peace rather than unbelief, bitterness and anxiety, then they build golden apples in silver settings and adorn your foundation stone with every precious gem. They will build, you just have to keep employing them and lining up all your thoughts and words with them.
Be diligent and vigilant, you know not the day or the hour. Blessed is the one I find busy about this when I come. And your edifice will sparkle with brilliance in the light of My glory on the Day of Judgment, and it will shine even now as people behold your radiant countenance, energy, vibrant life, lovingkindness and willingness to serve. And this all comes from your thoughts within.
It all begins with a thought. With a Word. Make sure you are employing the correct ones by walking in the Spirit in your spirit and your words will build. Because whether you are conscious of it or not, you are building every moment.
I speak with thoughts. I speak now in your heart. I talked to Moses face to face for he was not yet born again and My Spirit was on him, but for you who believe, My Spirit dwells within you and I speak Spirit to spirit in your heart. And I hear your thoughts as loudly as your words. Let My thoughts become your own way of thinking and you will find your life being filled with glory, as My glory filled the temple Solomon had built and everyone there could see it and was enveloped in it. Wherever you go there will be an aura of the Most High if you have employed My thoughts as your own by the work of the Holy Spirit in you. When you keep My Words, I take up My dwelling with you.
And remember, no thought of your heart goes unnoticed by Me and I reward what no man sees, for I see in secret. So do not think you are working only for your boss at work or your family at home, it is really Me you are working for, I am your audience of One in the world to build up My Kingdom and give Me a dwelling place among you in the Spirit. You are forming the Kingdom even now, draw others with you into the inner world of building an edifice together where I can dwell and confer My blessings on all. Do not only work when others are watching, then you already have your reward. Work in the secret place of your heart for Me, be about My business, make yourself a house of prayer for all peoples, and think My thoughts of beauty, forgiveness, compassion and love, and when you come on that Day before Me I can say “Well done, good and faithful servant, you have been faithful in small matters now I put you in charge of great things, come share your Father’s joy!” And what a wonderful day it will be!
I love you. I have given you everything, fully equipped you, to build a magnificent edifice of your life and I have given you seven glorious experts to work for you—wisdom, understanding, counsel, strength, knowledge, fear of the LORD, and delight in devotion to Me.
By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Proverbs 24:3-4.
