Listen to counsel and accept discipline, that you may be wise the rest of your days. Proverbs 19:20.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
When you walk in the Spirit I can do a marvelous work in you. Things that are beyond all you can ask or imagine. Call on Me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things you do not know and cannot know in the flesh, but only in the Spirit.
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:11-16.
And when you walk in the Spirit, He brings seven spirits whom I send out into all the earth to do a work in whomever will receive Him. My eyes roam to and fro across the earth to show Myself strong for those whose hearts are turned towards Me.
Repentance makes your heart into the good soil in which the imperishable seed of My Word can plant and grow. That is the difference between hearts—the degree and firmness of repentance in that soul.
The word in the language of Greek, which was the language in which the New Testament was written, for repent is “metanoeó (μετανοέω),” which means to change one’s mind or purpose.” It is from the word “metá,” which means “changed after being with” and “noiéō,” which means “think.” Who you spend your time with will change the way you think. The more time you spend with My Spirit in My Word, the more you will change to think like Me.
And that is the difference between how people respond to trials and temptations in life. It is all about whether they have become like minded with Me and changed from their ways to My ways by repentance to transformation.
And that is ultimately the work of My Spirit working in your spirit. And My Spirit brings the seven helpers. And the Spirit of counsel will direct you in changing your thoughts to My thoughts and your ways to My ways, which are higher than yours and bring you to higher realms of peace and light. Counsel to change from the works of the flesh to the works of the Spirit and strength to hold you in My Ways.
Wisdom has built her house, she has hewn out her seven pillars; she has prepared her food, she has mixed her wine; she has also set her table; she has sent out her maidens, she calls from the tops of the heights of the city: “Whoever is naive, let him turn in here!” To him who lacks understanding she says, “Come, eat of my food and drink of the wine I have mixed. Forsake your folly and live, and proceed in the way of understanding.” Proverbs 9:1-6.
When John saw the vision he shares in the Book of Revelation he tells you that he was in the Spirit to see and hear what was to come and share that with you.
I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet . . . After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne. Revelation 1:10; Revelation 4:1-2.
And now the Spirit of counsel and strength will give you wise counsel of how to live a victorious and fruitful life.
Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 3:19-21.
First, be zealous and repent.
Jesus came preaching and teaching the good news of the Kingdom and His cry to having the Kingdom was, “Repent and believe in the good news.” You repent by believing in the good news of Jesus, the good news of your Salvation. That your sins are gone, borne by Him as He accepted your punishment and My wrath fell upon Him to make you whole.
But it also has to do with accepting correction and discipline but if your heart is set right you will discipline yourself by renewing your mind to My Word and being transformed from a sinner to a saint to match your born again spirit with your soul. There is no law against the fruit of the spirit.
For whom the LORD loves He reproves, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:12.
Jesus told you if you did not repent you would perish. I so loved the world that I gave you My Son so that all who BELIEVE in Him will NOT PERISH but have eternal life. John 3:16.
But how do I clean and correct you in your thoughts and ways? By My Word, which is wisdom, with which comes counsel.
How blessed is the man who finds wisdom and the man who gains understanding. For her profit is better than the profit of silver and her gain better than fine gold. She is more precious than jewels; and nothing you desire compares with her. Long life is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who hold her fast. The Lord by wisdom founded the earth, by understanding He established the heavens. Proverbs 3:14-19.
Once you have repented and are renewing your mind, the second step is to let Me in, for I am knocking at your door to dine with you and you with Me, to spend our days together in wondrous ways. This is fellowship and ultimately Obvi. This is seeknig My face. This is living in the relationship of eternal life. This is oneness of heart and purpose. It is living for the audience of One, and that is the only One who will empower you through the partnership of fellowship to rule and reign with Him forever.
And the next step develops out of fellowship, just as the second step comes after repentance, so the third step is even closer fellowship and partnership, it is the step into the class of overcomers, who shall see God, even now.
After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne. And He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance. Revelation 4:1-3.
Jesus overcame (had the victory) that seated Him in Heaven with Me on My throne.
He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 3:21.
Jesus overcame and sat down with Me. How did He overcome? By His blood and by His Words. How do you overcome? By His blood and by His words in your mouth.
“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. revelation 12:10-11.
After Jesus had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of My majesty on High. Hebrews 1:3.
Repentance is the first step to the purification of sins of your sins in Jesus. And then seated above at My right hand as an overcomer until I put all your enemies under your feet as a footstool. Hebrews 1:13.
How? You tread on the devil and his demons by overcoming his lies with the Word of truth. My Words in your mouth declared in faith under the cover of the blood.
Each day you repent you are begotten anew. This day I have begotten you like the daystar before the dew.
The sprinkled blood and the water of the Word are strength and counsel causing you to be an overcomer, reigning with Me forever.
They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever. Revelation 22:5.
My Name on your foreheads is signifying your thoughts are like unto Mine—pure and holy, each thought that come in your mind you take captive to the obedience of Christ and I illumine you with My Word. My Word is a light to your path and a lamp to your feet. The revelation of My Word sheds light, giving you wisdom and understanding, counsel and strength.
My Words are your counselors. And I also give you gifts of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to counsel and guide you in right paths of renewal and restoration.
I love you. Repent from our negative mind of the flesh that leads to sin and death, to the positive, peaceful mind of the Spirit which gives purification and eternal life.
