But the greatest one among you is the one who serves the rest. Matthew 23:11.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Jesus came to serve, not to be served. And He is the same yesterday, today and forever. And He told you that the greatest one among you is the one who serves the rest.

To serve is an opportunity for greatness.

Who then is the faithful and sensible servant whom his Lord put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his Lord finds so doing when he comes. Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. Matthew 24:45-47.

Most people do not see service to another as a blessing. But I tell you when someone puts you in service for one mile go two miles. My servant Paul advised you to do all you do unto Me, that is, as if you were serving Me. You should look past your human master to your divine master. You should always be looking to Me for direction and I will bless you to be a blessing. And how are you a blessing? By serving others.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, until He is gracious to us. Psalm 123:2.

Jesus lived a perfect life and it was a life of service. He primarily came to do My Will, that is, to serve Me, but My Will was for Him to serve you.

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. 1 John 4:20.

The biggest opportunity you have is to do My Will for your life. Your nourishment is there and also that for others. Walking in My plan you are the greatest blessing to all, yourself and others. I call you to partner with Me in love and faithfulness.

Being a servant is not a lowly occupation to be despised, Jesus lived it with joy and honor. He was their teacher and Lord but Jesus washed the feet of His disciples.

Joseph, the son of Jacob, was sold into slavery, but he served unto Me and worked diligently and honorably for those who were his masters. He made his slavery to others a noble profession that turned into him being the top ranking government official next to Pharoah in the empire of Egypt.

And yet even as a great and revered leader he served the entire nation and the neighboring nations to sustain them in famine and he enriched Pharaoh beyond what he had ever thought possible. I promoted My good and faithful servant to a higher position of service, but all his life he served.

And Pharaoh in turn enriched Joseph and his entire family. Pharaoh made Joseph lord of all but Joseph remained the servant of all. Even of his brothers who had sold him into slavery. He forgave and cared for them and their families for the rest of their lives.

Joseph was the prince among his brothers but he saw himself as the servant. He looked after others’ interests ahead of his own from the time he was sold in Egypt until his death upon the earth but he became the greatest of all in My eyes and the eyes of men.

Humility comes before riches and honor and it is humility that keeps riches and honor.

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:3-11.

Servants are ready to go wherever the master directs them. Whenever I called upon Abraham his response was immediate. “Here I am.” And no matter what it was, he was ready to do what I showed him, even going to offer his son as a burnt offering. Why? He trusted me to do all I had promised him through Isaac and knew that it would all work out according to My promise. And it did.

Jesus told you that in seeing Him, you see Me. He is the radiance of My glory and the exact representation of My nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. And He came to serve and gave His life as the servant of all. He lived for you and so do I. He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil. And so do I. He sought you out and healed you, sought you out to bless you, sought you out to provide for you, sought you out to give you joy. And so do I. My delight is to be with you and have you with Me.

Never despise positions of service for the one faithful in small matters can be entrusted with greater ones.

Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. The one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying, ‘Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have gained five more talents.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’ Matthew 25:19-21.

Take care of others as I care for you.

Blessed be the LORD, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. Selah. Psalm 68:19.

Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2.

I am present as your helper, and I send you the Holy Spirit to be your helper, and I sent Jesus to be your helper and He is with you always to the end of the age. And then you shall be forever with Me. But I shall never cease to serve you. Jesus, whom I have made your great High Priest ever lives to make intersession for you and save you to the uttermost. I also raised Him up as your great good Shepherd.

You who have been borne by Me from birth and have been carried from the womb; even to your old age I will be the same, and even to your graying years I will bear you! I have done it, and I will carry you; and I will bear you and I will deliver you. Isaiah 49:3-4.

Jesus lived to serve you and still does, what can you do for Him who loved you and released you from your sins by His blood and made you a kingdom, priests unto Me? You can be a royal priesthood unto Me. What did the priests do under the Old Covenant? They took care of the sacred things of worship in the tabernacle and the sacrificial offerings unto Me, they were responsible for singing praises with musical instruments before Me, they interceded for the people and the nation, and they taught the people My Word and served as judges to resolve disputes among My people.

You too can do these things in the Spirit. You can offer Me the blood of Jesus and plead it as the law on which you base your case for saving souls and stopping the destroyer from entrance into people’s lives and the life of an entire nation as it did at the first Passover but that was only the blood of a lamb and not the blood of the Lamb. You have much more now. You can teach others My Word, you can be a peacemaker and spread the good news of the forgiveness of sins in Jesus, you can touch and bring to others that which is holy. You can enthrone Me on your praises and play and sing before Me, making melody constantly in your heart.

But just for a moment I want to tell you of what I have done and do for you. I created you in My image and according to My likeness by My Word and with My own hands. I planned you from everlasting to everlasting. I promised you eternal life and I have kept that promise and all My promises of forgiveness, healing, deliverance, blessing, goodness, renewal and restoration in Jesus. I have looked ahead and already provided for all your needs in Christ Jesus. I so loved you I sent My Son to offer His eternal life in the flesh to pay the debt you owed to Me for the eternal life you lost in Adam. I have blessed you with every spiritual blessing in Heaven. I sustain your every breath and watch over you constantly. I have given command to My angels to guard you in all your ways. I have shown you My Yeshuah and saved you. I have loved you with an everlasting love and I daily load you with benefits. I am your healer, your provider, your righteousness, your redeemer, your strength, your fortress, your refuge, your sanctification, and your redemption. You are safe with Me. I am always for you, never against you. I sustain your existence, I provide the rain in its season, I make the crops to grow. I am your source and will always be. I want you with Me forever. I am here to take care of you.

And I want you to take My loving care and lavish it on others as I lavish it on you.

Your job is to serve others, not lord it over them. People do not need you to impress them, they need you to love them. And it is more blessed to give than to receive. But if you give you will receive and more besides.

Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”

I love you. I am with you always, serving you is My delight. Do you feel the same about Me? Where I am there will My servant be! I keep you who serve on the front lines.
