Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Opportunities are open doors I set before you. Doors to miracles, doors to prosperity, doors to healing, doors to deliverance, and doors to new adventures for I am always doing something new. Do you not perceive it? But to come to all those open doors you must go enter through the One Door that opens them all.
Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:7-10.
And who is Jesus?
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness could not overcome it . . . And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:1-14.
He is My Word living and actively working among you. I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from all your pits and destructions and that is just what My Word made flesh did and now does for you forever as your great High Priest.
Once you enter the door of Jesus, the door of being born again by My incorruptible eternal Word, all the doors of all My benefits open to you. You just have to go into the rooms and take them. And how do you take them? By faith. And how does faith take?
But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak. 2 Corinthians 4:13.
By calling things in from the spiritual realm to manifest in the earthly realm.
God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist. Romans 4:17.
In our prior Life Lesson we were talking about opportunities to prosper. Opportunities to prosper begin in meditation on My Word. Many people are seeking a miracle, generally for healing, finances, deliverance and/or restoration and renewal, but few are willing to do what I tell you to do to obtain them, and not only your miracle, but to walk in an abundant life filled with good things. Most people just beg or demand but they do not make My Word their abiding place, far from it.
My servant David knew that if he wanted all My benefits manifesting in his life, he had to not forget them, but keep them before his eyes, reciting them and meditating upon them, by not only remembering them in his heart, but speaking them with his mouth. And one of the best ways to call them in is by praising and thanking Me for them as if you had them already. Look at Psalm 103 and Psalm 23 and you will get the idea. It does require some discipline and diligence to walk in the realm of faith, but that is the only realm in which you will obtain My promises. Without faith it is impossible to please Me. David believed and received before he saw the benefits he was praising Me for, but they all came to him and filled his cup to overflowing.
Pay attention to My Word. David wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, now only for himself but for you also:
He begins: “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits.” You notice, he is reminding himself, admonishing his own soul, that is, his mind, will and emotions, to praise Me and bless Me (rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give constant thanks) and not to lose sight of any of My benefits. And that is meditation (hagah) on My Word day and night. He wants to take them ALL. And you too should want to receive ALL Christ died to give you, which is EVERYTHING and much more on top of that.
And then he continues to talk to his soul as if a third party—to remind himself of what actually is already his, what already is in his heavenly account that he can draw on at any time, “He pardons all your iniquities, He heals all your diseases; He redeems your life from the pit, He crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; He satisfies you with good things (adorns your life with them), so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.” No begging, no questions, no room for doubt—he is telling himself what is his. And he took all the benefits and enjoyed them.
When David first sang, “The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want,” he needed everything and was running from Saul, but he went on to declare that his cup overflowed and only goodness and kindness pursued him. And that is what came to pass.
Do you see? Faith receives before it sees, but it sees by faith before it manifests. And remember that one of the meanings of the word “hagah” was to imagine. But when it is grounded in My Word it is not just an imaginary day dream, but like the farmer who plants seeds and awaits the harvest. He sees it before it comes up out of the ground. He has even prepared his barns to receive the harvest.
Have you prepared to receive what you are asking for? If you are seeking a new home, have you neatened up and organized your things so you are ready to go? Have you enlarged your tents to receive the blessing I will pour out? Peter only took one small net for the abundant out pouring of fish My Son called in and consequently he nearly lost the catch.
David had no doubts he would see the good things in the land of the living if he was stouthearted and waited for My Word to manifest. And he was right. But it was his faith that put him in a different category than anyone else, just as it did with Joshua and Caleb, and that made him wiser than his teachers. He had a heart for My Word.
And I give you the formula by which you receive all things from Me, no matter which one you are seeking of My many magnificent promises that make you partakers of My divine nature by grace so that you can walk in prosperity, health and My authority, and it has not changed nor will it. I gave it to Abraham, I gave it to Moses and he gave it to all the people, I gave it to Joshua, I gave it to David, I gave it to Solomon, and I gave it to Paul. Mary walked in it and so did so many others who did great works of excellence for My Kingdom, the mighty works that come from faith in My Word, in My Name.
Here is how the wisest man on earth gave the counsel as from Me about My Words to you. But remember in Jesus, you have a greater than Solomon here, for He not only spoke, taught and preached My Word, He is My Word.
And now I will show you the treasures of Proverbs chapter 4.
“My son, give attention to My Words; incline your ear to my sayings.” Proverbs 4:20. So here we begin the formula: GIVE ATTENTION TO MY WORDS. Faith is a matter of where you are putting your attention. Make My Words your focus and your final authority in any given situation. Do not set your mind on what the doctor told you was impossible, or anyone else, whether it be spiritual, physical, emotional or mechanical. Nothing is too hard for Me, nothing is impossible for Me, and it you cast it on Me there is nothing I cannot take care of for you. And I take care of it by My Word.
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3.
Put your attention on Me to help you, which is putting attention on My Word, for I am My Word. “Incline your ear to my sayings,” faith comes by hearing and hearing My spoken Word (rhema) concerning Jesus. Romans 8:17. And hearing yourself speak them, just as I told Joshua not to let My Words depart from HIS mouth, but to mutter, speak, ponder, declare, imagine, and study them constantly.
Your help comes from Me. I have put My Words in your mouth. Use them.
And you must be willing to obey My Word to have the result you want to manifest. I tell you to tithe to prosper, so if you are not tithing, your speaking and declaring prosperity is not being made with authority. I tell you I am your healer if you remain in and obey My Words, if you have unforgiveness in you and have not determined to give that up, you are blocking your healing and hindering all your other prayers. Just read Mark 11:22-26. But never question that My Will is to heal you, because I have told you over 100 times in My Word that it is. That is a closed matter.
“Do not let them (My Words) depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart.” Proverbs 4:21. Have a Bible you can read. Faith comes by hearing My Word, but you must also read it to remember and digest it. I can show you things as you read with attention that you do not always pick up when hearing because your mind may wander and miss a small piece that you needed to see to make the whole mosaic complete. And don’t just read them quickly and forget what you read, keep it going by pondering it in your heart until you know it is for you, until you hit the treasure vein and found the Word that is life to you at that moment in time and eternity. Keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and never quit the race. I have made you an overcomer if you just keep your eyes on Jesus. If Peter had not taken his eyes off Jesus as he walked to Him on the water by faith in the command Jesus had spoken to him he would not have sunk. If you get our eyes off Jesus, that is, off My Word, you will give in to fear, as Peter did. And fear will sink your little ship. But faith kept the huge ark of Noah afloat.
“For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body (flesh).” Proverbs 4:22. This is a very important truth for you to know. My Words are like medicine to your physical body. This should not surprise you for your body was made and formed by My Word. My Words are spirit and life. They are alive, remember always that “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1. You cannot separate Me from My Word. I am the LORD who heals you and I do it by sending My Word to heal you and deliver you from all destruction.
You must find and guard My Words, they are your counselors, your healers, and your teachers. My Words talk to you when you have stored them in your heart.
Bind them continually on your heart; tie them around your neck. When you walk about, they will guide you; when you sleep, they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk to you. For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is light. Proverbs 6:21-23.
David loved My Word declaring it better than heaps of finest gold and sweeter than honey dripping from the comb. He found there was great reward in keeping it, not just for eternity but here and now in your everyday life. He stored My Word in his heart as treasure and even in the night his heart counseled him.
“Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.” Proverbs 4:23. Store My Word in your heart that you may not sin against Me. Shut out all teachings and doctrines and theories that are contrary to My Word. If you listen to ungodly teachings, shows, and books, you will take on the mindset and speech of the ungodly. Do not sit in the seat of scoffers. Keep your eyes on My Word, that is, on Jesus, the author and developer of your faith. Stay away from wicked and foolish companions, guard your heart, for your mouth speaks from your heart’s abundance.
“Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put devious speech far from you.” Proverbs 4:24. Do not speak lies, gossip, slander, malicious things, idle words, obscenities, curses, if you do, you will be calling these things into your life and the lives of those who hear you. Do not speak your circumstances if they are not what you want, speak out My Word in faith so that you can bring that in and change your circumstances. If I said you are healed, then you are. Do not contradict Me.
There may be an illness, a spirit of infirmity, afflicting and oppressing you, but that can change by faith in My Word of healing. That is what Joshua and Caleb when they spoke My promise of victory rather than the word of defeat that everyone else was speaking. And I said they had done My Will wholeheartedly, though they had done nothing at that point but agree with Me. How can two journey together unless they agree?
“Let your eyes look directly ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from evil.” Proverbs 4:25-27. And here you see the narrow gate and rough road of self-denial that My Son asked you to walk. It is a matter of living with purpose and focus and a firm determination to make My Word the plumb line for all you do. And you know, it will give you joy, the joy of self-control and all the fruit of the Spirit in your life. It is a royal Way to walk. It is the High Way of My Way. It is your dignity, a royal priesthood, in Christ Jesus. You are a new creation in Christ and old things have passed away. It is time to step up and walk in the newness of abundant life.
I love you. Do not forget all your benefits. Don’t leave this world without enjoying them all and then just step through the open door to My Kingdom where you will find wonders beyond number and blessings beyond blessing, far beyond all you can ask or imagine. And how do they all begin? In the seed of meditation on My Word. And the more you abide in My Words, the deeper you attach to Me and the deeper I attach in you, for if you draw close to Me, I draw close to you. And how do you draw close to Me? By keeping My Word.
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.” John 14:23.
And being attached to the vine accelerates your growth and your harvest. It is called “miracle grow,” and that is the place of miracles. Grace upon grace, for without Me you can do nothing fruitful and nothing profitable as far as true profit goes.
