I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. John 10:14-15.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 62:2. The path of life is an upward path. It is a path on which you are led. It is not random and haphazard for I have given you one to guide you, to lead you, to protect you, to feed you, and to bless you. And He comes with One just like Him as well to be ever in you and with you.
Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21,
There is one thing everyone wants—to be loved and to love. And there is only one place you will find true, perfect, pure, all encompassing, ever growing, never fading, all pervading love. And that is in Me for I am perfect love. In Me you live, and move, and have your being.
By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10.
My love is manifested to you in Jesus, for I was in Christ reconciling the world to Myself, not counting your sins against you but putting all you sins on Jesus so that you are free.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. John 3:16-17.
Have you never read, “The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want.”? Do you believe it? Then why are you so fearful, anxious and worried a good amount of your day? And “I shall not want,” does not just mean finances, it means every area of your life—spiritual, emotional and physical, and that includes, but is not limited to your health, finances, relationships, work, projects, assignments, exams, errands, peace, and joy.
And Jesus told you that He is the fulfillment of David’s Shepherd song, Psalm 23, “I am the good Shepherd who lays down His life for His sheep.” He came to give you life, and life in abundance. I supply for all your needs according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus. All. If you have a need, I can fill it. Ask and you shall receive, for I know what you need even before you ask Me and have it all ready for you, you just must come to Me to receive it. And you come to Me through and in Jesus your Lord, Savior, great good Shepherd and great High Priest.
It has pleased Me to give the little flock of My Son the Kingdom. And everything you need it there. And there is something you cannot live without that I pour in your hearts by My Holy Spirit that I have given you: My love. It is yours if you will open your heart to receive it. But when you are worried, fearful, and anxious you constrict your heart and can receive very little of the love I am pouring into you. You close the pipe within you. But you can open it by trust, that is, by faith and hope. And then love can enter because faith works through love.
If you are feeling afraid, anxious, and trapped today because of sickness, pain, finances, the oppression of a family member, or just a dip in your emotions, it is time you lifted your eyes to your great Good Shepherd who is your rock, your fortress and your deliverer and realized you do have a leader to guide you out, a Way to My very throne of grace, a great High Priest who ever intercedes before Me on your behalf and a Father who shepherds you and blesses you by His strong right arm, Jesus, which I outstretch to save you and redeem you from all evil.
Oh you of little faith, why do you doubt? Does worrying accomplish anything? Only darkness which is contrary to who you are in Christ Jesus so you will not be happy there. I rescued you from the realm of darkness and transferred you to the Kingdom of My beloved Son who is forever the Light of the world. If you follow Him you cannot walk in darkness for He is Light. Awake, sleeper, and Christ will give you light. So walk in the light.
And how do you do that? Put on the helmet of Salvation, the mind of Christ, the breastplate of righteousness (who you are in Christ), the shield of faith (My promises), and take up the sword of the Spirit (My Word, and it is good to sing it). The song of the Sword. When Jacob blessed his son Joseph, he included the following: “The archers bitterly attacked him, and shot at him and harassed him; but his bow remained firm, and his arms were agile, from the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel, from the God of your father who helps you, and by the Almighty who blesses you.” Genesis 49:23-25. The devil will send fiery darts at you, but if you lift up your voice in a confession of hope (speaking My Word as applying to yourself), the shield of faith, you will guard your heart and turn back the weapons formed against you. Words are like arrows, and My Words are as a two edged sword, the most powerful of weapons. No weapon of the evil one can cross My Word. No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue raised against you proved false, such is the lot of My children.
And did you notice that Jacob called Me his Mighty One and that from Me would come the Shepherd, the stone of Israel? The stone of Israel that the builders rejected that has become the cornerstone. Build your life on Him, for He is a living stone, precious and perfect, your great good Shepherd who will lead you in righteous paths for the sake of My Name and take you to green pastures and refreshing, restful waters of peace. Guard your hearts with all diligence from other shepherds, do not let the voice of the stranger lead you, for there is only one great good Shepherd of the sheep, all others are thieves and marauders. There is only one door by which to enter the great sheepfold of the good Shepherd, and He is the door.
I did not give you a spirit of fear and anxiety. I gave One of power, love and a sound mind. The anointed mind of Christ. I have anointed your mind in Jesus your great High Priest with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Power. Love. Shalom. Shalom, shalom have those who fix their minds on Me, who trust in My Word. And it is the anointing with the oil of joy.
If you have no peace, it is your own fault for not guarding your heart. Do not let your hearts be troubled, do not let them be afraid. And there is only one way you do that. By your faith, it is the victory that overcomes the world. And faith speaks. And so must you. Hearing your own voice is sometimes the best way to hear My promises, for when I speak to you in your spirit, your spirit conveys the message to your soul (mind, will, and emotions) and then your own inner voice of your soul speaks My Word to your mind. So you are used to hearing from Me by your own voice within conveying the message of hope. So speak and sing aloud My promises as they fit your situation of the moment and you will find the strength you need to rise up and triumph is there. I will do the rest. But you must engage Me in your battle or I can only sympathize with your weakness. But if you will engage Me by My Word, I can come in and in weakness power reaches perfection.
Do you understand? I have a part but you have a part too, the better part of faith. I work, you rest in Me. You will work, but you will be at rest, for I will be directing your path and opening the way before you, walk with you, and be your rear guard. I am a Trinity, you know, though I am One God. I have you covered- past, present and future—you have nothing to fear. Not even death, for death is not the end, it is only the beginning of a beautiful, wondrous, thrilling, amazing eternity.
If you can trust Me with eternity, cannot you trust Me in time? I have not abandoned you, you know. I abandoned My Son on the Cross when He became sin for you, but I did that so that I would never abandon you.
Did you know the Resurrection is the fulfillment of Psalm 23? Have you never read: “Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21. And it is forever in Heaven: “They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7:16-17.
I love you. You are Mine. And I take care of My own. Let Me take care of you. Just cast all your cares on Me and watch Me work through you.
