Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:19-22.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
The path of life—the Blood makes the way, a new and living way; by My Word you are born again and My Word lights up the path; and My good Spirit guides you on level ground.
Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Your good Spirit lead me on level ground (in the land of uprightness). Psalm 143:10.
In My Kingdom of Heaven there is no sin or any stain of it. Heaven is a perfect place. How can that be when it is full of people who have lived upon the sin-stained earth and many of them did many sins starting with Adam?
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel. Hebrews 12:22-24.
When you step into Heaven you are made perfect, and you are perfected in unity as well. Everyone reigns there with Me and the Lamb. Revelation 22:5. How? Only overcomers are in Heaven, and you overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony.
Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?” I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. Revelation 7:13-15.
It is only by the Blood of Jesus that you enter the Kingdom of Heaven and are made perfect. Even on earth in the covenant I made with Moses and the descendants of Abraham it was a covenant of blood, the blood of the lamb freed them from the slavery of Egypt and covered them from divine justice for sin. You come to the Holy of Holies only one way, the way of the Blood. That is the path of life. For the life is in the blood.
For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement. Leviticus 17:11.
Everything must be cleansed by blood under the Covenant.
Therefore even the first covenant was not inaugurated without blood. For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded you.” And in the same way he sprinkled both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry with the blood. And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:18-22.
Be led by the Blood of the Lamb, the Blood speaks. If you look back to the beginning of sin in the earth and how I have dwelt with it to cover you from the wrath of divine judgment, you will see the blood. But it began in eternity past, for I look ahead and provide. I saw the sin, but I also saw the Lamb slain since the foundation of the world.
Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. 1 Peter 1:18-21.
When I saw the blood of the Passover lamb, I passed over those homes and did not allow the destroyer (justice for sin) to come in. Look back. When the first man and woman sinned I covered their nakedness, their exposed sin, with the skins of the lamb that was slain and shed its blood to clothe them. When Abel offered Me an acceptable sacrifice it was the life blood of the lamb. And when Cain slew Abel, Abel’s blood spoke of justice from the earth.
After the earth was cleansed of the sins of the violence in men’s hearts and of Nephilim, when Noah stepped out of the ark, he offered brunt offerings of every clean animal and I declared I would never again curse the ground or destroy every creature on earth.
When I made Covenant with Abraham we cut it with the sacrifice of clean animals and I with My Son walked between the cuttings in the path of the blood. And then I taught Abraham of the true blood of the lamb on Mt. Moriah in foretelling the sacrifice of My beloved Son, he built an altar to Me there and sacrificed a ram caught by its horn in the thicket as a burnt offering foretelling the sacrifice of My Son in place of Isaac and all sinful mankind, none of whom had pure uncorrupted eternal blood to offer for the eternal life you had lost. And He called My Name there on that mountain as the LORD who looks ahead and sees and provides.
And when I saw the blood and Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his beloved son as a sin offering, I promised him that his line would give birth to the seed I had foretold in the Garden that would crush the devil’s head and take down the gates of the enemies, that is, the devil’s realm on earth of darkness.
A life for a life and the life is in the blood. Divine justice was not satisfied until eternal blood was shed for the eternal blood lost. And only My Son born of a woman from the imperishable, incorruptible seed of My Word had eternal blood to give.
If Jesus had not come, you would all still be in your sins as descendants of Adam. Adam’s second birth through the lying and corruptible seed of the devil’s words had put all his descendants born of his corrupted seed into the devil’s realm with spirits that were dead to Me and alive to sin, and you could not enter My Kingdom.
But now My Son has come and My good pleasure was accomplished in His pierced and bloody hands. He took your sins on Himself and the pure eternal life He had in the flesh had to die for you because the wages of sin is death. He satisfied divine justice completely and took your sentence “dust you are and to dust you shall return,” and went down to the dust of death for you. He made a way for you out of that sentence that hung over mankind. And when I raised Him, He brought His Blood to Heaven to enter the Holy of Holies as your forerunner behind the veil to eternally make intercession for you on the altar, to continually cleanse you from all sin, once for all. The Blood speaks. Hebrews 12:24. And you must agree with it that your sins are gone by the Blood to plead it before Me.
But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:11-14.
All those sacrifices of the Old Covenant covered your sin but did not take it away. For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very substance of things, like a credit card payment still at one point needs to be paid with true substance. And the true substance for payment of all is Jesus. The blood of lambs, bull, and goats can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near. For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
There is only one pure eternal blood and that is the blood of the second Adam, that is, a man born from My Word with eternal life in His flesh, that has released you from your sins and made you a kingdom, priests unto Me. His Blood not only covered your sins, but it completely removed them so that not even the slightest hint of a stain is left in you.
For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach. Colossians 1:19-22.
But I had not quite finished telling of the blood that foretold Christ.
As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries, seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things into which angels long to look. 1 Peter 1:10-12.
It was the blood of the morning and evening sacrifice of the unblemished lamb that opened the way to travel and kept My people across the desert to the promised land, it was the blood of the sacrifices and in the Temple that saved the nation of Israel and brought favor upon them. And when they stopped the sacrifices and set up idols in the temple, it was then they were conquered, the temple destroyed, and they were carried off to Babylon. And it was the Blood that made the pagan King Cyrus and after him, King Darius, pay for the rebuilding of the temple and send the captive Israelites held in their land since Nebuchadnezzar conquered Jerusalem as free men and women back to Jerusalem to build the nation again and they reinstated all the sacrifices for sin that had been lost.
In the first year of King Cyrus, Cyrus the king issued a decree: ‘Concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, let the temple, the place where sacrifices are offered, be rebuilt and let its foundations be retained, its height being 60 cubits and its width 60 cubits; with three layers of huge stones and [e]one layer of timbers. And let the cost be paid from the royal treasury. Also let the gold and silver utensils of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took from the temple in Jerusalem and brought to Babylon, be returned and brought to their places in the temple in Jerusalem; and you shall put them in the house of God.’ Ezra 1:3-5.
And the pagan King Darius gave a decree as well, “Moreover, I issue a decree concerning what you are to do for these elders of Judah in the rebuilding of this house of God: the full cost is to be paid to these people from the royal treasury out of the taxes of the provinces beyond the River, and that without delay. Whatever is needed, both young bulls, rams, and lambs for a burnt offering to the God of heaven, and wheat, salt, wine and anointing oil, as the priests in Jerusalem request, it is to be given to them daily without fail, that they may offer acceptable sacrifices to the God of heaven and pray for the life of the king and his sons. And I issued a decree that any man who violates this edict, a timber shall be drawn from his house and he shall be impaled on it and his house shall be made a refuse heap on account of this. May the God who has caused His name to dwell there overthrow any king or people who attempts to change it, so as to destroy this house of God in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have issued this decree, let it be carried out with all diligence!” Ezra 1:8-12.
You recall that to enter the Holy of Holies the High Priest could only enter behind the veil with the blood of the lamb, goat or bull to sprinkle on and in front of the propitiatory (mercy seat) covering the Ark of the Covenant making atonement for the sins of the people. And on the cross when Jesus had shed all His blood, even to the piercing of His heart by the lance of the soldier, the veil in the temple covering the way to the Holy of Holies tore in two from top to bottom. Your great High Priest had entered, and He took you in with Him by the new and living way that is the path of life, the path of the Blood that washes you clean of every sin as if it had never been.
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:19-20.
There is a way, even when there seems no way, for you to be made holy, blameless, and perfect before Me—the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony. And that is the removal of sin and then being born again by the imperishable seed of My Word. You are made righteous in Jesus with My own righteousness. Like the sacrifices of old foreshadowed. And it was a path with two gates.
For the burnt offering, the sinner would come to the east gate of the tabernacle and enter with an unblemished lamb, the priest would inspect the lamb, not the sinner, and make sure it was pure and without fault, if it passed, the sinner laid his hand on the head of the pure lamb and all the sin in the sinner went into the lamb and the purity of the lamb transferred to him. He then cut the throat of the lamb and the blood poured out into a bowl and was then poured out upon the altar. the priest cut it up and burnt it on the bronze altar until all that was left was ashes, which were put at the east side of the altar and later taken by the priest to a clean place outside the camp and blown away by the wind. I had given you beauty for your ashes.
You entered the east gate with the lamb who was the sacrificed and its blood poured out and the gate that was in the inner court into the Holy of Holies, the veil, also could only be entered with blood to sprinkle on the mercy seat by the High Priest Himself.
And that is the way that the Blood of Jesus has opened for you—the path of life for the life, eternal life, is in the Blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement on the altar as My royal priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifice.
And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5.
The Blood of Lamb speaks for you, speaks of your forgiveness, and speaks to you of the way.
The Spirit, the water, and the Blood, these three testify to you that eternal life is in Jesus Christ. If you have Him, you have eternal life.
I love you. Just read the fifth chapter of the book of Revelation and you will see the saints in Heaven cannot stop talking about and praising the Blood of the Lamb. They know. There is no other way into Heaven than the Blood.
