But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day. Proverbs 4:18.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:

The path of life is the path of righteousness.

He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:3.

I want to speak with you today about the gift of righteousness. When you receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness you reign in life through Christ Jesus. Romans 5:17. You will be far from oppression. If you are interested in reigning in life, you would be wise to seek first My Kingdom and My righteousness. It will give you life that is life indeed.

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added (provided in abundance) to you. Matthew 6:33.

Please note that you are seeking My righteousness and not your own. And how do you find My righteousness? In Christ. If you have Jesus, you have everything.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love. He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, that he lavished on us. Ephesians 1:3-8.

I have given you My own righteousness to be your own in Christ Jesus. At that is the highest level of righteousness. I accounted all your sins to Jesus, and He took the punishment of death due them, and in Him I gave you My righteousness.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21.

The gift of righteousness that I give you freely in Jesus is a huge gift. All the people of the Old Covenant, indeed everyone in the world, is seeking righteousness, that is, to feel right and at peace about themselves. “I’m okay, your okay,” is what people try to reassure themselves with and take out the gnawing sense of guilt and unrighteousness that the devil has thrown over the human race since Adam first gave in to the devil’s wiles. But no amount of self-assurance will work to take out the stain of sin, only the Blood of Jesus will cleanse you of all unighteousness.

Righteousness puts you living under an open Heaven. But it does more than that. It makes your life free from oppression from the world, the flesh and the devil.

In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you.. Isaiah 54:14-15.

When you know you are right with Me, and I am your ultimate and only Judge with whom you have to account, there is no longer room for fear. The gift of righteousness immediately puts you at the finishing line of the Law. My people were to keep My Law to be righteous and that was the goal, for the righteous man is protected, blessed, and favored. And so are all who are in Christ Jesus the moment you receive Him as Lord you are made righteous—as if you had never sinned. That takes down the dividing wall your sins had put between Me and you. It tears the veil in two into My presence. You can enter with confidence sure of My oneness with you.

In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death. Proverbs 12:28.

I have made you beautiful in the garments of salvation and the robe of righteousness. His Blood has made you holy, blameless and beyond reproach in My sight. Your sins are gone, borne by Him who knew no sin but became sin for you all.

If you are seeking to be righteous by your own righteousness, your life will not be stabile and will be full of ups and downs, changing from one day to the next, and even from moment to moment depending on your own thoughts and behavior. But if you are seeking My righteousness, the Kingdom is already yours. For My righteousness never waivers. It is sure and constant. There is no darkness or unrighteousness in Me.

The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green, to declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Psalm 92:12-15.

You now can come to Me not on your own righteousness, but on that won for you by Christ Jesus. And you can come in Him with great confidence. Let go of all that would hold you back from coming to Me—once you have repented of your failures, sins, and omissions it will ruin your life and your prayers if all you do is talk about what you are not, how you have failed, and how you are disqualified from going forward with Me. Stop holding up your faults before Me and repeatedly begging Me to forgive you. Know that I did, I don not lie, and I have told you that once you confess your sins to Me I am faithful and just to forgive your sins and cleanse you of all your unrighteousness and let you know that you still have Mine! You are made right with Me by what Jesus did and joined with Me as one when you receive that.

Let go of the regrets, shame, embarrassment of the past, or even just yesterday or a few hours ago. Lay it out before Me and let Me cleanse you. It takes the Blood of Jesus. If you do not apply the Blood with love you will be filled with grief and sorrow over mistakes, sins, and abuses of the past. And you cannot bear that. This is the oppression of the devil that Jesus came to free and heal you from. The devil is trying to turn your against yourself and destroy yourself so that he just watches you do the work for him. Do not give place to him. He cannot take it but you can give it to him by grief, sorrow, fear, worry, bitterness, unforgiveness, hate, depression and the like. He is looking to find a place in you but the devil cannot force it. You have to take the thought in and open the door to the wrong flow. The flow of darkness.

The flow of Heaven is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirt. And it comes in that order. To have peace you have to know I have removed your sins and made you righteous in My sight, not counting your sins against you. And to have joy you must have peace in yourself. Peace with Me. And I made peace through the Blood of the Cross, reconciling all to Myself thereby.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:17-19.

How do you give the devil no place? For many of you have been giving him way too much space in your lives and are living under oppression.

You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38.

I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from all your destructions. You will never have the victory over oppression and unrest in your soul until you discipline your thought life and take back what is yours. What is yours? Jesus gave you His peace and He gave you His joy. And He told you what to do to keep it—do not let your heart be troubled nor let it be afraid. And He told joy came from Him sharing My Words with you and your abiding in My Words and My Words abiding in you. And I tell you that I have made you righteous as a gift.

Do not get bitter at people or at Me due to where you are. You have framed your world by your thoughts and your words. But I am talking about something very different here.

Do you recall that Joseph, the son of Jacob who his brother’s sold as a slave? It landed him in Egypt among strangers and even ended for a time in a prison that looked like there was not way out. But Joseph asked the right questions, in other words, he concentrated on going forward not back. He did keep considering who put him there, but went forward to seek why was he there. Remember what he told his cruel brothers?

“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.” Genesis 50;20.

He was not blaming anyone for being put there, he was focusing on why he was put there. He was living for purpose and not for things that did not really matter in the plan I had for him to complete in this world.

Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Please come closer to me.” And they came closer. And he said, “I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt. Now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life. For the famine has been in the land these two years, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting. 7 God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to keep you alive by a great deliverance. Now, therefore, it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of all his household and ruler over all the land of Egypt. Hurry and go up to my father, and say to him, ‘Thus says your son Joseph, “God has made me lord of all Egypt; come down to me, do not delay. Genesis 45:4-9.

Do you recall when Elijah had just done a mighty work of calling the nation of Israel back to Me from idols by calling down fire from Heaven and then his prayers stopped the drought his prayers had brought to the land, what he did? Wrong thoughts. Jezebel threatened him and on the threat of one woman, he dropped the revival and ran. All he wanted to do was die, belittling his life and work as a prophet by saying no one was changing and no one else was serving Me but him. I direct him to a cave on Mt. Horeb and I spoke to him gently. But I did not ask him any questions but one, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” And he kept trying to answer who put him them there and his bitterness in his heart that serving Me seemed to be getting no result, that he was the only one who had not bowed to Baal. but I was after a different answer.

And I want you to ask yourself that question now, “What are you doing here?” Meaning where you are at the moment. And answer it with a Kingdom dream, a Kingdom assignment. But why not just use the same one I gave Paul and indeed all of you are to be My witnesses in whatever walk of life, whatever path of life you are on:

And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew dialect, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ And I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And the Lord said, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. But get up and stand on your feet; for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness not only to the things which you have seen, but also to the things in which I will appear to you; rescuing you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you, to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’ Acts 26:14-18.

And that is where righteous paths will take you, to do the works Jesus did, for I sent Him to seek out and save the lost—to go about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil.

I want to tell you something to comfort you now. Many of you are trapped into believing I am displeased with you and you have lost your future and your hope for sins you have done, you are always bringing up your faults and failures. But that is not My thoughts, that is the devil’s thoughts and you have opened your mind to them and they are condemning you. You are destroying yourself. Stop living for the devil and unrighteousness and start living for Me unto righteousness. Wake up to the righteousness that is yours in Christ Jesus.

Your sins and offenses I remember NO MORE. It is no longer your fault, you who are in Christ by faith in Him. I know you did it, but He took ALL your sins, faults, failures, sicknesses, pains, griefs and sorrows, and if He took them, you no longer have them. Stop trying to grab them away from Him, that is dishonoring the Blood.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool.” Isaiah 1:18.

I cleanse you and make your righteous.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor perverts, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.

I am your wisdom, your righteousness, your sanctification, and your redemption, and I do it all by My Word. And that is how you must do it as well. Renew your mind to that you know without a doubt that I have made you righteous before Me, not by any works you have done, though now going forward, you are to walk as who you are: RIGHTEOUS.

But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written, “Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31.

I love you and have made you righteous. It is yours, walk in righteousness with grateful, joyful heart.

No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” declares the LORD.
