Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.” John 11:25-26.
Today your LORD (יהיה) God (אלוהים) says:
Resurrection makes you strong and courageous. Your life is changed but never ended. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. In Him you have eternal life. Do you believe that? If you do, you have no fear of death.
Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. Hebrews 2:14-15.
You are no longer under the law of sin and death but of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. There is now no condemnation for you in Christ Jesus. Released by the blood of Jesus from your sins, your name is forever in the Book of Life.
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1-4.
In Him, your sins are gone, accounted to Him, and you have become righteous with My own righteousness. This is a gift of grace received by faith. You do not earn it, you receive it and then walk in it.
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
And the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, getting brighter and brighter as you go along until the perfect, everlasting day fills every part of your being and Christ raises you up to that never-ending day. Resurrection is victory over the grave.
But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 15:54-57.
Say it now, “I have the victory, in Christ it’s given me! In Him I am the righteousness of God.” Boldly declare that and let Me led you in triumph, spreading the sweet aroma of My love and filling wherever you go with My light. Let your light shine before men so they can see Me in you by your goodness. My glory is My goodness, My presence and My power. Resurrection power.
My resurrection power is at work in you by My Spirit dwelling in you. For you who have received Jesus as your Lord are given the right to be My children and you have received the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Sonship. He is One with Me and My Son, My very own Spirit, who witnesses with your spirit that you are My children and heirs. Heirs in accord with My promise and joint heirs with Christ Jesus, My Son. And I have given Him all things, beautiful is your inheritance, and the good news is you have it already available to you.
The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not believe the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” John 3:25-26.
Jesus saves you from the wrath to come, that is, the justice that must be done for sin.
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Romans 5:8-10.
And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come. 1 Thessalonians 1:10.
Judgment will come, individually and collectively, but for those who are in Christ Jesus, you have already been judged with Him and acquitted in Him.
“And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath came, and the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to reward Your bond-servants the prophets and the saints and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.” Revelation 11:28.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My Word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” John 5:24.
Sin is lawlessness and it destroys, it is already condemned and sentenced. John 16:8-11. That is the law of sin and death. The wages of sin is death. There is no escape from My justice but there is redemption. How? Jesus freely took your sins into His own sinless flesh and give his eternal life for the eternal life you lost. He took your sentence of “Dust you are and to dust you shall return,” the second death that is forever in the confinement of hell, and set you free. He released you from your sins by taking them, that is, letting Me account your sins to Him, the sinless One, and take your just punishment for you. And the atonement is in the blood, for the life is in the blood. He tasted death for you so that you will never have to taste the dust of death.
But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone. Hebrews 2:9.
When you took Jesus as your Lord, you died to sin with Him and I raised you to new life in Him as a new creation in Christ, born again by My imperishable Word of truth. Your spirit was resurrected, and My Spirit came to live in your spirit, but your body has not yet received resurrection. But it will without doubt.
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13-14.
And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. Romans 8:23.
You are seated with Christ in Heaven in your spirit but you are still in the world because of your body to do My work on earth. You are in the world but not of the world that you should be conformed to the fears and lusts of the worldly minded who are still under condemnation.
In Adam, all were born again from life to death by the corruptible seed of the devil’s lies. But in Christ, the curse is reversed, and you are born again from on High by the incorruptible seed of My Word of truth.
For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:23.
If you are not in Christ, that is, if you have not clothed yourself in Christ by being baptized into Christ, you are still in your sins.
And Jesus was saying to them, “You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.” John 8:23-24.
If you are in Christ, you will fall asleep in what the world calls death, that is, physical death, but you will rise immortal. The second death of spirit, soul, and body no longer has any right to take you when you are shielded in Him, when you are clothed in Him.
I began a good work in you and prepared a life of good deeds for you in Christ Jesus before you were born, even before I formed you in your mother’s womb. And that path for your life is ready and waiting for you to travel it and enjoy all the wondrous adventures and discoveries I have to show you. And in that path of life is resurrection power. It is time you knew and tapped into what I have placed in you and provided for you. My servant Paul was well aware of the power in him that quickened his body with strength and got him back up even when his adversaries stoned him and left him for dead, even when his back had been beaten with rods and his feet were shackled in a dark prison, that power worked miracles in Him. I light the lamp of your spirit with resurrection power and that lamp travels through your innermost parts healing, restoring, and giving you new life even now.
The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the innermost parts of his being. Proverbs 20:27.
Paul prayed that you would know the power that is in you and walk in the power of that revelation.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:17-23.
My power is at work in you doing beyond all you can ask or think. You have been filled with My fullness, as much as you will open your heart to receive. For I have poured My love into your heart by the gift of the Holy Spirit. And I am love so I have poured Myself into you. And for those who renew their minds with My Word and speak My Words, I give the Spirit without measure.
Jesus had so much to share with His disciples but they did not understand what resurrection of the dead meant in its fullest sense, though they saw it in an earthly context in Lazarus, until they encountered Jesus in the upper room after He had died. And then they had a joy no one could take from them that made them strong and courageous, that empowered them to go forward. And then on Pentecost when My Spirit fell and filled them with fire and other tongues everything changed. They became resurrection witnesses—fearless heralds of the good news of salvation, of grace, of the New Covenant, and of the Kingdom. For they were no longer merely mortal men, they had become the body of Christ, the glorious church, in the world—a whole new creation, one new man with their head and one another.
“I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you. John 16:12-15.
And what was the power that flowed and that flows in you by the same Spirit? Resurrection power! The power that raised Jesus from the depths of hell to the heights of Heaven. And when I raised Him I raised you with Him and gave you the gift of the born again children of God—My Spirit to fill you with the fullness of Myself.
All My magnificent promises, as many as they be, are “YES!” to you in Christ Jesus your Lord. Now and forever. Welcome to your beautiful life of victory! Enjoy it. Rejoice always in your resurrection power, pray without ceasing so we can fellowship in My Spirit, and give constant thanks as I work mighty miracles through and with you by My resurrection power that I share with you. You can change your sad story to the true story of your life: beloved, forgiven, blessed, favored, and empowered to prosper!
I love you. Be strong and courageous, and go out with joy and be led by peace, all I have and am is yours, you have only to receive it.
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21.
