Behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-21.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:

The Name of Jesus. His Name, which I have given you, makes you strong and courageous. Why? Everything is summed up in Him and everything is reconciled with Me in Him. And His Name is above every other name that is named. He inherited His Name from Me and you who believe in Him as Lord, you who are heirs of Salvation, have inherited His Name.

The Name you call “Jesus” was spoken first in Hebrew and it is “Yeshuah.” And it is the Hebrew word “Salvation.” If you did a literal translation of His Name to English, it would be “Salvation.” And that Name tells you who He is. Your salvation in every situation and in every arena of your life. He is your everything.

He is the firstborn of many brethren. All born again believers are His brethren before Me. And more than that, members of His body—the church upon earth. The church of the firstborn.

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels in festal gathering, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel. Hebrews 12:22-24.

Do you know His Name? No one can say “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit. There is POWER in His Name. For it is My Name. I AM the God of your Salvation, and I was in Him reconciling the world to Myself through Him. His Name moves everything in Heaven and on earth and under the earth.

Everything Jesus did, He did for you, individually and collectively, but primarily for each of you individually for I know you all by name and the plans that I have for your unique life are all written in My scroll before you were born in the flesh. And they are for eternity so they outnumber the sands of the sea.

Yes, everything Jesus did He did for YOU.

He was forsaken, so you would never be forsaken.

About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Matthew 27:46.

He was punished for sin so that you would never be punished for sin.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. Ephesians 1:7-8.

He took the sentence of death you had incurred, so that your sentence was satisfied and paid in full giving you release and acquittal.

When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Colossians 2:13-14.

He was scourged with bloody stripes so that you are not subject to the scourge of sin, that is sickness, pain, and eternal death.

He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24.

Surely our sickness He Himself bore, and our pains He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5.

He tasted death, He went down to the dust of death, Psalm 22:15, He went to hell, so that you will never go there or die.

But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone. Hebrews 2:9.

He became a curse for you will never be cursed, for, in Him, you are redeemed from the curse and have the blessing of Abraham and the promise of the Spirit by faith.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”— in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14.

Jesus released you from your sins by His blood and made you a kingdom, priests unto Me to reign upon the earth.

To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Revelation 1:5-6.

When He died to sin once for all, you died to sin. When I raised Him from the dead, I raised you with Him, and seated you with Him next to Me in Heaven. Ephesians 2:6.

Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:8-11.

You have a gift, a treasure, a purpose, and favor all because of Him. And all that is summed upp in His magnificent Name: SALVATION, Yeshuah, Jesus. In Him you are saved in the strong tower of His Name from all that would harm you—spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and financial. In Him you have salvation in totality and that is the meaning of SHALOM. And that is My plan for you.

His Name is called Wonderful. His Name is called “God with us.”

I have given Him all authority in Heaven and on earth and He has shared that with you by authorizing you to use His Name. It is His Name that opens My rich treasure house to you. He is the door to every other door in My Kingdom.

He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says this: I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My Word, and have not denied My Name. Revelation 3:7-8.

When you have that Name you have Salvation and in Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. You can draw all you need and more from Him, for He is the Vine and you are the branches. He is your eternal life and He is your life now. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no abundant blessed life outside of Him. All things were created through Him and for Him. In Him is light, light for the life of mankind. Without Him your time and your eternity mean nothing, with Him they mean everything. Joy is one thing: Jesus Over You.

Who is He to you? First, let the angels tell you:

Behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-21.

The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.” Luke 1:30-33.

And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is the Messiah and Lord.” Luke 2:9-11.

From this you see He saves you from your sins, He is My Son, I give Him the throne of David, He reigns over My people forever, and His Kingdom has no end. He is your Savior, your Messiah, and your Lord.

But there is more that you have because of Him. You can use His Name as agents and ambassadors on earth to do the works He did and greater. I have given you the gift of fruitful works that endure in giving you His Name. I have given you the key to miracles and mighty deeds of power for My people. I have given you the key to administering My promises of healing, prosperity, blessing, and freedom from the curse to others through your hands in His, for when you use His Name, your faith in His Name, activates His faith to flow through you for miracles. Like Peter and John when they raised up the man crippled from birth at the beautiful gate of the temple in the Name of Jesus.

Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer. And a man who had been lame from his mother’s womb was being carried along, whom they used to set down every day at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, in order to beg alms of those who were entering the temple. When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he began asking to receive alms. But Peter, along with John, fixed his gaze on him and said, “Look at us!” And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!” And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened. With a leap he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God; 10 and they were taking note of him as being the one who used to sit at the Beautiful Gate of the temple to beg alms, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. Acts 3:1-10.

And how did Peter explain this wonderful miracle of healing to the amazed crowd that had witnessed it? Not his or John’s power but the power in the Name.

And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all. Acts 3:16.

And how did Peter explain this miracle to the priests and Pharisees as they questioned him about it?

Rulers and elders of the people, if we are on trial today for a benefit done to a sick man, as to how this man has been made well, let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by this name this man stands here before you in good health. He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief corner stone. And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:8-12.

Jesus had taught them to pray and to use His Name in that way, to bring about the works I had Him do while He was on earth and greater and to cast out demons, and He teaches the same to you. He is your teacher. It is not just tacking the phrase “in Jesus’ Name,” at the end of your prayers, as many do as if of rote, although that is better than not. But it should be the origin of the work you do on earth since He has sent you as I sent Him.

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:12-14

And again,

Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full. These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language but will tell you plainly of the Father. In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father. I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; I am leaving the world again and going to the Father.” John 16:23-28.

These are amazing, wonderful, precious, magnificent promises. It is the culmination of His ministry on earth and then His new ministry by the Spirit from Heaven in you His body, His church, on the earth. But how do you have all this and what does it mean? It is the life of abiding in Him and of being like Him.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. John 15:7-8.

To use His Name you must be walking as He walks and talking as He talks. Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord.

The Jews then gathered around Him, and were saying to Him, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.” Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these testify of Me. John 10:24-25.

He used My Name to do the works He did, and they testified to Me, to who I am.

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16.

Your works testify by whom you were sent.

But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish—the very works that I do—testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me. John 5:36.

Jesus told you that as I had sent Him, so He sends you.

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them and *said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. John 20:21-22.

Your works should be His works and greater so that your works in His Name testify of who He is, and that is who I am for in seeing Him you see Me.

So to use His Name you need to know His ways, for He told you that I never left Him but was always with Him to do the great works through Him because He always did what pleased Me. You would be wise to do this as well.

There has never been any one like Jesus and yet He became one of you.  And I have told you that you can be like Him, in fact, that is My Will for each and every one of you, that you become conformed to the image of My Son so that He would be the first born of many brothers.  Romans 8:29.

Jesus was so totally given to Me that nothing but My Words, works, and power flowed through Him.  The healing power that comes from Me by the Holy Spirit found no hindrance in Him and could flow freely out to heal those in need of healing.  It was sure to flow.  He never released His faith but what it achieved the purpose for which He released it.  No word of His was void or without effect.  When His disciples could not cast out a demon or heal the sick, He could.  And yet He had emptied Himself of His God powers and become as one of you in all things but sin.

And this is the key for what I am telling you today.  He could have sinned, He had the same opportunities to do so that you do, but He never did.  That is the key to letting My power flow unhindered through you so that you ask what you want and it is done for you.  John 15:7.  No sin was found in Jesus.  The devil found no place in Him.  John 14:30-31.  The devil, evil, had no hold on My Son.  So I was in Him with no hindrance.

He always did what pleased Me so I was always with Him and when I am with you who or what can be against you?

Jesus walked in the light.  He is pure.  And when you step into and remain in the light, you become light.  And light produces goodness.

My Son emptied Himself of His own interests.  He did not get in the way of My grace, My power, My life flowing in and through Him.  He stepped aside and let Me do My perfect work in Him and through Him.  He was transparent, open to Me.  Nothing of self hindered the flow—no lust, no offense, no idle words or works—nothing but love was found in Him, so My power had no hindrance to move.

He was just as you are in every way but He never compromised with sin.  Thus My absolute fullness could reside in Him without measure.  There were no hindrances, stumbling blocks, in Him.

I tell you in My Word, and I do not lie, My Word is truth, that you can be conformed to My Son.  I tell you that believers will do the works He did and greater.

You need to die to yourself with Christ and rise up to newness of life.  You need to be transformed by the renewal of your mind. You must die to yourself to have Me flow through you without hindrance so that you can live a life of pure power where none of your words or prayers go without producing the result for which they were intended.  Just like Jesus.

You must be as He is in this world.  And I tell you that if you believe you are.  Everyone who has this hope based on Him keeps himself pure as He is pure.  To live a powerful, fruitful life of miracles, signs and wonders as Jesus did you must LIVE PURE as He did.

As long as you are seeking your own glory and comfort you are not living pure so that My power can flow through you without hindrance as it did through Jesus. I could pour My Spirit into Him without measure because He put no limits on Me.  When you have self-getting in the way you hinder the flow of the Spirit.  Remember Jesus told the Pharisees that He did not seek His own Glory but only Mine.  He was very clear that He did not take any credit for the works He did but attributed all His miracles to Me, saying He did nothing on His own but only said My Words and that the works He did were done by My working in Him.

And yet I have glorified Him above and beyond all in Heaven and on earth and under the earth though He did not seek it, I promoted Him to it. Understand that the greatest one among you is the one who serves the rest. People thing putting themselves ahead of others wins them the glory, but it does not in My Kingdom.

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11.

Because He spoke only My Words, I could pour My Spirit into Him without measure.  John 3:34. Because He refused to let sin enter Him, He was a pure vessel that did not mix anything else in with My pure love.

He was open only to Me.  And that is the key to powerful living. Shut all evil and darkness out of your heart.  Do not permit it or entertain it.  Humility, love and reverence are the way to enter into the glorious existence.

How do you become like Jesus so you can live the powerful life where you are always able to accomplish My Works as healer, provider, deliverer, and shelter?

Let Me tell you. You must take Jesus as your teacher.  I tell you this in My Word, but many miss its full implication. If you want to do the works He did and greater you must learn from Him how to do them.

I told you that every student who is fully trained will be like his teacher.  Just like his teacher.  Luke 6:40.  I told you that you have but one Teacher and that is the Messiah.  Matthew 23:8-10.  On the mountain of the Transfiguration I told you, “This is My Beloved Son, listen to Him!” Mark 9:7.  Jesus told you to come to Him and learn from Him.  Jesus told you that He is the way, the truth, and the life—that He is the light of the world.  Mary told you to do whatever He tells you.  I tell you to be conformed to the image of My Son.

I, the Father, am the source.  I am the Creator, the Healer, the miracle worker, the Provider, the Victory, the Almighty.  I give you grace, gifts, and mercy.

Jesus is the Teacher, the Shepherd, the Guide, the Way to Me.  He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the light of the World to lead all to Me.  In Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.  You see in the Book of Proverbs that Wisdom is a teacher that calls out to you to come to her table.

The Holy Spirit is the way I and My Son communicate with you.  He is the way I and My Son reveal things to you.  The way we instruct you and the way you receive power and are born again.  He is the one that makes you partakers of My nature.  By My Spirit I guide and lead you.  He reveals My deep thoughts to you.  He teaches you all things.  He testifies to Jesus.

Jesus teaches you by the Holy Spirit in you.

You must become like Jesus.  Conformed to His image.  You will become like your teacher if you spend enough time listening to and imitating Him.  If you emulate His purity.  If you refuse to entertain sin or thoughts that lead to sin.

As He is so are you in this world. You must live, walk, talk, and be as He was on earth and as He is now.

Jesus teaches you how to relate to Me, how to pray to Me, and how to please Me.

This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. John 17:3-5.

Jesus never said He was the Healer or Provider.  He said that He did nothing on His own of the great works He did but that it was Me doing My work in Him.  He told you that He is your Teacher, your good Shepherd, the Gate, the Bread of Life, the Way, the Truth, the Life, the Resurrection and the Life, the Vine, the Door, and the Light of the world.  He told you that He came to testify to the truth and to bring you abundant life.  He told you I sent Him to preach the good news of the Kingdom and to seek out and save the lost.  He told you to pray to Me and ask for good things believing that you have received them, but He told you to learn from Him.  He is the great teacher who shows you how to live as He did and how to let Me do My Works in the world through you.

I gave you the law through Moses but I give you grace and truth through My Son Jesus. My life flows into your humanity from My divinity through His humanity and your life flows back to Me in Him from your humanity to My divinity, for He, as true God and true Man, unites God and Man in one seamless life. I have made Him your brother, your kinsman redeemer, and your High Priest before Me who ever intercedes for you.  He is your Savior.  Without Jesus you would still be dead in your sins and trespasses.

And He is your teacher.  He will show you how to live a life of power and great works that bless everyone on earth if you choose to listen and to set aside any encumbrance of sin and selfishness that would hinder My work in you.  If you are willing to empty yourself as He did to become full of Me.  The fullness of the Godhead can dwell in you just as it did in Him. But it is then you will be powerful and free as you have been seeking to be but in the eternal way.

There has never been anyone that lived the consecrated life as Jesus did.  Peter and Paul came close, and what deeds of power they did!  But no one has ever emptied themselves of self like My Son did.  Are you willing to commit to it?  It is the most wonderful powerful free precious way to live, beyond what you could ever fathom, if you want it.  And you can have it.  You can do the works He did and greater.  Are you ready to get yourself out of the way and step into the glorious existence?

Start by denying yourself any impure, idle thoughts or conversation.  Think only on what is truth, noble, excellent, and praiseworthy.  Stop taking offense and worrying about revenge.  Stop grabbing everything as fast as you can before others get it.  Stop gossiping and judging.  Start loving and forgiving.  Let go of greed and bitterness. Let go of immoral, lustful thoughts and replace them with My Word.  My Word is pure and sweet.

Spend your days with Me and with your teacher Jesus.  I once spoke to you in varied ways through the prophets but now I speak to you directly through My Son.  Listen to Him.  Begin by reading His Words in the Gospels and making a careful study of His ways, His words, and His life.  You will become like your teacher.

I love you. I have made a way for you right to My throne.  A way to live a life where no word of yours is without effect for My power will flow through you without hindrance.  And that way is Jesus, your teacher, your guide, your shepherd, and your brother! In tomorrow’s life lesson we shall discuss more what it means to pray in His Name.
