But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. John 4:23.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
Your strength and your courage come in the flow of worship. Joy and confidence come in the flow of worship. The beauty of holiness lies in the flow of worship. The anointing pours in the flow of worship. Divine direction comes in the flow of worship. Worship is the flow of Heaven, it is the flow of the Kingdom, and it is My flow, I am enthroned, dwell, in the place of worship. And My eyes roam to and fro across the earth seeking true worshippers. And I define true worshippers as those who worship Me in spirit and truth.
What is worship? Most people think they know but what you think you know, often you do not know, or at least do not know the magnitude of it. Church services often set a time aside for “praise and worship” and that is good, but worship is a lifestyle, a flow you must live in day and night to be in the place of the anointing, which is the place of answers, strength, courage, joy, confidence, and miracles.
The way the world defines worship is essentially giving great honor, devotion, and obeisance to something or someone that you value highly and are devoted to, usually to which or whom you attribute divine attributes. But the true worship that I am seeking is beyond that to a whole new level. It is at the level of knowing that only comes by revelation of the Spirit, which is available to everyone. Jesus was speaking of this to the Samaritan woman at the well.
The woman said to Him, “Lord, I perceive that You are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you people say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:19-24.
Here is My definition of worship, for to worship Me, you must know Me, and that is eternal life. WORSHIP IS A NEVER-ENDING FLOW OF GRATEFUL LOVE THAT COMES FROM YOUR BORN-AGAIN SPIRIT (“HEART”) IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH.
And that is worship in spirit and in truth. And to go further, My Spirit dwells within your born-again spirit and My Word is truth, the truth which sanctifies you and sets you apart as holy. When you abide, continue, and remain in My Word so that it becomes the way you think, talk, and walk, you are truly My disciple (truly following My ways), and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
The flow of worship is a flow of freedom. Freedom from all that would bind you, hinder you, and encumber you from living a lifestyle of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, in other words, all the encumbers you from living days of Heaven on earth by living in the flow of Heaven.
Worship is freedom from the chains that bind you, and you see this literally taking place when Paul and Silas turned to the flow of worship rather than fear and depression in their imprisonment in Philippi where they were chained in stocks in the innermost, darkest cell, and once they were in the flow of worship the prison shook and all the chains fell off and the gates swung open. That is what it means to live in the flow of worship in spirit and truth. Worship causes hindrances to fall, disappear, go beneath your feet and lifts you above the storm. It brings you to a place of knowing where you see as I see.
My direction for any given situation comes in worship as well as direction for your entire life. I tell you that I direct you by My eye. My eyes are on true worshippers. I tell you that I am seeking them. My eyes roam to and fro across the earth seeking those whose hearts are towards Me to show Myself strong on their behalf. And worshippers are looking at Me so our eyes meet in that flow. And that is where direction comes.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, otherwise they will not come near to you. Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in the Lord, lovingkindness shall surround him. Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones; and shout and sing for joy, all you who are upright in heart. Psalm 32:8-11.
I show Myself strong on behalf of true worshippers. What does that mean? I told Moses I would bring My covenant people out of the bondage of slavery in Egypt by My strong, outstretched hand and the sign would be that I would bring them to worship on My holy mountain where I spoke to him from the burning bush.
But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?” And He said, “Certainly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall worship God at this mountain.” Exodus 3:11-12.
I fight for you in miraculous ways by giving you the battle strategies and the strength and courage to go forward and take the victory I set out before you, but it all comes in the flow of worship. This is what happened when Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah put aside fear, put their eyes on Me, and entered into the flow of worship. There is great reward in obeying My Word. I can take you from strength to strength on your path to the heavenly Zion, which is already yours in the flow of worship.
What does worship look like? Live like? You can look at the glimpses I give you of the Kingdom of Heaven in the book of Revelation in the visions I gave My beloved John on Patmos, but it can easily be summarized in what I declare is My Will for you in Christ Jesus, namely, rejoice always, pray without ceasing and give constant thanks. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. That is what worship looks like and that is what the lifestyle of worship is about—constant communication in the connection of precious victorious faith. It is the way of trust. It is the way of peace. It is the way of joy. And it is the way of miracles. Why? Because you know that everything will work together for your good. And that is the knowing in Heaven. How great is the goodness I have stored up for those who love Me!
Do you remember that when Moses asked to see My glory I responded that I would show him My goodness? Heaven and earth are filled with My glory! You could just as well say that Heaven and earth are filled with My goodness. Every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down from Me, your Father of lights. I told you who believe that you are the light of the world and you must let that light shine in such a way that others will see the goodness of your works and glorify Me, your Father in Heaven. Matthew 5:16. Glory and absolute goodness are one in the same for glory comes when I manifest My goodness, presence and power. And that is when the Kingdom comes to touch the earth. The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, it is within your born again spirit where My Spirit dwells, for through Him comes the flow of Heaven as the anointing and the living water.
Heaven is a place of worship—a place of overflowing grateful love and there My Will is done perfectly. There is no evil or darkness in Heaven. Why? The atmosphere of worship makes it impenetrable to evil. And in that place of worship, direction manifests in works of excellence, glory, and the beauty of holiness. Worship is beautiful and makes those who are in its constant flow beautiful. Worship fills a place with light and peace and darkness and confusion find no place there and must flee.
Please understand this, you are always in some kind of flow as your lifestyle. There is a flow of depression, there is a flow of fear, there is a flow of bitterness, a flow of anger, and many other destroying flows that will give you torment and addictions. There are also flows of pride, perversity, immorality, lust, which give fleeting pleasures of sensuality, worldly power and prestige, and quick highs to your flesh and emotions, but, like happened in the life and death of Herod, these flows ultimately consume and destroy your fruitfulness and your very life and being, wherein I am speaking of eternal life and your redemption and glorification. These destroying flows are not of Me and are not of Heaven, they are the flows of hell. Beware of them for their ebb and flow ultimately are the tides that pull you into hell on earth and hell eternally.
The lifestyle of worship is a higher level of life. It is a higher flow in which you live, move, and breathe, than that of the flesh. It is a place of answers, not questioning doubt. It is a place of knowing, not of confusion. It is a place of strength and beauty. It is walking in the spirit and not in the flesh. It is living by faith and not by sight.
You choose the flow in which you live by where you put your attention. It is that simple. It all comes down to whether you put your attention on man or God. Whether you put your attention on the problem or on the solution, on the words of the world and of the doctrines, theories, and philosophies of ungodly men, or on My Words and My teachings.
Where is your treasure? That is where your heart, that is, your attention, will be.
If the flow of your life is not working to give you days of Heaven on earth, then it is time to work on where you are putting your attention. Faith works so if things in your life are not working as I promise in My Word, you are not of faith but of sight. Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith, whether you know that Christ is in you, your hope of glory. Do you not know you are a temple of the Holy Spirit? That My Spirit dwells in you? It is time you got your attention off your flesh and worldly godless philosophies and on the Holy Spirit, the Divine genius, within you and get in His flow, which is the flow of the Kingdom of Heaven. But remember this as well, faith works through love. This has many layers, until you know and believe in the love I have for you, your faith will not work at maximum level. But also faith can only connect fully to receive when your heart is free from bitter roots, unforgiveness, anger and other emotions against love that clog the pipeline of faith. Look at your heart for forgiveness and love as well. Pull out the bitter roots with My love and the anointing that are both poured into your heart by the gift of My Holy Spirit.
I have commanded you to keep your eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of your faith and you know who He is, yes, your good Shepherd and your great High Priest, but He is MY WORD. So I am telling you to keep your eyes on MY WORD only. Just as I told Joshua so many years ago. It would be well for you to review that so you can forge new paths along ancient ways. Joshua 1:7-9. Why? Because My ways work, and man’s do not. Just inquire of Adam.
If you are worried and thinking of the problems that are overwhelming you, refocus your attention on Me and worship. Sing, shout, declare, and confess with your mouth the good things I promise you that you so want to have. Why? The good news is they are already yours in Christ Jesus and that they all come to you through My glory that manifests in the flow of worship. Do not fear, believe only, and that shows in a lifestyle of worship. Just read chapters 4 and 5 of the Book of Revelation and Psalm 100. Grateful love cannot stay silent.
I love you. You can rest in the flow of worship in perfect quietness and joy in all your being but there comes a point when your cup runs over with the anointing and you have to shout, sing, and dance in the Spirit. And if you instead start the shouts of joyful, thankful praise while you are dry and discouraged, very soon, in a matter of five or ten minutes usually, you will be running over if you are worshipping in spirit and truth. The voice of thanksgiving works wonders. But that is for another life lesson.
