Even those I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.” Isaiah 56:7.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
Prayer makes you strong, unceasing prayer makes unceasing strength. Prayer composes and quiets your agitated soul.
Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; like a weaned child rests against his mother, my soul is like a weaned child within me. Psalm 131:2.
Prayer takes you above what binds you to the realm of the impossible made very possible. It puts you in the eye of the hurricane. In the storm but not of the storm. Jesus in the storm was composed and calm and He calmed the winds and the sea as well. If you let yourself get agitated, upset, and hysteric you will grab at things and do things that will destroy your life and that of others. Prayer brings you back from despair to hope.
Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence. Psalm 42:5.
Prayer is the difference between floating and flailing for a drowning man. The difference between a day of desperate grabbing at anything to fill the void and a day of resting in green pastures by waters of peace fully satisfied.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
Without prayer you are weak and not at ease with yourself or others, with prayer, and I am speaking true prayer, you are strong and at ease with yourself and others, but most especially, and that is where true peace stems from, at ease with Me. It is easy to rest (you will be at ease in your soul) in the flow of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, for it is there you are surrounded, filled with, and held steady by love. My faithfulness, My truth, is a shield and buckler. You are surrounded with the shield of My good Will. But the only way to tap into this is prayer. Fellowship. Draw close to Me, and I will draw close to you. But there is only one way you draw close to anyone and that is heart-to-heart communication.
Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. Psalm 62:8.
Whenever you are afraid, whenever you are disturbed, whenever you are anxious, I have given you the antidote, turn to Me in prayer. But not a whiny, begging prayer, filled with self-pity, no, a prayer in the light of My love.
The LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime; and His song will be with me in the night, a prayer to the God of my life. Psalm 42:8.
A prayer where you lean on Me, draw deep into Me, for your answer in your agitation. And the peace beyond understanding will guard your heart and your mind in Me, that is in Christ Jesus for He is your peace. Peace with Me and peace with yourself.
When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul. Psalm 94:19.
I give you song-prayers in the night. In the darkness of your life, wake the dawn with your prayer in song.
And I want to talk to you about a prayer that is pleasing to Me that My Son lives to do. A prayer that will lift you to another level than just looking at yourself and that is intercessory prayer. I am looking for intercessors.
And He saw that there was no man, and was astonished that there was no one to intercede; then His own arm brought salvation to Him, and His righteousness upheld Him. Isaiah 59:16.
And Jesus always does what pleases Me.
Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25.
And again,
Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Romans 8:33-34.
I tell you to be conformed to My Son, to imitate Me as My dear children and walk in love. He is the faithful and true witness who loves you and released you from your sins by His blood and made you a kingdom, priests unto Me. And priests intercede for the people. That was what the High Priest was doing year after year when he entered the Holy of Holies and sprinkled the blood upon the Mercy Seat (Propitiatory) for the people and the nation.
It is time your heart became like My heart and you got a heart for souls. It is wise to win souls. There is great joy in Heaven over even one repentant sinner, over one salvation, over just one snatched from the fire of hell. Think if you became an intercessor and released thousands from death to eternal life by your prayers. And you can in Spirit directed prayer.
For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:24-27.
Intercessory prayer is NOT pleading and begging and pressing Me to do something to save someone—whether it be to eternal life, healing, prosperity, deliverance, or a number of other arenas of life. No it is not that for you must know and understand it is MY DESIRE, it is My Will, that all be saved and come to know the truth. Prayer is the JOY of helping Me to do what I so long to do for you and others. Prayer is releasing My mercy to souls. It is extending My legal mercy as purchased by the blood of Jesus to souls and releasing grace to overwhelm all evil and draw souls to Me.
May my prayer be counted as incense before You; the lifting up of my hands as the evening offering. Psalm 141:2.
Intercessory prayer is a joy we have together of seeking out and saving the lost. You can save them by prayer, why else would Jesus be interceding for you? And you know He endured the cross, despising the shame, for the JOY that lay before Him. The joy of saving souls.
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2.
And what is He doing at My right hand? Having purified you from your sins by His blood, Hebrews 1:3, He is interceding for you. And you can take that blood in the Spirit and sprinkle it, as the High Priest did on the mercy seat, on the people to cleanse a people for Me in prayer. This is what I call spiritual sacrifice.
And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5.
You can bring joy in Heaven and on earth by prayer with me for souls, for cities, for nations. It is not pleading with Me to save but knowing you are authorizing and releasing the force of mercy upon a soul.
I will make you joyful in My house of prayer as we take authority over the nations, for I give you the nations for an inheritance. Birth them to Me.
You notice that I set up intercessors, such as Abraham and Moses, that know Me and are close to Me so that by their intercession and authorization of dominion authority I can extend mercy to souls.
So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.” John 20:21-23.
Do you understand what Jesus was telling you here? Many, in fact, most, do not. I am giving you the power in My Spirit to release people from sins and to retain the sins of people. Death and life are in the power of the tongue of believers who have the Spirit dwelling in them. And in union with Him you are interceding according to My Will. And you know My Will in this matter for I have clearly told you many times that it is My heart’s desire that all people be saved and come to know the truth, the truth that will set them free to be at ease no matter what storm is going on around them. I am waiting on you to save souls with Me by the blood of My Son as the priests of old did it was the blood of clean animals.
I am looking for those with hearts like My heart, a heart for saving souls.
Jesus wept at the tomb of Lazarus. Why? He was only asking for someone to roll back the stone so He could let Lazarus come forth. And that is what He is still seeking, intercessors who, by their prayers, will roll back the stone, so I can raise the dead. But that day, no one would roll back the stone, not even Martha who had just moments before agreed that He was the resurrection and the life.
I love you. Prayer makes you strong, unceasing prayer makes you unceasingly strong. Come with joy and we can set the captives free and make the blind to see and declare a year of jubilee!
