So I have come down to deliver them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey. Exodus 3:8.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Love delivers you out of the fowler’s snare—out of the traps of the enemy. Love delivers you from oppression and slavery. But love does not just deliver you to take you out of the burdensome place you are in but to lead you forth to something better—to your wealthy place. Psalm 66:12. From lack and oppression, a narrow place, I bring you out to abundance and freedom, a wide and spacious territory.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support. He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me. Psalm 18:17-19.

And how do and lead you out and lead you in? You go out with joy and are led forth by peace. Isaiah 55:12.

And He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with a joyful shout and singing. Psalm 105:43.

Whenever I would deliver My people from oppression, I would raise up a deliverer from among them. I worked with Moses, Joshua, Deborah, Gideon, Samuel, David, and I could go on and on. I always seek someone who is willing to partner with Me to release My power and My authority into the earth through their dominion authority. For I have the fee simple of the earth but mankind has the leasehold interest therein.

But I want you to note that when it came time to save you from your slavery to sin and death and to set you free from all your sins to the glorious freedom of My children in the promised land of Love that I came down in Christ Jesus to deliver you Myself. No one else would do. I took care of it Myself.

And He saw that there was no man, and was astonished that there was no one to intercede; then His own arm brought salvation to Him, and His righteousness upheld Him. He put on righteousness like a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on His head. Isaiah 59:16-17.

Many are the troubles of the just but I deliver them out of them all. Psalm 34:19.  I make all things work together for good for those who love Me and are called according to My purpose.  Romans 8:28. I never allow you to be tested beyond your strength.  I provide a way out. 1 Corinthians 10:13.

I am your Deliverer.

My servant David knew Me that way.  Do you?  You should.

I have saved you from eternal death by sending My beloved Son to offer Himself as a sacrifice to buy you out of the slavery to sin and death and to take all the just punishment due to sin upon Himself.  If I have delivered you out of eternal death and redeemed you from the curse of the law will I not deliver you from all things besides?  Of course I will. You can trust in Me.  I will never leave you or forsake you.  I will come back for you and take you to Myself that where I AM you will always be.

You can take shelter under My wings until harm pass by and I can lift you out of any pit.

My right arm is the arm of power and I will raise it up on your behalf.  Let Me fight your battles for you and let Me show you the path to the Promised Land so that you do not spend your life wandering in the desert—a barren and empty existence.  I did not make the earth to be a desert, but a garden to be lived in.  I can make your desert bloom.

Are you in some troubles or afflictions now that you need deliverance out of?  Well, I have good news for you.  My Son came to set the captives free.  And whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

Do you want to be free?  Do you want to be healed?  Do you want to be delivered?  If you do, that is good, for the first step is that you have to want to come out of the bondage you are in or I have difficulty delivering you.  You cannot be pitiful and powerful at the same time. You cannot play the victim looking for everyone’s pity and be more than a conqueror at the same time.

The Israelites cried out to Me to deliver them from slavery in Egypt, but when I did they kept looking back longingly and saying how much better life was for them in the slavery than as free and powerful people on their way to the Promised Land.  Even though they had hated slavery they had gotten into the rut of never making any decisions on their own or taking responsibility for their actions. They had become comfortable, though miserable, with captivity.  Do not imitate them. I created you to rule and reign with Me.  I created you to take dominion and subdue.  I created you to take responsibility and to be fruitful.

Never be content with just sitting around complaining about your situation.  If you want to be delivered then you need to take command with Me.

David understood this. My Holy Spirit revealed it to him as he spent time with Me.  He praised Me in difficulty, took courage from My covenant promises, declared Me his deliverer and looked to Me to show him the way out.  And as I did for him, I will do for you.

Look at the Psalms. When David was in trouble, he always did the same thing, he turned to Me.  But not in bitter complaining and accusations.  In the midst of trouble he wrote: “I will bless LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul will make its boast in the LORD; the lowly will hear Me and rejoice.  O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His Name together.”  Psalm 34:1-3.When you are in trouble and affliction do you bless Me, praise Me, boast in Me, and call your friends to come and exalt My Name with you?  Or do you call your friends to bemoan your terrible problems and solicit their pity?  Do you cry in fear and anger in your room?  Do you despair and lose hope?

No, encourage yourself in My Word, know that I am mighty to save and that I am your deliverer!  That I am the God of the Breakthrough!  That you only have to look to Me and I will provide the way out.  After all, I parted the Red Sea when it looked like there was no way out.  But I made a path through the sea.  I make the impossible possible.  I knock down walls.  Nothing is too hard for Me.  Look up at Me and smile, your face will never be ashamed.  I am always doing a new miracle for the present need.  No two miracles were really ever exactly alike.  Read the Bible and you will see this is so.  I can do something new for you.

Then look at what David counsels next in the midst of serious affliction, “I sought the LORD and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.  Look to Him that you may be radiant with joy and your faces will never be ashamed.  This poor man cried and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles.”  Psalm 34:4-6.  The next step is to call out to Me and take My Word to you seriously so that you can be delivered from all fear.  Even though you walk through the dark valley, do not fear, for I am with you, My rod and My staff will give you courage.  You have a healer, a provider, a deliverer, and a redeemer, if you know Me this way you will be delivered from all fear.  You will just call on Me with trusting love.  And I will answer you.

Then David tells you that “the angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him and rescues them.”  Yes, My angels are all about you and they hearken to My Word.  And they can fight your enemies and rout them out.  Remember Hezekiah?

And then David tells you to “taste and see that the LORD is good, how blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.”  Psalm 34:8.  Yes, draw close to Me and I will draw close to you.  And I am the God of all comfort, so let Me comfort you.  I reward those who seek Me.  Every good and perfect gift comes from Me.  I am love.  Open up to taste of My goodness, do not stay out in your darkness.  Let My Light in.

David tells you next that those who fear Me suffer no want and those who seek Me want for no good thing.  My Word, as revealed to David, is true and it is true for you.

But then David explains to you what it means to fear Me so that you will experience these promises.  It means that your ambition is to please Me no matter where you are or what you are doing.  2 Corinthians 5:9. And how do you know you are doing that?  David tells you by revelation from My Spirit that if you want a wonderful long satisfying life you must keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceit.  That you must turn away from evil and do good.  That you must seek peace and pursue it.  Then My eyes are open to you (I know those who love Me) and My ears are open to your cry.  Those who act without love (evildoers) I resist but the righteous I hear (those in Covenant with Me through Jesus) and deliver them out of all their troubles.  Psalm 34:12-19.

No one who takes refuge in Me will ever be condemned.  No one who comes to Me will I ever reject.  I redeem your life from the pit.

Follow the counsel of My Spirit as written in My Word by My servant David and you will know Me as he did—as your Shepherd, your healer, your refuge, and your deliverer.  I AM all those and more for every one of you.  You can praise your way out of any problem with Me.  Praise gets your eyes off your problem and on to Me, where they should be.  “Praised be the LORD,” exclaimed David, “and I am saved from my enemies.”  Paul and Silas knew this. Do you remember when they were whipped and chained in prison in Philippi?  At midnight, in the midst of their affliction, they were singing songs of praise to Me and I freed them from the chains and delivered them from prison to do a mighty work of salvation.  Acts 16:23-40.  What was a terrible trial became one of Paul’s greatest victories and fondest memories.

Many are the troubles of the just but I deliver them out of them all.  Remember Daniel in the lions’ den?  Daniel 6:22.  And how about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego in the fiery furnace?  Daniel 3:11-30.

Do you think your problem is too hard for Me?  I do not really suppose you are in the lions’ den with a bunch of hungry lions looking at you for the night.  But even if you are, just know that I have solved that problem before.  Nothing is too hard for Me.

I love you.  Know Me as your Deliverer. And remember I lead you out with joy (sasson) and singing happy songs (rinnah).  Psalm 105:43.  I surround you with songs of deliverance.  Psalm 32:7.
