In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. Ephesians 1:7-8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
No one else has your inheritance. No one else has your DNA, no one else has the iris of your eyes, no one else has your voice, and no one else has your fingerprints. Jesus is preparing a place for you and then He will come back and take you with Him, that where He is, you may also be. You are a joint heir with Him. You belong.
You qualify for your inheritance by being an heir, but you must claim your inheritance and receive it as your own. If you do not show up and receive it when notified of it, your inheritance will be deposited in unclaimed property for future heirs to discover and claim.
The law imposes rules on inheritance. A child who has been adopted into another family has no heirship rights in the estate of his or her biological parent. A minor cannot receive an inheritance outright, he or she must have a guardian and/or a conservator appointed. A murderer, even though an heir, cannot receive an inheritance from the one he murdered. A divorced spouse cannot inherit but is treated as if he or she predeceased the dead one.
Why am I telling you this? Inheritance whether in the natural or supernatural is not automatic in its application, it must be sought, claimed, and received. And you must know you have it or you will never show up to claim it. It will remained unclaimed and unloved.
If you only knew the full of your inheritance you would not only claim it, you would embrace it with love.
You have a very special inheritance that many people live unaware of and consequently live a life that is under a cloud of shame, guilt and regret, at least once they pass middle age. It is the complete forgiveness of your sins by the sacrificial substitutionary death of My Son on your behalf. Your sins are not just forgiven, they are gone, and this is forever.
“I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.” Isaiah 44:22.
The fullness of redemption is your inheritance. And this is the inherited gift that opens all the other doors. To even approach Me, your sins must be gone for I am holy and in Jesus I have removed all your sins as far as the east is from the west and have made you righteous and holy with My own righteousness and holiness.
How do you claim this aspect of your rich inheritance?
First, you are born again by taking Jesus as your Lord and believing in your heart that I raised Him from the dead. This qualifies you as an heir and a joint heir with Christ. All I have is yours and that includes total forgiveness of sins by the blood of Jesus.
Next, you repent of your sins and believe in the good news of total cleansing by My Word. And I tell you just how to repent and this is not just a one time application. It removes the guilt and regret every time you sin even after you are saved. For much more as My child, you have a right to walk in your beautiful inheritance.
If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9.
You take the forgiveness by coming to Me honestly with a humble heart and taking responsibility for the sins you have committed. Taking your inheritance does not mean you arrogantly boast that you can sin all you want and yet you have no sin before Me because of Jesus. Grace will never be a license to sin. It is an opportunity and an empowerment to live free of sin.
So you confess your sins to Me, that is your part, and then I do My part, I am faithful and just to forgive you your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. I apply the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus to your life and this transferred all sin from you to Him and He was punished to the fullest sense for every sin that has been or will be committed. You then receive that mercy at My throne of grace and you mention it no more for it is gone, you are not even to permit yourself to think about it and grieve over it and again rehearse how sorry you are before Me.. Instead of tears, I should see rejoicing.
If you continue to bring up that same sin and will not let it go, you are dishonoring Me in a huge way. You are telling Me the blood is not enough to satisfy justice and to wash your robes clean in the blood of the Lamb. But it is more than enough.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:6-7.
I made Jesus, who knew no sin, to be sin on your behalf, so that you would become righteous with My own righteousness in Him. I accounted your sins to Him and His righteousness to you. I showed you the shadow of which Jesus is the substance in the sacrifices that covered the people’s sins until Jesus came and paid the price due that was being given only by credit under the Old Covenant. The sinner would bring an unblemished lamb or other clean animal, and lay his hand on the head of the lamb. The sin of the sinner would then pass into the lamb and the purity of the unblemished lamb would pass to the sinner. The lamb would then be slain and offered on the bronze altar. If it was the burnt offering, it would be burnt until nothing was left but ashes, which would then be taken away outside the camp and disposed of. And thus the sinner would walk away covered with the blood and saved from the wrath of divine justice, he had obtained beauty for the ashes.
The blood of lambs and goats, however, was not eternal blood, so it was given on credit, awaiting the payment that was to come in Jesus, who then, by offering His eternal blood, totally paid your debt and cancelled all that will still owed on the credit given. Like using a credit card to purchase goods, eventually the price has to be paid. And Jesus more than paid for every sin ever committed or which will be committed. He died in time but He paid with eternal blood which reaches to all time past, present, and future, for it is an eternal redemption that will plead for you on the mercy seat forever. You are saved to the uttermost.
Once you have repented and confessed your sin to Me, it is like you laid your hand on the head of the lamb and the sin entered Him and the death then came to Him for your sins and the blood poured out on the altar of judgment and you are redeemed. You are given beauty for your ashes. You can go forward to walk with the redeemed as you enter Zion singing.
But the redeemed will walk there, and the ransomed of the LORD will return and come with joyful shouting and singing to Zion, with everlasting joy upon their heads. They will find gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Isaiah 35:10.
And what happens in Zion, My holy mountain for you even now? For this too is your inheritance.
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels in festive gathering, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel. Hebrews 12:22-24.
Your sins and offenses I remember no more. And My Holy Spirit testifies this to you as your inheritance. They are not just forgiven, they are gone, like the mist in the morning sun, borne by Him who knew no sin but became sin for you all.
Rejoice in so great a salvation. I have made you beautiful with Salvation. Your sins are gone. It is no longer your fault. It was your fault, but Jesus took all your faults and failings and gave you His perfection. You are free to be the YOU I made you to be.
I love you. Never forget that you have forgiveness of sins as a legal right in your inheritance. Claim it and keep it. Honor Me by entering My gates with thanksgiving that you are forgiven and not beating your breast in shame. The blood is more than enough.
