It is the blessing of the LORD that makes rich, And He adds no sorrow to it. Proverbs 10:22.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
You have an inheritance of Blessing. And not just any blessing but the Blessing. The Blessing of Abraham. And in Jesus I made sure you got it.
Let Me start at the beginning. When I created the first man and woman I blessed them. Genesis 5:2. I gave them the BLESSING. And after the flood, I gave it again to Noah. Genesis 9:1. And then I gave it to Abraham and his descendants. Genesis 12:1-3. And in Christ I gave it to all who believe in Him and confess Him as LORD. Galatians 3:13-14.
My Blessing makes rich and I add no painful labor with it. Proverbs 10:22. And the word used there in the original Hebrew is etseb, which is first used to describe the pain Eve would experience in the labor of childbirth after the fall.
But I did not want you to ever be without My Blessing. In seeing Jesus you see Me, and Jesus took the children into His arms and blessed them. And do you recall what Jesus did as He left His disciples to ascend into Heaven? He blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. Luke 24:51.
The Blessing of Abraham. Do you know what it is? It is threefold: The blessing of increase and prosperity; the blessing of the gift of righteousness by faith, and the blessing of fruitfulness.
If you are in Christ, I tell you that Jesus has redeemed you from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for you—for it is written “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”—in order that in Christ Jesus the Blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that you would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Genesis 3:13-14.
If Jesus was cursed in order that you would have the Blessing of Abraham and receive the promise of the Spirit, it is wise for you to find out what you have and make use of it. I do not want you to be unaware of what is yours in Christ Jesus. I went to extraordinary lengths to give it to you. I want you to have the fullness of the redemption Jesus bought and won for you. I want you to have life in abundance, until it overflows!
Well, you could say that Abraham truly lived the life that adds all you need in abundance to you without toil. And you can have it too. He lived under grace though he lived before Jesus died on the Cross. How was that? His faith was credited to him as righteousness. He saw Jesus’ day and was glad. I taught Abraham the gospel beforehand, saying “all the nations will be blessed in you.” Galatians 3:8. And so you are.
I call him your father in the faith. For it is by faith you are saved. I save you by grace through faith. It is not of yourselves, but My gift to you. Ephesians 2:8. It is not a result of your works but the works of Christ. Ephesians 2:9. He finished the work that I gave Him to do. John 17:4. Yes, after Jesus made purification of sins, He sat down at My right hand exalted in glory. Hebrews 1:3. It is finished. John 19:30.
He died once for all, making Jew and Gentile one before Me. All who are in Jesus are in Covenant with Me and all who belong to Jesus are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the PROMISE. Galatians 3:29.
This is BIG, so it would be good if you get revelation on this. Let Me open it to you.
Let us go back to the Blessing of Abraham. It was so wonderful that Jacob cheated his brother Esau in order to obtain it and now it is available to all—for it comes to you through the real First-Born Son and you are joint heirs with Him when you belong to Him. So it is the Blessing of the firstborn, the double portion of everything.
I told Abraham, “I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so shall you be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” Genesis 12:2-3.
And I made Abraham very rich in livestock, silver and gold. Genesis 13:2. So wealthy that Lot and he could no longer stay together because they had so many cattle and possessions. When Lot left Abraham though, his great prosperity did not continue. He lost it all.
Abraham had a life filled with the Blessing. He was My friend to whom I revealed great truths and My hidden plans and he was blessed materially and physically in all areas of his life. He had trials but he lived a long life in which he was fully satisfied. Genesis 25:8. And his descendants in number are as the stars of the sky (all who are in Christ and are spiritual descendants) and the sands of the sea (the Hebrew people who are physical descendants of his line). And by his descendant named JESUS he has blessed every person on earth. And I have made his name famous. Even in his day. The king of Sodom even sought him to recover his people and riches from the kings who had attacked his city and carried off the people and the spoils. And Abraham did.
Abraham called Me the LORD who looks ahead and provides. Genesis 22:14. I was His shield and great reward. Genesis 15:1. He knew Me as El Shaddai, God Almighty. Genesis 17:1. The one who supplied all His needs and desires and solved all his problems and delivered him out of all his troubles. I gave him the son he so desired, even in his old age. I renewed his youth like the eagle’s.
And the Blessing of Abraham is yours in Christ Jesus as the first born.
And you receive not only the Blessing of Abraham but also My Holy Spirit when you are in Christ. So you are better off than Abraham. And you receive them by FAITH. It all depends on faith, everything is grace.
And with the Holy Spirit comes the gifts of the Spirit, of which you must not be unaware, the fruit of the Spirit, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, your Wonderful Counselor. For all who are My children are led by My Spirit. Romans 8:14.
Jesus told you that as His followers you only need to do one thing: be led. “My sheep hear My voice, they know Me and they follow Me.” A Shepherd leads His sheep to green pastures and restful pure waters. And He leads you by the guide to all truth who teaches you all things—the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete, who is in you and with you always once you are born again, the One whom Jesus calls “the Promise of the Father” that He poured out upon you when He ascended to My right hand when He had finished the work I gave Him to do. Acts 1:4; Acts 2:32-33.
If you are led by the Holy Spirit you walk in the Spirit and you are no longer under the Law. You do not need the Law if you are led by the Spirit. For the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things. If you live by the Spirit, you will also walk by the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-25.
My Son told you to seek first My Kingdom and My righteousness and all you need and more will be added to you. And what is My righteousness? It is the righteousness of Jesus that is imputed to you when you are in Christ. For I made Him who knew no sin to be sin so that in Him you could become righteous with My own righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
And when He was born into the world according to the flesh in Bethlehem, the angel said to the shepherds in the surrounding fields that night He was born, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and good to men, with whom He is pleased.” Luke 2:10-14. The good news is that in Jesus I am well pleased in YOU. I can shower you with the Blessing I so long to give to you because there is no hindrance now that Jesus has removed your sins. In Him, I have put your sins away from you as far as the east is from the west so that you can be freely blessed. And that is why My servant Paul, by inspiration of the Spirit, wrote to you, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him.” Ephesians 1:3-4.
Take a lesson from the way the lilies of the field grow, they do NOT TOIL nor do they spin but not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these. And the same goes with how I feed the birds without any toil on their part. Will I not provide much more for you? Matthew 6:25-34.
Abraham lived this. I tell you in the Book of Hebrews that by faith Abraham lived as an alien in the land of promise for he was looking for the city which has foundations of which I am the architect and builder. Hebrews 11:9-10.
And how did this all come to Abraham? Because He believed Me (in Hebrew he “amened” all I promised him) and I credited it to him as righteousness. And I bless the righteous man; My favor surrounds him like a shield. Psalm 5:12.
You do not earn righteousness. Abraham did not. He lied about his wife Sarah and he had a few detours from My Word, but he had faith in Me and was finally fully persuaded that all I promised him I would perform. So much so that he was prepared to even sacrifice the son he loved when I taught him the gospel about My Son in a living sermon on Mt. Moriah across from Calvary. And that faith ultimately led him into the life of good deeds I had prepared for him in advance. He walked with Me in My Way and that made him blameless.
And it does you too. When you walk in My Way, which is Jesus, that makes you holy and blameless in My sight. For if you follow Jesus you will never walk in darkness but will have the Light of life. He is the light of the world, and if you walk in the LIGHT you have fellowship with one another and the blood of My Son cleanses you from all sin. 1 John 1:7.
You receive Jesus as Lord by faith. You receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness by faith. And you receive the Blessing of Abraham and the promise of the Spirit by faith.
And faith is believing in the love I have for you as shown in Christ Jesus, who became man to die for your sins and reconcile you with Me. Faith is believing that all My promises are “yes” to you in Him. Faith is knowing Him in whom you have believed. And knowing Me and My Son in an intimate way like Abraham did is eternal life.
Join Abraham and seek My Kingdom and way of Righteousness first and all will be added to you. My Blessing is yours in Christ. You are highly favored and deeply loved. Jesus is your shield and your great reward. For all I have is His and all He has is yours. So in Him, everything is yours. You are heirs of Heaven and earth.
I give you a summary of the Blessing in Deuteronomy 28. I gave it to My servant Moses. I also gave him the definition of the curse, but Jesus has redeemed you from the curse. In Jesus I turned the curse into a blessing for you. So here is the definition of the Blessing as spoken by Moses:
“Now it shall be, if you diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you listen to the voice of the LORD your God: Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the country. Blessed shall be the offspring of your body and the produce of your ground and the offspring of your beasts, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in and blessed shall you be when you go out. The LORD shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways. The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you. The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways. So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will be afraid of you. The LORD will make you abound in prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your beast and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you. The LORD will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. The LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I charge you today, to observe them carefully, and do not turn aside from any of the words which I command you today, to the right or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.” Deuteronomy 28:1-14.
And these are all yours. My Blessing is on the head of the righteous, and you are righteous in Jesus. He is also your head as the Body of Christ. Your great High Priest, and His anointing is on you. Blessing forever. “It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard, coming down upon the edge of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing—life forever.” Psalm 133:2-3.
I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from all destruction. I send My Word to bless you. And Jesus is My Word among you. And what did He do? Blessed you beyond all you can ask or imagine. To you, He opened the windows, gates and doors of Heaven and poured out the Blessing, all the benefits of Psalm 103.
Jesus kept all My commandments and you who believe are in Him. He has won the Blessing for you. In the New Covenant He is your representative before Me and you enter into the New Covenant by being in Him as His Body. And He told you to keep His commandment. And what is His commandment? Love one another as He has loved you. Love does not harm the neighbor. Love is who I am and love is who you are. Be your true self and walk in love. Imitate Me as My dear children. Love brings the Blessing. My Love and your love.
Do you love My Son? Then you will keep His Words, which are My Words, and you will be Blessed beyond all you can ask or imagine. But remember, you must give to receive. You are blessed to be a blessing.
I bless you. Do you bless Me? Like David, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all my being bless His Holy Name.” Psalm 103:1. And forget not all My benefits. Begin to declare yourself “blessed beyond measure.” And watch it come to pass. Practice saying, as you depart your home, “I am blessed as I go out and as I come in. I am blessed, I am loved, and I am free to be a blessing.”
I love you. Do you believe that? If you do, you will see great things manifest in your life for I can come to dwell in your heart by My Holy Spirit. Be led. Abraham was. He left his home and followed Me even when he did not know where I was leading him. That is faith in My goodness and provision. Perfect love casts out all fear. Know that you are My beloved.
Papa taking care and it will always be a BLESSING.
