Pilate then took Jesus and had Him scourged. John 19:1.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

When My Son instituted the perpetual and eternal memorial of the Passover in His own body and blood, you will notice that He did not just select a few to partake in it or just have everyone look at it and then put it away to preserve as a relic. No. Each one individually had to partake. No matter how many attend, all partake individually. And there will be enough for all. If you recall just before the teaching My Son gave on eating His body and drinking His blood, He had multiplied five loaves and two fish for a crowd of well over 5,000 and every person ate until satisfied. No one went unfed.

Communion is in union with the entire body of believers of which you are a unique member, but it is primarily an individual experience. I do not see crowds in the sense of an overview as you do, I see individuals. I see every thought and every desire of every person for I have a planned and created every one of you. I do not just see outward appearance, though I regard that as well for that has to do with honor, modesty, and respect for Me and the purity of others. In fact, I tell you to worship Me in holy attire. Jehoshaphat knew that was important to bring in the glory, and he made sure those who led the victory march to face the enemy in praise of My goodness, love, and mercy were clothed in holy attire. It has to do with the manifestation of the glory. I am enthroned on your praises, and I come in majesty and glory. After they sinned and gave their lives to evil, the glory left Adam and Eve, for glory permits no evil or sin to enter it, and they hid from My glory naked and exposed. I covered them with the skins of an unblemished lamb and blood was shed to preserve them from immediate judgment to return to the dust.

It is important to Me that every one of you partake of the body and blood of My Son. This is His body given for YOU, do this in remembrance of Him. And this is His blood of the New and everlasting Covenant poured out for YOU, cleansing you of all sin and the stain thereof, do this in remembrance of Him. No one else will do, only you. I want you at the marriage feast of the Lamb, I do not want the place prepared for you to be vacant.

Please understand this, you never need to look at another as more valuable to Me or better than you. No one else is a substitute to Me for your fellowship and communion with Me. Jealousy and envy should have no place in you. Appreciate the gifts and assigments of each member of the body but know that you are chosen, planned, and created unique. I loved you from everlasting to everlasting. No one else is like you—and I do not mean just in your spirit and soul, even your physical body mirrors this. Your DNA, your fingerprints, your voice, your iris are unique and one of a kind. Your spirit, soul, and body are like no one else from the beginning to the end of time. You are fearfully, wonderfully made and My plans for you are like My plans for no one else. So do not try to be anyone but yourself, that is, the YOU I made you to be. No one else can replace you. No one else has your voice before Me. Remember even though Jacob clothed himself like Esau, his voice still was Jacob’s and his father knew it, but he gave him the Blessing anyway. And that is the case when you clothe yourself in Christ, I bless you with every spiritual blessing in Heaven, for you have come sinless in Christ, but I know your voice. I know you.

“O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret place of the steep ascending pathway, let Me see your face, let Me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.” Song of Songs 2:14.

No one else can worship Me for you. No one else’s heart relates to Me in the same way yours does. And I do not relate in exactly the same way to anyone else the way I do with you. I willed and wanted you to be you and not another. You are precious and honored in My sight. Never see yourself any other way.

Since you are precious in My sight, you are honored and I love you, I gave My Son in your place and My Son’s death in exchange for your life. Isaiah 43:5.

And this is what the Eucharist is all about. YOU. Do this in remembrance of what He did for YOU. For He would have done it if you had been the only person on earth. His body and blood are for YOU. And that is why it is a perpetual memorial that all of you must eat to have eternal life in you.

“This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 1 Corinthians 11:24.

If you truly understand these things, you will be very happy with who you are for you are the precious one I made you to be. Now, however, it is time to walk with Me in love and get busy about Kingdom affairs, for there is also a reward planned for you, but it is conditional on your finishing the work I gave you to do. You will be with Me always once you have taken Jesus as your Lord in truth, but I would also like to give you an overflowing reward—good measure, shaken down, overflowing will I pour into the fold in your apron of service for the measure with which you measure will be measured back to you.

Where we left off yesterday in our Eucharistic journey was when Pilate ordered Jesus to be scourged.

“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem; and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and scourge and crucify Him, and on the third day He will be raised up.” Matthew 20:18-19.

The disciples of Jesus should not have been surprised at the events taking place, He had warned them ahead of time, but in the heat of the events they forgot. The same is true with many of you today. My prophets, My Son, and His disciples have told you of what will take place in these last days and many people are questioning Me and doubting Me because of recent events. Read the book of Revelation, read the Gospels, read Daniel, read Joel, read Isaiah, and so many more passages in Scripture, and you will know the signs of the times. And what are you to do? Run and hide in fear and disappointment, the way all the disciples but John did? No. Jesus told you what to do:

But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because

Jesus underwent a terrible beating. The scouring ripped his flesh and exposed some of His bones. The was not a light beating, it was a severe one, bringing Him to close to death. All the cruelty of the guards, being spurred on by the fury of Satan, came down upon Him. But remember He was bearing your sins, illnesses, and pains in His own flesh.

Stripes (chabburah (חַבּוּרָה): a stripe, blow) that wound scour away evil, and blows cleanse the inmost parts. Proverbs 20:30.

He gave His back to those who beat Him and His cheeks to those who plucked His beard and He opened not His mouth. No blame, no offense, just love for you, He had set His face like flint and He was not backing down no matter what the pain or shame, He had a work to do for Me and for you.

I gave My back to those who strike Me, and My cheeks to those who pluck out the beard; I did not cover My face from humiliation and spitting. For the Lord God helps Me, therefore, I am not disgraced; therefore, I have set My face like flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed. Isaiah 50:6-8.

I speak the end from the beginning. It had all been planned from everlasting. His goings forth are from everlasting, from eternity. Micah 5:2. He shall be your peace. Micah 5:6.

And a wondrous thing took place in the spirit realm, born from His love and the scourge. I want you to understand what a scourge is.

The verb  “to scourge” in the Greek language in which the New Testament was written is “mastigoó (μαστιγόω),” which means to scourge, that is, to whip (scourge) with a mastigos (mástiks, a “whip”); to “flog (scourge) a victim, strapped to a pole or frame.” The noun is “mastix (μάστιξ),” which is a scourge or lash of leathern thongs with pieces of metal sewn up in them. Mastix and mastigoo also are used to describe disease that carries a torturous level of pain “a scourge/plague.” When it refers to a disease (Mk 3:10, 5:29,34; Lk 7:21), it emphasizes the oppressive pain (suffering) of this acute disorder – acting like a scourge (“plague”) which is highly painful and debilitating. severe pains (sufferings) and disease. It is usually translated that Jesus cured people of various “afflictions.”

Do you recall when the woman with the issue of blood who came and touched the tassel on the ends of My Son’s garment what happened? She was healed. And what did Jesus say? “Daughter, your faith has saved (sózó (σῴζω), healed, preserved) you; go in peace and be healed (hugiés (ὑγιής), sound, healthy, pure, whole) of your affliction (mastigoo).” Mark 5:34.

Why could she be healed of her scourge of illness that the evil one had bound her with? Because Jesus would be scourged in her place. He would bear His back to the bloody scourging (mastigoo) and take every illness and disease in those stripes of the whip on Himself.

And that is why He was scourged so severely, so you would never have to bear the scourge of illness and pain again.

Surely our sickness (choli (חֱלִי): sickness) He Himself bore (nasa (נָשָׂא): to lift, carry, take), and our pains (makob (מַכָאֹב): pain) He carried (sabal (סָבַל): to bear (a heavy load)); yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging (chabburah (חַבּוּרָה): a stripe, blow) we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5.

When Satan tries to bring the unclean spirits of sickness, pain, and infirmity upon you, for they are still roaming in the earth during the term of Adam’s lease, you can rebuke those off you for you are a citizen of Heaven redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and healed by His stripes.

Do you remember what happened when they went to scourge Paul without finding him guilty first? He rebuked it by his citizenship. In the Spirit realm you must do likewise. You have been acquitted by the blood of the Lamb, there is no way you should permit Satan to put the scourge on you.

As they were shouting and throwing off their cloaks and flinging dust into the air, the commander ordered that Paul be taken into the barracks. He directed that he be flogged and interrogated in order to find out why the people were shouting at him like this. As they stretched him out to flog him, Paul said to the centurion standing there, “Is it legal for you to flog a Roman citizen who hasn’t even been found guilty?” When the centurion heard this, he went to the commander and reported it. “What  are you going to do?” he asked. “This man is a Roman citizen.” The commander went to Paul and asked, “Tell me, are you a Roman citizen?”“Yes, I am,” he answered. Then the commander said, “I had to pay a lot of money for my citizenship.” “But I was born a citizen,” Paul replied. Those who were about to interrogate him withdrew immediately. The commander himself was alarmed when he realized that he had put Paul, a Roman citizen, in chains. Acts 22:23-29.

In Jesus, you have been born again from on High. Your citizenship is in Heaven. By His stripes you have been, are, and will be healed. Stand on that.

You had all gone astray like lost sheep, but I caused the iniquity of you all to fall on Him. Isaiah 53:6.

He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds (mólóps (μώλωψ): a bruise, stripe, left on the body by scourging) you were healed. For you were continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls. 1 Peter 2:24-25.

In all the Gospels it is just one line: Pilate then had Jesus scourged. But that one line changed everything for you with respect to sickness and pain, and thus allowed Me to fulfill My Covenant Name, “I am the LORD your healer.” My Will prospered in His hands. Isaiah 53:10.

I sent Jesus to undo (untie, destroy, unbind) the works of the devil, 1 John 3:8, and this is how He did it. By His scourging He freed and released you from your illnesses, pains, and shame. He unbound you and let you go free. Just like He did at the tomb of Lazarus. Just like He did with the woman bent over for eighteen years by an unclean spirit of infirmity. He loosed her and let her go free. He paid for it in His own body so you can be free.

You are free from the curse of the law, free from the law of sin and death. By His stripes you are healed and by the blood of the Cross you are at peace with Me. Never doubt that. If the devil ever tries to make you doubt My love, just remember Jesus tied to the pole being beaten to shreds so you would never have to be sick or in pain again. Take possession of so great a salvation—sing it, declare it, and fight the good fight of faith to hold your ground. It is already yours. You are not trying to get healed, you are healed. Never forget that and stand your ground with joy! Sing out  your healing with shouts of joy and you will find it is yours forever.

And another thought, all of you deserved to be flogged for sinning, but He took the flogging for all of you. He has set you free. The root of illness is sin. But Jesus took care of that in every step from the Last Supper to the tomb. But it did not end there. You have been justified.

And that slave who knew his master’s will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes, but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a scourging, will receive but few. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more. Luke 12:47-48.

I love you. When you take the bread and the wine, never forget how your healing was paid for and be thankful that you were, are, and will always be healed. Honor that with your agreement. Honor that by not permitting those unclean spirits to remain in you. You must be diligent, not sluggish, to inherit the promises.
