“I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD (Yahweh): He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, TODAY I have begotten You!” Psalm 2:7.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
In our journey of remembrance as you partake of the body and blood of My Son, we have arrived at the resurrection. What does it mean to you that I raised Jesus, My Son and your Messiah, from the dead? Many beautiful things. But first of all it means you are justified and glorified in Him, and your life never ends. But there is so much more and I will come to that, but first let us establish some basics.
I tell you to be made righteous and saved you must believe in your heart that I raised Jesus from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. Why? The fact that I raised Him means your sentence is paid in full and once satisfied, you are released. Jesus has released you from your sins by His blood. Revelation 1:5-6.
When a prisoner is released, justice is satisfied, and he is done with imprisonment. You have been justified. The fine is paid, and the sentence is finished. Jesus is “He who was delivered over because of your transgressions and was raised because of your justification. Romans 4:25.
What happened in the time between His death on the Cross and My raising Him up from the dead as Man, as the first born again Man?
Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. Hebrews 2:14-15.
He rendered the devil powerless. He took back the keys to death and the nether world.
Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I became dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. Revelation 1:17-18.
He cancelled the debt you owned divine justice and thus silenced the avenger and accuser of the brethren, Satan (the prosecutor, the accuser), and totally disarmed, divested, and triumphed over the devil, his demons, and eternal death. The devil could not hold Him in the nether world, the debt to Me had more than been paid, paid for every person from the beginning to the end of time who would receive it. You were perishable but in Him you become imperishable.
When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through it. Colossians 2:13-15.
He disarmed Satan and brought him to nought. He took back the seat of the Son of Man in Heaven and made a public display of them.
“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10.
And the victory He won is for you. It was your sins, ills, pains, poverty, shame, and blame He bore and took the punishment for in your place. And now He leads you in His triumphal train.
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14.
And when My justice was fully satisfied with respect to fallen man, I raised you up in My Son from the dead. And I left you a narrative of the resurrection through the inspiration of My Spirit and I wrote it as a song, Psalm 2.
So journey through Psalm 2 with Me and My Son.
Why are the nations in an uproar and the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against the LORD (Yahweh) and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us tear their fetters apart and cast away their cords from us!” Psalm 2:1-3.
The early community of believers already gave you a commentary by the Spirit on this passage when they quoted it in their prayer to Me after Peter and John were persecuted for healing the man lame from birth in the Name of Jesus and preaching in His Name, showing it referred to the trial and crucifixion of My Son.
For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy Son Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the nations (Gentiles) and the peoples of Israel, to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose predestined to occur. Acts 4:27-28.
What I did in Jesus, from the outward view of His crucifixion and death is not discerned by worldly wisdom, but by a wisdom that is in the spiritually mature in Christ, the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. While being defeated, they thought the power of darkness was winning. It was their hour, but only for that hour. But I had the final Word over darkness and it was light and it was He I anointed as King over all. And I laughed at the ones who thought they could take the throne above the stars of the Son of Man. And My Son did too.
He (Yahweh) who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord (אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י)(Adonai, Jesus) scoffs at them. Then He (Yahweh) will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury, saying, “But as for Me, I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain.” Psalm 2:4-6.
And now Jesus speaks from the depths of the earth where He has gone to the dust of death and tasted death for you all, “I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD (Yahweh): He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, TODAY I have begotten You!” Psalm 2:7.
And right then, everything changed. I spoke those Words and they resounded through the nether world, the realm of darkness, the realm of the dead, and the Spirit He had breathed forth and entrusted into My hands returned and filled Him to the overflow as His human spirit as Man was born again to be joined with and filled with the Holy Spirit, which is His Spirit as God, and He became the firstborn of many brethren as Man and the King of kings and Lord of lords as God. I glorified Him with the glory He had before the foundation of the world. The Lamb slain since before the foundation of the world.
However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:9-11.
You and I are reconciled in the One God Man, uniting Divinity and humanity in One seamless life of perfection, making us together as One. The power is with Me, but in Him I have put it into you. Resurrection power. He is the resurrection and the life.
And that resurrection power is now in you, open your hearts and let Me give you a glimpse of what you have in the surpassing greatness of this power that resides in you by My Spirit and Christ in you, your hope of glory. This power is in accordance with the working of the strength of My might which I brought about in Christ, when I raised Him from the dead, from the very bowels of the earth, and seated Him at My right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And I put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 2:18-21. It has pleased Me to make all fullness reside in Him. Colossians 1:19.
Eternal life is in Him, but He has joined His life now with you, by embracing your humanity into His divinity, in a bond that cannot be broken for you who receive Him and partake of His body and His blood are of His body and He is of yours. And He has given you the power, with Him, to be My children, and as such My heirs, joint heirs with Him.
‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.’” Psalm 2:8-9.
Jesus then turns and promises the same to you who overcome. Everything He has is yours. And I have given Him everything.
He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations; and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to pieces, as I also have received authority from My Father; and I will give him the morning star. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’ Revelation 2:26-29.
And My prophet Daniel saw the same.
Then the sovereignty, the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him. Daniel 7:27.
And Psalm 2 ends with a warning and a blessing.
Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; take warning, O judges of the earth. Serve the (את) LORD with reverence and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him! Psalm 2:10-12.
In My Son, lovingkindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth springs from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. Psalm 85:10-11. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him! I redeem the souls of My servants, and none of those who take refuge in Jesus will be condemned. Psalm 34:22.
Resurrection means that you are released and justified, your sentence is paid in full, there is no fear in you of death, for life is changed, not ended, and in Jesus you rise, in fact, in your born again spirit you already have. You will never perish but have eternal life.
For I so loved the world—you have My love and approval—that I gave—you have a free gift from Me of My only begotten Son, who is now the firstborn of many brethren, His body, the Church—that ALL who BELIEVE—your part is faith in His work on your behalf—in Him shall never perish—you are now born again of imperishable seed and you become an imperishable seed planted in death unto a harvest of eternal life—but shall have eternal life. The grave is not the end but only the beginning of something beyond all you can ask or imagine, for it has not so much as entered the mind of man what I have prepared for you who love Me. It is glorious beyond all your earthly mind can hold or your earthly body embrace.
And that is why flesh and blood cannot inherit My Kingdom but must be changed. In the mortal condition he was in, Moses could not see My face, My glory, in full view, or he would burst aside the bounds of mortal flesh and step over, as Enoch did, to My eternal glory. And that is why you must die to live.
And Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” John 12:23-24.
Your life here is a seed that falls into the earth and dies and produces a harvest of eternal life in the heavenly Kingdom. But this is for tomorrow’s Life Lesson on how the dead are raised!
But someone will say, “How are the dead raised? And with what kind of body do they come?” You fool! That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies; and that which you sow, you do not sow the body which is to be, but a bare grain, perhaps of wheat or of something else. But God gives it a body just as He wished, and to each of the seeds a body of its own. 1 Corinthians 15:35-38.
I love you. Do you even begin to understand of whom you are partaking in My Son’s body and blood? He is the resurrection and the life.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25.
