Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
When you partake of the body and blood of My Son and do so in remembrance of Him, you begin a walk in the Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, that guides you to all truth and leads you on the path of light, the path that leads to life, eternal life. Resurrection life is where the body and blood of My Son take you and the life they put in you. It is the impartation of My life in you, and that life is true.
When I raised Jesus from the dead, He presented Himself alive after His suffering by many convincing proofs, appearing to the apostles over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the Kingdom. Acts 1:1-3. And gathering them together He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem until they received what I had promised.
What had I promised? The gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus baptizes you with the Holy Spirit. My Spirit is not only in those who believe, but on those who believe, clothing you with power from on High. My Spirit baptizes you into Jesus and then Jesus baptizes you with the Spirit. And the degree you walk in the Spirit depends on how much you yield to the Spirit. And this depends on one thing alone: how much of My Word is in you and how much you are in My Word. Abide in My Word and let My Word abide in you. Then you will not be deceived.
He is the Spirit of Truth. He guides you to all truth. And one of the grace endowments He bestows for the benefit of all is discernment of spirits.
“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:15-20.
Jesus warned you that many false prophets and false Messiahs would rise up and deceive many but if you are full of and listen to My Spirit, you won’t be deceived.
Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him. For false Messiahs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told you in advance. Matthew 24:23-25.
Today there are many deceivers. People call what they perpetrate “scams,” “identity theft,” “hacking,” “cults,” “occult,” and “security breaches.” They are looking to deceive you to steal from you and take your blessings. They want to entice you by greed and lust and thus fleece you while you trust that they are out to enrich you.
And there are also false Messiahs and false prophets who preach a universal force called the universe or some such name that by cosmic powers and quantum physics you harness and control by your own power. They look for peace and oneness through no god but all man, the powers of man’s mind to do whatever he desires. And they preach this is love, cutting Me out so, according to their philosophies, there are no arguments or divisions. But the opposite is true. This was the same temptation the devil presented to Adam. And he still uses it. But it brings no peace within you. Only in Me can you find true peace.
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; avoid such men as these. 2 Timothy 3:1-5.
How do you know where to turn and who to trust? Only one way, not by human intellect, power or might, but by My Spirit in you and on you. He guides you to all truth, and there is only one way absolute truth. My Word.
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we have to render an account. Hebrews 4:12-13.
My Word is the light to your path and the lamp for your feet that will walk you through to the truth every time.
I have given them Your Word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; Your Word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. John 17:14-19.
My Word sanctifies and separate you from the evil one, who is a master of deception. But He is no match to My Word. My Word tramples his lies under your feet every time.
For the report of your obedience has reached to all; therefore I am rejoicing over you, but I want you to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. Romans 19:16-20.
The revelation of My Word gives light and gives understanding to the simple, to the naïve. My Word gives you wisdom and makes you wiser than your worldly teachers and advisers.
Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever mine. I have more insight than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the aged, because I have observed Your precepts. Psalm 119:98-100.
Many are the troubles of the righteous, but I deliver them out of them all. And I deliver you by My Word.
Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men! Psalm 107:19-21.
I will not let your foot be caught in the net of falsehood if you are walking according to My Word.
My eyes are continually toward the LORD, for He will pluck my feet out of the net. Psalm 25:15.
The inner witness, the faithful and the true, the Word that revives your drooping spirit.
“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says this . . .” Revelation 3:14.
How do you know what is true? You hear from Me. And how do you hear? By My Word. It is like this, you are not sure about something, and you inquire of Me and suddenly My Word drops down into your spirit and the light comes in and you just know the answer. “I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.” My Word has enlightened your spirit, and you know the answer.
This is my comfort in my affliction, That Your word has revived me. Psalm 119:50.
And the truth will set you free. No more confusion, no more fear, you just know. And this is resurrection light.
We have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. 2 Peter 1:19-21.
After I raised Jesus from the dead, He came to be with His own. And that is still the case. Those who love Me and walk with Me in the truth of My Word. Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for My promise of the Holy Spirit. And He told them again, as He had during His ministry among them, that John baptized with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.
But the apostles had questions about the reign of the Messiah from David’s throne in Jerusalem, which is yet to come, so they were asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?” But they were jumping ahead of the age of grace when all are called to join the church, His body made up of all believers in His resurrection and His Name. When all are called to the Kingdom. He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Acts 1:7-8.
First comes the ingathering and then tabernacles. But with the anointing, with the power to witness and for the wonders that follow and confirm My Word, comes the authority of the believer over the world, the flesh and the devil—over the lies and deceptions of the evil one so readily adopted by the worldly minded being fed by the input from their flesh over the spirit. And in the anointing lies the power, the freedom, and the beauty of those who are called “children of God.” For I anoint you with the oil of joy. And My joy is your strength and song, which have become your Salvation. Isaiah 12:2.
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20.
The promise of His power and His presence by the Spirit in you and on you to go forth and make disciples for Jesus of all the nations. And He gave you the authority to baptize as well.
It happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus, and found some disciples. He said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said to him, “No, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” And they said, “Into John’s baptism.” Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying. Acts 19:1-6.
And after He had shared His resurrection life with them for forty days in teaching grace and the new covenant to His chosen leaders, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. Luke 24:50-51.
And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going up from Mt. Olivet, behold, two men in white clothing filled with light that emanated from within them stood beside them. Then these amazing heavenly beings, My host, said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:9-11.
Jesus will return at the appointed time and His feet will rest upon Mt. Olivet just as He went up so shall He come to take up David’s throne and reign for a thousand years, and then the end shall come to the world as it is now and I will make all things new for you. No more curse. No more evil. And no more death.
In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south . . . Then the LORD, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him! Zechariah 14:3-5.
You are My witnesses, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people set apart to proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are My people; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. All because of the body and blood of Jesus. He is the Light of the world and the way, the truth, and the life. Never leave the path of remembrance and you will always know the truth that sets you free from deception.
I love you. Be busy about the works of the ministry to which I have called you—a witness bringing My own marvelous Light in to dispel the darkness of deception. Shine, you are offering the world the Word of life. And know that I am with you always to give you the Light, for no follower of Mine will ever walk in darkness, no never, for he will have the Light of life.
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-30.
