But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10-11.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
People who know and believe in the love I have for them, like John, Mary, Daniel, Samuel, and David, see things others don’t and know things others don’t. Why is that? Because those who know and believe in the love I have for them return love to Me by keeping My Word. That is how I know you love Me, when you obey My Word with joy and faithfulness.
When Mary heard My greeting to her as highly favored and full of grace, what was her response? She wanted to do My Word. The same was true of Daniel, he would rather go in a lions’ den than disobey My Word. He knew My love for him in the favor I showered upon him in his exile. And David experienced My love, protection, and forgiveness, and he sang of his love for My Word and the reward he had in keeping it. Samuel was always seeking to hear what I was saying and to do it. And the same was true of John, who called himself the disciple that Jesus loved. He was the only disciple who only needed to see the empty tomb to believe that Jesus had risen. I disclose Myself to those who love Me and Jesus and I make our abode with them. They receive revelation and share My secrets. My love transforms you.
If you read the lives of the prophets, you will find they all had a close and loving relationship with Me. They talked with Me and heard from Me. I would share great and mighty things with them that others did not know or understand. My prophets were interested in knowing them, others were not. Jeremiah said when My Words were found he devoured them and they became the joy of his heart (his father Hilkiah, the high priest, found the scrolls hidden away in the temple because no one had read My Word in years).
And My prophets did not just talk with Me and keep it secret. No, wherever I sent them and whatever I told them to say they did with boldness. They were not intimidated by kings or anyone else for that matter because they knew My love and My care. I could trust them to release My Word into the earth so it could come to pass. I watch over My Word to perform it if you will just release it from your own mouth.
Isaiah and Micah loved and trusted Me, so they released My Word into the earth with faith as they prophesied of the promised child that was destined to be your SHALOM peace, reconciling God and man, making you whole and right with Me. And that Word became flesh and was born at the appointed time in Bethlehem. And My heavenly host could not contain their joy, for there is great joy in the presence of the angels of God over even one sinner who repents, and here the opportunity was coming to every person born upon the earth from the beginning to the end of time. My glory appeared as the heavens opened over the fields of Bethlehem as the ladder with the angels ascending and descending upon the earth landed at the manger in Bethlehem.
And Jesus said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” John 1:51.
And as the multitude of the heavenly host sounded forth the praise of the glory of My Son, the Lamb foreknown and slain since the foundation of the world, the chief stone, the rock foundation on which the world was built had been birthed in Bethlehem. The corner stone, the chief stone, the precious and choice stone—tidings of great joy for all peoples. The rock on which My church was built. And thus the Word I had spoken to Job out of the whirlwind was fulfilled.
“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding, who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the line on it? On what were its bases sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” Job 38:4-7.
If you have not noticed, in the Book of Revelation, I refer to My angels as stars, bright luminaries, messengers of appointed times and seasons.
Fittingly, this glorious vision was given to shepherds guarding their flocks in the fields near Bethlehem. Luke 2:8. Remember, I had promised you by My prophet Ezekiel that I Myself would shepherd My sheep and that I would send one of David’s line to do so. Ezekiel 34:15-16, 23.
My angel appeared to the shepherds, and My glory shone around them, and they were terrified. But My angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Messiah the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:9-12.
This message is short and simple, the way I usually convey My thoughts to you, but it is richly profound in meaning. Please pay attention to what My angel said. The child born is the Savior, the Anointed One, and the LORD. He is God dwelling in bodily form. Colossians 2:9; John 1:14. My Son. My Son, Myself and My Spirit, We are one God. Matthew 28:19; John 10:30. Three persons in One God. I have always been so since before the creation of the world. Notice even Moses wrote of Me as Elohim and not El.
I have different ways in which I provide for you and each one is a Person of My Oneness. The Son is your Savior, your Kinsman Redeemer, your High Priest, your Mediator of the New Covenant, and your Lamb of Sacrifice—the One who redeemed you from the curse of the law and cleansed you from all sin. Galatians 3:13; Ephesians 1:7. I AM the Father known as El Shaddai, Elohim, Yahavah, your creator, source, healer, and provider. Genesis 17:1; Genesis 22:14, Exodus 15:26. The Spirit releases My power, brings MyWord into being and is the breath by which I communicate with you and am able to live in each one of you personally. Genesis 1:2; Genesis 6:3; Genesis 41:38; Exodus 31:3; Numbers 11:26; Numbers 24:2; Judges 6:34; 1 Samuel 10:6; 1 Samuel 16:13; 2 Samuel 23:2; 1 Kings 18:12; 2 Chronicles 24:20; Psalm 104:30; Isaiah 11:2; Isaiah 42:1; Isaiah 44:3; Isaiah 59:21; Isaiah 61:1; Isaiah 63:10-11; Ezekiel 2:2; Ezekiel 11:5; Ezekiel 36:27; Ezekiel 39:29; Joel 2:28-29; Zechariah 4:6; Zechariah 7:12; Matthew 1:18; Matthew 3:11-16; Matthew 10:20; Luke 4:14-18; John 14:17, 26; John 16:13-15; John 20:22; Acts 1:5, 8, 16; Acts 2:33, 38; Romans 5:5; 1 Corinthians 6:19; 2 Corinthians 3:17-18; 2 Corinthians 13:14 Do not be taken aback by this. It is generated by My Love and My providence.
But back to the birth of the Messiah in Bethlehem, after My angel delivered the good news of the Savior’s birth, I sent a glorious sight, like we celebrate in Heaven every day, Isaiah 6:2-4; Daniel 7:10; Ezekiel 1:22-16, Revelation 4-5, suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising loudly, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Luke 2:14. Indeed, it was now peace between you and Me—My Son, the Savior, would take all the punishment due for your sins and My wrath would be turned away, it would be poured out on Him, so that you would all be cleansed and reconciled with Me. Isaiah 53:5-6. He would make you righteous by becoming sin on your behalf. 2 Corinthians 5:21.
Thus what I spoke before the flood came about, My Spirit will not always strive with man, Genesis 6:3, instead you will become one spirit with Me by joining with Jesus in My everlasting Covenant of love. 1 Corinthians 6:17.
When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds decided to go to Bethlehem and see that which I had told them. So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen Him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising Me for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.
Are you sharing what I have shown you, and glorifying and praising Me for all the things you have heard and seen? Or are you not even noticing them because you have forgotten the great love I have for you because of all the evil that is going on in the world?
Fall in love with Me and let Me take you on adventures with Me, like Moses, like Daniel, like Esther, like Ruth, like Jeremiah, and above all, like Jesus. He told you that those who believe in Him will do the works He did and greater! But this is for those who love Him. If you love Him He will give you another paraclete (one by your side) that will be in you and on you and will, if you partner with Him, change the entire world through you. Like Mary.
I love you. You are most blessed so that you can be a blessing. Know and believe in the love I have for you. You are the reason for it all—creation, redemption, salvation, and glory. It is not just My story, it is yours as well.
