But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-7.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The sanctified life puts you above and not beneath. I have raised you up with Christ and seated you with Him in the heavenly realm. You can live from a whole new perspective.
You have the advantage not the disadvantage. It is all because you have a new vantage point from which to view the things of the world. For you it has all been turned around by Jesus.
They dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.” Acts 17:6.
Has anyone accused you of turning the world upside down, or should I say “right side up” lately? Healings, signs, wonders, and a whole new teaching with authority can do it. Jesus came to set the captives free. He came to cast fire on the earth, the fire of My love that is stronger than death and can knock down any dividing wall.
He came to enlighten you with the light of life. He came to shepherd you out of darkness to My own marvelous light. He came to lead you to springs of living water where I wipe every tear from your eyes. He came to give you His peace. He came to give you His joy. He came to give you His eternal life for the eternal life you lost and pay your debt before My throne. He is Jubilee for you. He set all the captives free and healed the broken hearted. He came to give you JOY unspeakable filled with glory. He came to show you who I am and who you are. He came to give you back your dominion authority as His body on earth. He came to catch you up and seat you with Him on His throne above. For He won it for you.
When He stepped up to read and was handed the scroll of Isaiah in the synagogue at Nazareth on the day He revealed in the town where He had grown up to manhood who He was in Scripture, He began that He was anointed with the Spirit to bring good news to the poor, to the afflicted ones. And what was the good news to the poor? I had given them the Kingdom. All they had to do was seek My Kingdom first and everything would be added to them. Kingdom seekers are Kingdom keepers.
My blessing makes you rich and adds no sorrowful toil to it. The curse upon the earth that Adam unleashed by the sin that let it in, made existence toilsome labor. All creation had risen up against Adam and fought him to produce the crops that had once responded to his simple command to grow and richly provide all that was needed and an abundance.
But the good news is that Christ came and redeemed you from the curse by becoming a curse for you so that you could be blessed with every spiritual blessing in Heaven, the blessing of Abraham, and the promise of the Spirit by faith.
What is the difference in your life now that Christ has redeemed you from the curse of the law of sin and death? It has turned your world upside down. In other words, put you above and not beneath without leaving the earth. Now on earth you are standing on the upside and not the downside. Right where you are upon the earth you are seated in Heaven in Christ as a spiritual reality. You have changed locations without going anywhere. Do you understand? It is important you do or you will still be praying and behaving as if you are way beneath My throne and trying to get Me to come down to you, but actually in Christ I have turned you life around so you are up with Me right where you are.
Jesus showed Peter, Andrew, James, and John how this works when He first called them and it made them leave everything below to follow Him above, but do it right on the earth. Let Me show you.
Peter and Andrew, with their partners James and John, had toiled all night on the sea of Galilee and caught NOTHING. Toilsome labor with no result. The fish had totally outsmarted and escaped them even though I had given you rule over the works of My hands.
You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen—even the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas. Psalm 8:6-8.
But after Adam changed jurisdictions from light to darkness and plunged you all into the law of sin and death, creation rebelled against you for putting it into corruption. But Jesus came as the second Adam, for He was born from above and born free, and creation obeyed Him as the Son of Man, not as God for He had emptied Himself of His power as God and operated as one like you while He was on earth.
You, because of Adam’s corrupted seed, are not born from above but now thanks to the work of Jesus for you, you can change your citizenship back to the dominion of My Kingdom by being born again from above by submitting to My incorruptible Word and take your dominion authority back.
But back to the sea of Galilee on the day that turned Peter’s world upside down.
When Jesus got into Peter’s boat, after He had preached the good news to the crowd as Peter and his partners listened as well, Jesus directed Peter to go out to fish. And, take note, He told Peter just where to fish and exactly the strategy, Peter followed the directions though he did not believe they would catch anything based on his personal experience from the night before. Never underestimate obedience to My Word.
To Peter’s surprise, and that of his partners, the fish chased them down and fought to get in their nets and jump into their boats until they nearly sank.
Do you see the difference between the world system and the Kingdom system? In the world, Peter determined on his own knowledge and experience where to fish and how to do it. It did not produce anything but toil. You can do nothing fruitful without Me, but everything with Me. Nothing is impossible for Me. And all things are possible for those that believe that.
But when Peter got a strategy from Me in the Words of Jesus, who only spoke My Words and did My works, and he obeyed that Word, the blessings chased him down instead of him toiling to catch them.
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently listen to and obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.” Deuteronomy 28:1-2.
People say they are “disadvantaged,” but they are not. Anyone who wants to learn from Me has the advantage already.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9.
But you must sow to grow. Any farmer knows that, and it is a spiritual law as well.
He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8.
You have all the answers if you care to ask Me your questions. You do not have to go about confused or live your life on your own. I am present as your helper, provider, healer, counselor, and shalom. Learn to do everything with Me. Set Me at your right hand and you will never fear. I will show you the way, I will lead you in the way you should go to prosper.
“I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go. Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” Isaiah 48:17-18.
The sanctified life is one of questions answered. It is a life of answers. Call on Me and I will always answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know.
What things? All things concerning Christ.
Do you remember when on the day I raised Jesus from the dead, two disciples were walking discourage and sad on the road to Emmaus? Jesus came to walk with them but I tell you that “their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him.” Luke 24:16.
Hold that thought for a moment. Jesus started to converse with them, saying, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?” They answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?” And He said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus.” Luke 24:17-19.
So that was His opening, He then walked along taking them on the Eucharistic journey of remembrance. Beginning with Moses (the Torah, the first five books of the Bible), the prophets (nevi’im) and all Scriptures (Ketuvim), in other words, the entire Old Testament which was the only written Word of Mine at that time, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. And this took the entire day and so when evening came, they asked Jesus to step aside from His journey and dine with them. And it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.
Now listen to what I am teaching you here for it will bless you. You are not walking physically with Jesus as they were, but it gave them no advantage over you that He was physically with them. Their eyes were restrained from recognizing Him. The way they came to know it was He was by the revelation of Him in My Word. And that is exactly where you are getting revelation of who He is as well. REVELATION COMES FROM MY WORD.
Do not accept human testimony but that of My Word.
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.2 Peter 1:20.
I command you to keep your eyes on Jesus. He looks good, for I alone am good and when you see Jesus you see Me. For I am My Word.
Now My question is how do you keep your eyes on Jesus today, right now where you are? And I have given you the answer on that road to Emmaus, for to the disciples that day it turned out to be the road to freedom that turned their world upside down.
They did not recognize Him physically, and you no longer know Him that way either, but He revealed Himself to them in the Word (the Bible) and in the breaking of the bread (Communion). And that is how you see Him now as well.
I love you. Keep your eyes on My Word. Write it on your doorposts, write it on your hands, but above all write it on the tablet of your heart and you will have a heart filled with joy. My joy is in My Words for they are anointed, Spirit-breathed.
“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:11.
