Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; there is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, they would be too numerous to count. Psalm 40:5.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

The sanctified life is a life of wonders without number.

“But as for me, I would seek God, and I would place my cause before God; who does great and unsearchable things, wonders without number.” Job 5:8-9.

The sanctified life is a life without limits. My love for you is higher than the sky and deeper than the sea, it has no limits. It is you who limit Me, not I who limit you. Nothing is too wonderful, too hard, or impossible for Me. And all things are possible to the one who believes that and leans on My power and obeys My Words. I made everything and I sustain everything. It is foolish to act as if I cannot do things for you so that you have to disobey My commands and seek your strength in human flesh alone.

People consider that they need to wail and whine at Me and show Me how pitiful their plight is to get Me to move and do something to help them. This dishonors Me. I gave My Son for you and paid the judgment against you with His blood and yet most people treat Me as if I would not do anything wonderful for them unless they force Me or flatter Me into acting, and even then they are not sure whether I will or not.

I am not a hard taskmaster; I am not lacking in wisdom or common sense. I do not do irrational things or ask you to either. I never harm you or put sickness on you. I AM the LORD your healer. I AM the LORD your Shepherd. I AM the LORD who looks ahead and provides for you. And it is impossible for Me to lie. You can take Me at My Word and have everything I have promised you without limit.

You can live the abundant life Jesus came to give you. Adam and Eve had it, but never understood or appreciated what they had. They, like so many today, thought I was withholding from them and they had to look elsewhere to find the things they desired. They never understood who I was.

Jesus told the priests and Pharisees, the religious leaders of that day, that they failed to understand Scriptures or My power. They were very insulted by this because they thought they knew all about Me, but they were blind guides. They did not know Me. And yet My Word is open to all of you. And that is how you know anyone. You know them by the fruit of their lips which forms the fruit of their lives.

Open wide you mouth and I will fill it, but what do I fill it with so you may have and live the abundant life that is My Will for you? Have you never read:

“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My Words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your seed, nor from the mouth of your seed’s seed,” says the LORD, “from now and forever.” Isaiah 59:21.

The only way things get done in your life and in the earth is by words followed by actions, but everything is directed by words. And in your life, it is your words that make the difference. Not Mine, unless you agree with Me about yourself. But it is by your words you are acquitted or condemned. Idle words are not fruitful and will leave you wandering in the same wilderness year after year.

I work signs and wonders in the lives of people who open their hearts to Me, I delight to be with you and to do wonderful things that you can enjoy. I had great hopes that the descendants of My friend Abraham would open their hearts to Me and be My family, My lights in the world, to show everyone who I was and draw all the nations to Me.

“I am the LORD, I have called you in righteousness, I will also hold you by the hand and watch over you, and I will appoint you as a covenant to the people, as a light to the nations. Isaiah 42:6.

And I have told you the same: “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16.

I told the Israelites that I brought out of Egypt, “Behold, I am going to make a covenant. Before all your people I will perform miracles which have not been produced in all the earth nor among any of the nations; and all the people among whom you live will see the working of the LORD, for it is a fearful thing that I am going to perform with you.” Exodus 34:10.

When I made covenant with Abraham, he was only one at the time I made it, but with the Israelites I made a Covenant with an entire nation. But the more I called them the deafer they became. They did not understand that I was their healer. They broke My Covenant though I was a husband to them. Jeremiah 31:32.

“When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. But the more they were called, the more they went away from me. They sacrificed to the Baals and they burned incense to images. It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms; but they did not realize it was I who healed them. I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love. To them I was like one who lifts a little child to the cheek, and I bent down to feed them.” Hosea 11:1-4.

I have so much to give you, so much to share with you, so much I want to do for you, why won’t you come to Me and let Me be your God and you be My people? Why must you strive against Me? Even you who say you love Me? Why do you go to idols who cannot do anything for you but strip you of your glory? Why do you limit Me in your life and live in the wilderness when I want to seat you with princes before Me? When I have seated you who believe in My Son at My right had with Him in your spirit even now? You are seated with the Prince of Peace and He has given you His peace. Do not let your hearts be fearful, do not let them be afraid.

And that was the problem with the Israelites I redeemed out of slavery in Egypt by great wonders. They saw My works but they never knew My ways. Do you?

My ways are paths of lovingkindness and truth. The words there with which I describe Myself in Hebrew are “chesed (חֵסֵד)” and “emet (אֶמֶת).” I use these many times in referring to who I AM. My servant Paul, who was well versed in My Word from his childhood, defined “chesed” for you very well in this passage about My character:

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-7.

You will see “chesed” in the Old Testament translated as “mercy,” “grace,” “favor,” “love,” “kindness,” and “lovingkindness.” And all these are unconditional on your performance. They describe who I am and I am true to who I am. I wipe out your transgressions for My own sake. Isaiah 43:25. I offer this to you in Jesus.

“I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.” Isaiah 44:22.

I have done this for you, but you must return to Me to benefit from it or I cannot intrude into your life. The father could do nothing to supply for the prodigal son as long as he was rejecting him, but once he returned to seek forgiveness all was gone of the evil he had done.

Love is not tolerant of evil. I am just and do justice. I am not tolerant of evil. I love all that I have made but I tolerate no evil to reside with Me and that is true love, it is not that I exclude anyone who comes to Me but true love cannot be penetrated by evil or it is no longer pure love. I sent My light into the world in My Son for all but some refused to come into that light preferring to remain in the outer darkness because their deeds were evil. John 3:19-20.

I correct and discipline you in love. Love never gives up to save the beloved but it will not let the beloved persist in evil that would ruin the beloved’s life.

Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 3:19-21.

I promised the Israelites wonders but even though I parted the Red Sea, gave them bread from Heaven every day and a double portion on the day before Shabbat, gave them quail that landed around their camp, water gushing from flinty rocks, riches beyond what they ever dreamed they could have as they left Egypt, beautiful clothing, and a tabernacle where I dwelt among them and led them by My glory cloud they never trusted Me to protect them and keep giving them all they needed. They never stepped up to live the life of wonders without number.

And even once established in the Promised Land by miracles and wonders worked at the hands of Joshua who meditated on My Word day and night, they went back to their old ways of idol worship and rejection of My Word which was their very life.  and would not walk as the royal priesthood I wanted them to be. They fell back to their old ways, but whenever they turned to Me in faith and love, as they did with Jehoshaphat and Hezekiah, miracles, signs, and wonders would again be the rule in their land.

When you trust Me I can work with you in wonderful ways. But if there is no trust in our relationship you never will step out in thanksgiving to run the path of the life of good deeds I have prepared for you in advance. My righteous one shall live by faith and if he draws back I take no pleasure in him. Why? I cannot perform My promise for you unless you walk it out all the way with Me.

What do you do then? Keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the author and finisher of your faith. He is the faithful and the true. When Peter kept his eyes on Jesus the impossible happened and he walked on the water just as naturally as walking on the shore. But when he took his eyes off Jesus and looked at the wind and the sea the wonders ceased.

When the crowd of over 5,000 men was hungry in the wilderness, the disciples looked at the five loaves and two fish and they saw nothing but lack. Jesus raised His eyes up to Me and saw the provision that was Spirit, the hidden manna, and He thanked Me. He put the whole matter in the Kingdom and He got Kingdom results. And so can you.

It all depends on where you are putting your attention. The Israelites under king Saul looked at themselves and at Goliath, and he looked too big for them, and they retreated in fear to their tents. David looked at Me first and then at Goliath and Goliath looked small in comparison to the One that was with David. David put Me continually before him, with Me at his right hand he was never shaken, never disturbed. Psalm 16:8.

Do you know that I am not only with you, but in you by My Spirit dwelling in your spirit? Get your eyes off yourself and the world, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

I am quite clear where you are to focus your attention. Lift up your eyes and see, is there any God besides Me? No there is not. I AM.

Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. Colossians 3:1-4.

Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:6-9.

I love you. When are you going to start living the life you were born to live? I have given you My Name, and it is Wonderful. Judges 13:18.
