Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of the trial that is about to come upon all the world, to try those dwelling upon the earth. Revelation 3:10.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

The sanctified life is a life of perseverance. Perseverance is the key to longevity. A long life of good days. Perseverance wins the prize, the quitter is despised. The coward draws back, and cowards do not make it into the Kingdom, only overcomers. And the only way you overcome is perseverance in faith.

A farmer understands perseverance. The harvest does not come the day you plant the seed. He plants it and waits patiently for the seed to grow, mature, and then be ready for harvest. You bear fruit through perseverance.

But for those with a journey to make, and in these last days that is all of you, it is time to accelerate. Yes, you can speed up your harvest. Have you never read My prophet Amos?

“Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “When the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; when the mountains will drip sweet wine and all the hills will be dissolved.” Amos 9:13.

And how does this come about? You raise the tabernacle of praise.

“In that day I will raise up the fallen tabernacle of David, and wall up its breaches; I will also raise up its ruins and rebuild it as in the days of old.” Amos 9:11.

And when does all this take place?

“Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, and they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them; they will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, and make gardens and eat their fruit. I will also plant them on their land, and they will not again be rooted out from their land which I have given them,” says the LORD your God. Amos 9:14-15.

And that is happening right now. The ruined cities of Judah and Samaria are being rebuilt and are thriving. The vineyards are planted and flourishing. And the gardens are again growing.

This is the time to raise the tabernacle of praise. The tent of song twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week before Me in the sweet melodies in the tabernacle of your heart where My Spirit dwells.

Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourself and to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father. Ephesians 5:15-20.

The voice of thanksgiving works wonders. Thanksgiving and praise are miracle grow to your harvest and the catalyst with your faith to provide wonder working power. When your enemy advances against you, and Satan and his unclean spirits will, throw the atomic bomb of praise and take every one of them down. Like Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah did against their enemies surrounding them.

They rose early in the morning and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa; and when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, O Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, put your trust in the Lord your God and you will be established. Put your trust in His prophets and succeed.” When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said, “Give thanks to the Lord, for His lovingkindness is everlasting.” When they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were routed. For the sons of Ammon and Moab rose up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir destroying them completely; and when they had finished with the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another. When Judah came to the lookout of the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude, and behold, they were corpses lying on the ground, and no one had escaped. When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take their spoil, they found much among them, including goods, garments and valuable things which they took for themselves, more than they could carry. And they were three days taking the spoil because there was so much. 2 Chronicles 20:20-25.

When I talk about perseverance, it is not the “grit your teeth and bear the pain” kind that the world thinks is perseverance, that is not what I am talking about at all. That is not an overcomer that is a succumber. I am talking about perseverance in joyful praise for the promised result of victory over whatever has come against you no matter how long it takes. But once you understand the strength against the enemy of joyful praise for your victory it won’t take so long.

In the Book of Revelation you will find that Jesus told the church at Philadelphia that because they had kept the Word of His perseverance, He also would keep them from the hour of testing, which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. When you praise in time of trial seeing the victory in My Word you have passed the test already. Yes, in that test, many will be weighed in the scales and found wanting with their deeds not complete in My sight.  Daniel 5:27; Revelation 3:2.

In the letter of James you find it written:  “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance (this is the same word used in Revelation 3:10 sometimes translated as endurance, sometimes patience and sometimes perseverance). And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” 1 James 1:2-4.

What makes you complete?  You are complete in Christ.  Colossians 2:10.

But how are you kept from the hour of testing—of trial—that is coming in these last days upon all who dwell on the earth?  By keeping the Word of My perseverance (patience, endurance).

Now, you may be saying to yourself:  “What does that mean?” or “What is that?”  Do not ask yourself.  Your soul does not know the answer.  But My Spirit in your spirit does.  And He will lead you to all truth.  So ask Me.

Let Me show you the Scripture where I explain it.  Go to the Scripture where Jesus was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane the night before He gave His life for you—the night in which He was betrayed and allowed Himself to be taken captive. Matthew 26:53.

He asked Peter, James and John to watch with Him and pray.

This is keeping the Word of My perseverance and endurance.  It is staying with Me in a trial instead of turning away from Me in disappointed anger, depression, bitterness, fear, disillusion, or indifference.  It is believing and living in My love even when things look as dark as they did in that Garden to Peter, James and John that night.  It is staying close to Me through thick and thin, never turning back from fellowshipping with Me in spirit and truth—that is, in faith in My goodness and power to work a miracle for you (in spirit) and in the truth of My Word.  Staying close to Me always and at all times.  As David wrote:  “I will bless the LORD at all times.”  Psalm 34:1.

It is rejoicing always, praying without ceasing and giving constant thanks. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Doing those three things is keeping the Word of My perseverance. This is how you watch with Me and how you avoid tests, trials and temptations.  And this is My Will for you in Christ Jesus. And when you live this way you are keeping the Word of My perseverance with joy.  Jesus persevered to His death on the Cross, keeping His eyes on Me, for the joy that lay before Him, the joy of your salvation.  Romans 12:2-3.

My apostle Peter put it well under inspiration of My Spirit when he wrote:  “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an imperishable and undefiled inheritance that will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:3-9.

Keeping the Word of My perseverance is keeping the joy in your heart that no man can take from you of knowing that I am with you and that you have the victory in Jesus.  It is knowing that I have saved you and redeemed you from the curse.

I will never leave or forsake you—so no matter what, do not leave or forsake Me.  Watch with Me and pray and you will avoid the test (trial, temptation).  Just as My Son told Peter, James and John that night in the Garden of Gethsemane when they were overcome with grief.  When Jesus rose from prayer, He found them sleeping from sorrow. Luke 22:45.

Keeping the Word of My perseverance is holding fast to what you have in Me so that no one can take your crown.  Revelation 3:11.

How blessed is the one who perseveres under temptation; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which I have promised to those who love Me!  James 1:12. And when tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For I cannot be tempted by evil, nor do I tempt anyone.  James 1:13. It was not Me who brought the trial on Job but the devil. Job 2:7. I took Job out of it, healed him and prospered him twice as much as he had been before his temptation.  Job 42:10, 12.

And My Son told you to pray not to be led into or fall into temptation (testing, trial) but to ask that I deliver you from all evil.  Matthew 6:13.

In all of these passages the same Greek word is used which is translated sometimes as “test”, sometimes as “trial”, and sometimes as “temptation” but it is all the same word.

And remember, I do not bring these on, but since the fall of Adam when he gave Satan his dominion in the earth various trials come to you.  But if you keep the Word of My perseverance I can shield you from them and bring you out of them better than you were when they began.  Remember, no temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And I am faithful; I will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, I will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.  1 Corinthians 10:13.

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.  Just stay close to Me (for when you draw close to Me I draw close to you and in My presence there is fullness of joy and perfect protection), and I, the God of all grace, who called you to My eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Myself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. I will sanctify you entirely and preserve your spirit, soul and body complete, without blame at the coming of your Lord Jesus Christ.  I who call you to the Word of My perseverance am faithful and I will do it.  1 Thessalonians 5:23-24.

I love you.  Know that forever and you will never fall into temptation.  I keep those who love Me.

But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance. Luke 8:15.
