He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
In Jesus, I have redeemed you, and I do not do things half-way. In Him, I gave you the fullness of redemption.
For with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption. Psalm 130:7.
And of the fullness of Jesus you have all received, grace on top of grace. The double-double portion of the Jubilee constantly.
When Jesus took all your sins on Himself, into His own flesh, He also took all your sickness and pains, grief and sorrow.
Surely our sickness and griefs He Himself bore, and our pains and sorrows He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, struck by God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being (shalom) fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed. All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him. Isaiah 53:4-6.
To come in the flesh like you, He emptied Himself of His powers as God and humbled Himself below Me to be like you in all things but sin, your kinsman redeemer. He came to serve you, so He then went the extra mile, and emptied Himself of His riches as the righteous man, His perfect health as the perfect man, and His eternal life as born from the imperishable seed of My Word, and took the curse of poverty, sickness, and eternal death, by accepting all your sins into His flesh that hour in the Garden of Gethsemane when He drank the cup of wrath so that you will never have to drink it. I have redeemed you.
“I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.” Shout for joy, O heavens, for the LORD has done it! Isaiah 44:22-23.
In Jesus, I redeemed you from the curse of the law of sin and death. I have set you free. He took the curse and gave you back the Blessing, the Eden Blessing, which I also call the “Blessing of Abraham.”
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a cross.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit by faith. Galatians 3:13-14.
By His blood, He released you from your sins, and by His resurrection you have eternal life. Your sins are gone, borne by Him who knew no sin but became sin for you all. And the same is true with your sickness, pain, poverty, and eternal death. It all goes together in your Covenant benefit package, as you see in Psalm 103:1-5. But you have to understand something, to have faith to receive healing, or, indeed, any of the benefits I have freely given you in Christ, and not block it out of your life, that is, shut it out of your heart so that you cannot receive it into your spirit and then let it flow into your body by the quickening of the Holy Spirit, you must know you are forgiven. And you also must forgive others.
Why is that? Unforgiveness of yourself and others keeps you from going forward, it paralyzes you where you are. The seed of unforgiveness, planted in your heart by the devil, puts down a bitter root and produces weeds, thorns and bitter fruit that choke off the good seed of My healing and lifegiving Word. Unforgiveness grows and produces bitter fruit and you will eat the fruit of your lips. Bitter roots twine around the door to your heart and keep My blessings tightly shut out though I send them down to you from above. They are all piled up outside your door.
Let me first show you in an incident in the life of My Son.
Jesus had been going about teaching, preaching and healing, when He had come back to Capernaum, it was heard that He was at home. Mark 2:1. One day He was teaching and many were gathered together, so many that there was no longer room, not even near the door; and He was speaking the Word to them. Mark 2:2. And there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and My power was present for Jesus to perform healing. Luke 15:17.
My power was present to heal, and Jesus let it flow completely with no hindrance of sin, ill will, or malice in Him at all. His heart was loving to Me and to all those gathered about Him. Satan never found any place to occupy in Jesus. He was too full of the Holy Spirit and My Word.
Jesus wanted My healing to touch everyone there. But you will note that no one but one man was healed that day. Negative, unbelieving, critical people can stop the flow of miracles even though the power is always present to heal. Scorn and jealousy will always stop the flow of the Kingdom into the earth.
Some men came carrying a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Jesus. But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus. Luke 5:18-19. Seeing their faith, He said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven you.” Luke 5:20; Mark 2:5.
This man could not walk. He was stuck where he was and had to have friends carry him to Jesus on a stretcher. He was a burden to himself and his friends. And Jesus saw the problem right away. This man was stuck in unforgiveness of himself. And it had crippled him and cut off his fruitfulness. There was no growth going on his life except that of bitter roots, shame, guilt, and blame. He let his friends bring him to Jesus but under self-condemnation he had no faith in being healed.
So whose faith did Jesus see? The faith of those carrying the man there. They insisted to bring him to Jesus, and what the man could not do on his own, they did. It was not easy work to carry him there, let alone to climb up on the roof with a stretcher with the man on it and then lift out the roof tiles and lower him down. But they did it because they had fully persuaded faith that if they just got him before Jesus that their friend would most certainly be healed. And no crowd was going to daunt their mission. Jesus granted their prayer of faith.
Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. James 5:14-16.
The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?” Luke 5:21.
Now it is the opposite. People generally accept that I can forgive sins, but most have no confidence I will heal them even though I have promised to do so. With that double minded attitude they receive nothing. Healing is present for them, but they just cannot receive it. This grieved Jesus in His hometown of Nazareth. He had the power to heal them, and He wanted to do so, but they rejected it and with that He could do nothing for them. They tied His hands, so to speak. The first generation of Israelites did the same thing to Me when I redeemed them out of slavery in Egypt and guided them to the land I had promised Abraham to give his descendants right at that time. They had no faith in My Word to go in and so I could not force them. I do not go against your free Will. By your Words you decide your life. Speak My promises with faith and you shall have them for sure.
Immediately Jesus, aware in His spirit that the Pharisees were reasoning that way within themselves, this was a Word of Knowledge from the Holy Spirit in and on Him, said to them, “Why are you reasoning about these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven’; or to say, ‘Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk’? But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralytic, “I say to you, get up, pick up your pallet and go home.” And he got up and immediately picked up the pallet and went out in the sight of everyone glorifying Me, so that they were all amazed and were glorifying Me, saying, “We have never seen anything like this. We have seen remarkable things today.” Mark 2: 8-12; Luke 5:25-26.
When My Son released the paralyzed man from his sins, that is, when the man realized he was forgiven of all he had done, that forgiveness My Son extended from My heart to that of the paralyzed man, he was freed of self-condemnation, got up, picked up his own mat, and went home. He had become independent and received back his dominion authority, which guilt and shame, that is, unforgiveness of himself, had deprived him of.
The devil shamed Adam into obeying him after Adam sinned. Adam thought that sinning against Me would make him master—that was what the devil promised him. But instead it stripped him of glory and his dominion authority and made him the slave of the devil. He took on the yoke of the slavery of sin and death. And that is a heavy, body destroying, back breaking yoke. That burden is too heavy for you because you were not designed to carry it. I made you free to rule and reign through Me.
And the result of the heavy yoke and the rule of your taskmaster, Satan, is sickness, poverty, and eternal death. And those are hard burdens to carry. But the devil will not lift a finger to help you budge them. He will accuse you and drive you all the more. And his accusations and pressure will cause you to overeat or under eat, keep you from rest, drive you to addictions to fill the emptiness in you and try to make you cut short your life. He does not want you fruitful for the Kingdom. He wants you sick and broke. And that is where many of you have permitted him to drive you.
Well, it is time you let My Son break that yoke off your back and yoked up yourself with Him as a team to go forward. And He will take the load and the lead if you will let Him. And the only way you can let Him in is by receiving My forgiveness for yourself and extending it to others as well. For the standard of judgment you use on others I must use back on you.
Remember, My Son has ransomed, redeemed, reconciled, and restored you. Those are the 4 R’s of His Mission, so now you must do your 4 R’s: Repent, return, rejoice, and receive My restoration with faith to give you better than you had before.
Never allow yourself to wallow in the mire of your sins. The prodigal son had to get out of the pigpen to return to his father. Be like David, get up, get dressed in fine attire, and go before Me and worship. He could then go forward.
Out of that dry stump of unforgiveness in your life, let a new shoot come up from that old root. And in Him, I have made you a new creation. You are not the old you anymore, you are new creation in Christ. Stop trying to live in the slavery of the old man and put on the new. Get up out of the dust of unforgiveness and shake off the chains and let Me heal you! You still have work to do for the Kingdom.
Awake, awake, clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; clothe yourself in your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for the uncircumcised and the unclean will no longer come into you. Shake yourself from the dust, rise up, O captive Jerusalem; loose yourself from the chains around your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. . . How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces shalom and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation (Yeshuah). Isaiah 52:1-2, 7.
Awake, sleepter, arise from the dead and Christ will give you light. Ephesians 5:14. You were once dead in your sins and trespasses, but now I have raised you up to new life in Christ and seated you with Him in heaven with all your sins gone. He made peace through the blood of the Cross and made you holy, blameless, and without reproach before Me. And by His stripes you are, were, and will be healed, for I AM the One who is, was, and will always be your healer. Yahavah Ropheka. Do not forget My Name.
I love you. And love forgives and love heals. Love Me and one another and health and healing will be your lifestyle. Why? You know how to overcome with the blood of Jesus and the Word of your testimony. My Word in your mouth is the only way to speak to the devil when he attacks. Why? The angels, including Satan and his demons, have to obey My Word, even out of your mouth. Psalm 103:20. But make sure you are not allowing the devil to inhabit you by unforgiveness. That is from him and that lets him in every time. Make up your mind today to shut that door for Jesus has opened the door to you of forgiveness, healing, and everlasting love.
For You shall break the yoke of their burden and the staff on their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor, as at the battle of Midian. For every boot of the booted warrior in the battle tumult, and cloak rolled in blood, will be for burning, fuel for the fire. For a child is born to us, a Son is given to us; and on His shoulders dominion rests and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, God Hero, Father Forever, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:4-7.
