For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. Matthew 12:34.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:

Most people do not control their thoughts, their thoughts control them. This ought not to be. You are the one that determines what you are going to allow your mind to dwell upon.

Do not let unruly thoughts torment you and ruin your life. Do not let painful memories control your present and your future. I am the God of peace. Great peace, double shalom, have those that keep their minds stayed on Me for I am your everlasting rock.

Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19.

If you want to live in times of refreshing, showers of blessing on My holy mountain of grace, which Jesus opened to you, you must control what you allow yourself to think upon.

This may surprise you, but you can control your mind. And this is not an option. I command you to do so. In fact, I tell you what to think upon so that you won’t be confused in this.

But first let Me back up a little. I tell you that your tongue is like a rudder on a ship or a bit and bridle on a horse, that your life is steered in the direction it is headed by what you are saying, by your tongue. If you control your tongue, you can control your entire body. James 3:2-5. And that tells you that if you do not control your tongue, you cannot control your body.

How can you control your tongue? Your mouth speaks whatever fills your heart, that is, the thoughts of your heart. The thoughts of your heart are the thoughts that have come into your mind which you have accepted and allowed yourself to ponder upon until they become “you,” that is, your inner man—the way you believe that directs what you say and do. And that leads to the conclusion that if you control your thoughts, that is, what you accept and what you reject that comes into your mind, you will also control your words, and this will result in total self-control—spirit, soul, and body. Your peace, health, well-being, prosperity, fruitfulness, and you very life for now and forever depend upon what you are allowing your mind to dwell upon.

My heart overflows with a good theme; I address my verses to the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Psalm 45:1.

With your tongue, by what you say that comes from your thoughts that you are dwelling upon, you are writing on the tablet of your heart and on the hearts of others who are influenced by you. By your words you are acquitted (declared righteous as a judicial verdict) and by your words you are condemned. You will be judged for every idle (useless, malicious, or anxious) word you speak. Death and life are in the power (hand) of the tongue and you will eat the fruit thereof.

This is serious. It is a matter of life and death, blessing and cursing, and will set the course of your life. Your tongue can be empowered by the fire of pure love from above or by the fire of lust from hell below.

See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell. James 3:5-6.

Do you see now why I tell you to set your mind above where I have seated you with Jesus in the spirit even now? You must set your mind on the spirit, which is life and peace, and not on the flesh, which is death and confusion.

How can you control your tongue? No man on his own will power can control his tongue. But I have put My Words in your mouth and My Spirit upon you and in you. Yes, you need a helper and I have given you one, My Spirit, He will convict you, lead you, guide you, and inspire you with My Words, revealing to you secrets of grace and beautiful treasures that will fill the rooms of your heart with precious things, but you must yield to Him and not be stubborn like a mule who will not budge off its own course.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, otherwise they will not come near to you. Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in the LORD, lovingkindness shall surround him. Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous ones; and shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart. Psalm 32:8-11.

Now let Me give you a checklist of what to think upon. And you should know this list for I am very clear about it in the Bible in many places. I gave the teaching very clearly from the beginning but people do not control their thoughts as they should to have a beautiful and peaceful life in any circumstances.

Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. Genesis 6:5-6.

My apostle Paul lived this and he wrote that he had learned to be content in any circumstance, whether outwardly good or bad by what others or Satan was causing around him, because he had inner peace and knew that I would deliver him out of anything evil that came against him. And I delivered him out of them all. Like Daniel in the lion’s den. He was not worried. And it took controlling his thoughts and his words thereby to get to that place of peace and perfect protection.

Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him. You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:6-7.

So let us look at your checklist. First, I tell you to be anxious for nothing. Jesus told you this when He gave you His peace, i.e., do not let your hearts be anxious, do not let them be afraid. Do not keep troubling yourself about things, cast your cares on Me because I care for you, and I will take care of what is troubling you.

When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul. Psalm 94:19.

You just need to keep your eyes on Me and do what I tell you as the solution and I will do the rest. The battle is Mine and the victory is yours, you just need to walk it out. Even when you are in a dark valley, I am there to protect you and lead you out to the table of plenty and into My house. There is cause for rejoicing here, I am with you to save you, deliver you, bless you, and honor you. With a long life filled with good days I will satisfy you and show you My Salvation (Yeshuah, Jesus).

Next, I tell you that in everything you are to come to Me and tell Me about it in prayer and petition for a good result, and to come with confidence that I will act in your behalf to work all things together for good for you who love Me and are called according to the assignment I have for your life, which is unique to you. And this results in thanksgiving before you see the result, for in knowing My love you know that you have the good I promise you for sure. Thank Me with joy for taking care of the problem and you will keep worry out. Remember I am the LORD who looks ahead and provides. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing and give constant thanks. Do you see why this is My Will for you? It will refresh your drooping spirit and enkindle the fire of love in your heart.

And then what do you do until the good I have promised you in My Word that you are relying upon manifests by My Spirit in you by quickening your thoughts and words that line up with My Words into life? You continue in peace and thankfulness by thinking upon whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in My Word, especially as manifested in the life and teachings of Jesus, practice these things, and the I, the God of peace (Yahavah Shalom) will be with you. Philippians 4:8-9.

The Lord LORD has given Me the tongue of disciples, that I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple. The Lord LORD has opened My ear; and I was not disobedient nor did I turn back. Isaiah 50:4-5.

What you think on after you have prayed to Me about a situation is critical to the outcome. That is why I had to silence Zachariah when I granted his prayer for a child until it came to pass. He would have aborted it by his words. Life and death are in the power of your tongue and he had a mind set on unbelief and doubt. This is what kept the generation of Israelites I redeemed from slavery out of entering and taking possession of the land I had promised them. Their thoughts. My thoughts are higher than the thoughts of a complainer. But I offer you My thoughts in My Word and I will put them in your mouth if you will just open your mouth bigger. That is, think BIG (Beautiful in God) and you can talk BIG. If you can count the grains of sand on the seashore, you may be able to decipher the number of good plans I have for you. They span eternity with Me.

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You. Psalm 139:16-18.

What are you thinking on right now? Examine your thoughts. There are some you may need to fire as you would a useless and unruly employee. You have an inner business to run and a building project to raise, it is time you made your life one of significance.

Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:7-9.

I love you. It all comes down to whether you will make a quality decision to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. If you will watch your thoughts and imaginations and reject the ones contrary to My Word you will speak right and you will do right and you will live right. It all starts in your heart but it does not stay there. The designs of My heart are for all generations. They are eternal. And so are yours. Remember that next time you are having a thought that is troubling you. Do you want that to be in your eternal remembrance?

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:5-9.
